"My aunt will be moving in this week to Mohawk Estate Assisted Living. It was the best assisted living community that I've seen thus far, it was very warm, it was very personable, and it was very clean. They had great activties that they had prepared, I talked to some of the residents, and they had everything, so the positives definitely outweighed the negatives."

"The tour I had of Heritage at Augsburg's independent living was good. The people I met were friendly. The person who gave the tour was a little busy that day. He had other people and a lot of appointments, but he managed to squeeze me in and showed me a couple of apartments, and they looked good. He's also willing to work with me on an anticipated move-in date if we reach that point. The tour went well. They showed me the library, gym, and arts and crafts room. I also saw the restaurant and the community center room. They even offered me a meal, which was very tasty. It was overcast that day, so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the outside, but the inside of the place was clean and well-kept."

"#1 Adoring Adult Care was immaculate. It was so clean and so well-kept. They are high on my list. The neighborhood was a little so-so, but the house, the lady there, the residents, and everything was immaculate. She had stairs, but she had a chairlift for them, and their stairs were nice and wide so it wouldn't have been a hazard. The dining room was very nice and clean, too. There was a courtyard and a nice front porch. The residents seemed clean and well taken care of."

"I went to look at The Hamlet at Queenstown. The facility was well-run. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. The amenities and the facilities were very nice. If my mom only needed assisted living, it's a nice place. The kitchen was very clean. Nobody was expecting me to come, but the facility was extremely clean."

"I went to look at Edens Homes. The people I met were friendly. They answered all my questions. The facility was clean. All the rooms were nice. They had walk-in showers. The staff member who took me around was friendly, very informative, and approachable. They serve two meals and a snack. They had a nurse who would come in once a month. They put small refrigerators in the room. They have transportation."

"The thing I like about Wilshire Estates Gracious Retirement Living is that they seem to have a lot of activities. They have three meals a day, so they have a refrigerator. I don't think they have an oven or a stove top because you're not supposed to be cooking, and you're supposed to go down to the dining room. The staff who gave the tour was very good. The building is pretty new. They can sign up for a shuttle bus to go to the local pool, for example."

"As a resident here for the last 4 months ,I have experienced nothing but kindness from the staff and residence here. I receive a written schedule every morning during breakfast with the daily activities that are planned for the day (which include but aren't limited to bingo arts and crafts and even movies that we all watch together). The meal menu is provided and prepared by an actual chef that keeps the meals flavorful and entertaining (there also substitutions made for dietary needs or if you just don't like what's on the menu that night). The nursing staff are knowledgeable and well-versed on conditions that I may need or require due to my medical needs and circumstances. The management staff are very quick to respond to any issues that may arise throughout the day and answer any questions that may come up."

"This place is by far the best in Anna Arundel County. Around the clock care, a knowledgeable owner, and great meals. My aunts did respite care here and we ended up keeping her here. The owner and his staff went above and beyond to care for her until she passed. My family and I will be forever grateful for the care my aunt received. My aunt was bed bound ; the team frequently made sure she was turned and had creams applied. Her label drastically improved and she did well up until her passing, which she did at-home hospice care there. Thank you so much Utopia and Mr. Williams"

"Cadence Living Olney is lovely. The facility is really good. We looked at a studio and a one-bedroom. The studio was lovely. They both had a small kitchen facility, but we liked the one bedroom, just to have that extra space. We viewed the physical therapy room, activities room, and dining room. Everything was so pretty and people were so friendly. I was impressed by that. They have a nice screened-in porch and there's a nature preserve behind, which was a nice feature, to have those trees behind you and then a walkway all around the place. They all seemed genuinely friendly. We saw interactions between staff and residents there, and they were all positive. My son and daughter-in-law ate lunch there and talked with three of the residents who were all very positive about the place and happy living there. They like the food."

"I went to Victory Crossing in Silver Spring and spoke with the manager. They said you have to have a specific income that I don't have. I was able to tour their independent living community, and I like it. They were very nice and new. I think they built it in 2017. The staff was also very nice. They really want to give the spot to me, so it's not their fault. They also showed me the apartment and explained how everything works."

"They were very pleasant here and gave me a tour. My first impression was I'd rather not be there, but it was clean, light, and airy. I saw a person there that I knew, and she said she was satisfied. They had a music class and singing around the piano."

"I toured The Sanctuary, a Mount Jezreel Senior Housing Community, and I like it. It is really good. It is nice and large. I like the floors, the bathroom, and the shower. I like everything. They put a new microwave in there. They have a lot of outdoor space. There is a huge parking lot that goes all the way around the building. It's got a lot of wood and stuff. It's really, really nice around there. I had an interview with them, and I paid the $35 application fee, and I was supposed to be getting a call back from them. It is like a private apartment, and so I guess you buy your own groceries and cook your own food. However, I'm pretty sure if you need some food that they will look out for you. The staff member who gave the tour was very respectful and very thorough with what he showed me."
