My mother is at Ring House and I'm satisfied with it. They tried very hard to protect the residents and keep them safe, and provide appropriate activities. The cleanliness is good and the place is very nice. They take them to local stores, they take them to a nearby theater, and nearby restaurants and they take them to the Jewish community center across the street for programs. They also take them on trips, there are day trips if you sign up. They provide movies, they have a TV channel where they have programs, and they have movies. They bring in rabbis for holidays, they provide kosher meals for Jewish people, and they are very good about holidays, allowing families to come to celebrate in-house if needed. I live nearby, so I take my mother home. I think they handled the pandemic well, except that it was incredibly stressful on my mother and me because there were months and months when I wasn't allowed to see her, which I understand was necessary. It's good value for the money.

I felt like Ring House was an old folks' home. The grounds were immaculate. The layout was nicely done. It was well taken care of. It was beautiful. It was very nice. They had a special, too. The first month was free. In the second month, if you qualify, you only have to pay 60%. They had spacious apartment homes. They had the congressional and that was two-bedroom-one-bath. The staff who helped me was very knowledgeable, and he was very, very good. They provided breakfast and dinner. They provided your choice of a menu. It was amazing what they offered. They offered Kosher to the Jewish people. They had arts, the library, and laundry.

My mother is approved for the subsidized housing at Ring House. They have vacancies, and when she's ready she'll go there. Based on my visit, everything was great. They were professional, very conscientious of the COVID-19, very pleasant, and welcoming. The facility was beautiful. They had lots of inside plants, there was an art facility, a workout room, a huge library with computers, and a big beautiful sunroom. It was very clean. My mother would not go anywhere that wasn't pristine, and they paint it before you move in, and clean the carpet, so you're getting a brand-new place basically. They have all kinds of activities every single day. They go on trips, they have rides, they go places, and they dance. They have dance lessons, mahjong, and yoga. There's a schedule every day on a flat screen in the lobby, but it also is on a channel that they have on everyone's television, so they can just look at it and do the yoga at home if they want to.
