"I visited and they were fabulous. My only problem with them is that they don't have memory care yet. The staff, Kate and Kristen, were both very good. The place was very nice, and that is actually where we were planning on putting my mom and her partner, but they have everything but memory care. The facility was beautiful; it was outstanding everywhere. The location would have been convenient for all of my family members. It would be easy to get to, and the parking was large enough if we visit."

"I toured Allegria Village. It was very well thought out. The size of the rooms was excellent; excellent space. All is beautiful. If it were in my budget, I would move. The dining area was quite spacious. The staff member was very informative. She knew what she was talking about, and the place was beautiful. I wish I could have gotten in. It was clean.They have patios for the apartments, and they're really nice."

"I liked American House Westland Venoy the best. We enjoyed the tour because the facility was so nice and clean. It was a smaller place which is what we liked because she'd have a hard time getting around a bigger place. The dining room was pretty much central and not too far from any of the rooms, which was nice. They're doing a remodel of their studios with a walk-in shower, and that's what we'd like also. We liked the people that work there including Donna, the lady that showed us around. They were very helpful. It didn't look that terrific on the outside, but on the inside, it looked nice. They had a library, drawings, and paintings, a bus to take you to the store or the bank, and they had a medical team on site."

I feel like she would be in great hands here. The one young lady Kiara was very sweet and answered all of my questions. "We went to American House Dearborn Heights. The one thing we did like about that one was the hallways were wider. The tour was fine. The lady who took us around was OK. The location was okay. It was weirdly placed up where it was. The rooms didn't quite grab us there. They just weren't appealing or something. It just didn't jump out at us like the one he's in now. The plus was the hallways were wider and the doorways were wider, but that's all I can remember. The staff was okay. They were nice, but I just felt more of warmth at the one that he is in now. They were OK. It wasn't as warm or something as the other facility."

"I toured The Westland House. It was assisted living, but it didn't meet my father's exact needs. However, everyone was friendly and very informative. I saw a couple of rooms, and they were a good size. They would meet the needs of having an assisted living place. They were good. The common dining area seemed nice. It looked more like a restaurant. The grounds seemed fine. They had a courtyard, but no hiking trails or anything like that. When I was there, I didn't notice any activities."
