"Kentlands Manor is a great place, but it's beyond my price level. The community was gorgeous. The people were very nice and friendly. The property was gorgeous. The apartment was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I would recommend it to anybody who can afford it. The staff members were excellent. The building was very clean, inside and out. The layout was good. "Visionary Square was beautiful, but it didn't feel personal. It was too strict. I like to have the feeling that I feel protected, and I didn't feel that from there. The room was beautiful, and my granddaughter loved it, but to fit in a setting like that, it's gonna cost me money. If you want to study outside your room or if you don't want people to come into your room, you could sit out in the hallway. It was clean. The staff was honest enough to say that they have all types of people. I could be next to a mentally ill person. I respected that because most people only want to tell you the best of everything, and then you get in and find it's not like that. It's a very nice district. There are stores everywhere. They said they didn't offer much. I asked them if they had a gym room and things like that. She said no, but they were thinking about doing something like that or having different vendors come in."

"I like the community assistance that The Residences at Thomas Circle would be able to offer. We looked at several arrangements, and the studio apartment seemed best for my friend. I liked the flexibility of it, being able to add assistance if needed. The staff was very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. The facility was very clean. It was suitable for someone who needed independent living. There were no odors. It was great. The size of the room was quite appropriate for a senior who would be staying in a studio independently. The assisting team that was there was very welcoming. It was a great tour."
