I toured the community and the team was absolutely amazing! Sadly my father passed away so we didn’t move forward. This place just seems to offer more one on one care for seniors

My mom is at OakBrook at Southgate. Her apartment is adequate. It's a nice little room. It's well furnished, newer, and clean. The staff members are fine. They're very friendly. They have a new manager there now who is very outgoing and very forthcoming with information. Regarding the food, some days, my mom complains about the food, and on other days she loves the food. They have a family room upstairs. They have cameras everywhere. They have two bathrooms. Their activities are kind of lacking, though. A lot of the people are staying in the rooms watching TV, so I would say that's not great right now. With regard to the value for the money, it's expensive, but it's worth it. She could afford it.
