It was the best assisted living community that I've seen thus far, it was very warm, it was very personable, and it was very clean. They had great activties that they had prepared, I talked to some of the residents, and they had everything, so the positives definitely outweighed the negatives."

"The tour I had of Heritage at Augsburg's independent living was good. The people I met were friendly. The person who gave the tour was a little busy that day. He had other people and a lot of appointments, but he managed to squeeze me in and showed me a couple of apartments, and they looked good. He's also willing to work with me on an anticipated move-in date if we reach that point. The tour went well. They showed me the library, gym, and arts and crafts room. I also saw the restaurant and the community center room. They even offered me a meal, which was very tasty. It was overcast that day, so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the outside, but the inside of the place was clean and well-kept."

"I found Adoring Care through an agency recommendation. The agent said this is where she would have her own family member live. That statement was 100% accurate. The facility is always clean and decorated like a home. The meals are diverse. I have been is thoroughly pleased with the care my Dad receives at the facility. His needs have required the staff to be very observant and shift how they care for him as he continues to medically declining. Their professionalism and experience comes across when they provide insight on how I can help increase my Dad's quality of life. This is so appreciated because we often are caring for an elder for the first while they have done it for hundreds of patients and residents."

"I toured Wilshire Estates Gracious Retirement Living. The pricing was a bit out of my range. It was a very clean and comfortable place. The staff was very professional and kind. I had no complaints there. They showed me independent living. I got a little taste of assisted living, too. They showed me what that would be like. They showed me around. They gave me a pie to bring home. They have a gym and a movie theater, and I enjoyed that. I got to watch a little bit of a movie."

"I visited the assisted living facility of Aventura at the Heights, and it was beautiful, but it just wasn't for me. It was also too far, and I really wanted to be in the inner city. It was a very nice place, and I enjoyed the tour that I had. The staff was very nice, and from what I could see, the facility was very clean."

"This place is by far the best in Anna Arundel County. Around the clock care, a knowledgeable owner, and great meals. My aunts did respite care here and we ended up keeping her here. The owner and his staff went above and beyond to care for her until she passed. My family and I will be forever grateful for the care my aunt received. My aunt was bed bound ; the team frequently made sure she was turned and had creams applied. "Atrium Village was very nice. The only thing was that their independent apartments didn't have balconies that you could go out. You had to use the elevator for everything. They had a lot of hospitality places on each floor. The person who gave us the tour, Jacob, was very nice. He explained a lot of things to us, and he took us on a tour and we got to see a one-bedroom with a den and then a single bedroom. All of their two-bedroom apartments were taken. The dining area was beautiful. They had a great big entrance section with an eight-foot fireplace in it and sofas that you could come and sit. The dining area was double-sized with individual tables. They had their own chef. They had a light meal section where you could just get whatever you liked or they had their dining room section where you could sit down and have a larger meal at lunchtime or dinnertime. They said both of them are open during the day and then they have a snack bar that you can use as well. They had juices and stuff."

"We went to Victory Crossing. It was very nice; it was clean, they had a lot of activities for seniors, and it was a pretty place. The staff was very accommodating. The lady who communicated with us, it was her first day, so we mainly got most of what we learned about the place from the man who keeps the place clean and does all the repairs and stuff. He had been there the longest. It was very well-staffed; we didn't have to wait long for our appointment, and it's a good place. They have a grocery store. That place was just kind of off the highway. It wasn't near any stores. But they have buses that go to the stores. It was well-kept, and it's good. I like it. I wouldn't mind moving there, but my husband doesn't want to go. It's independent living, but they do have a dining room, a game room, an exercise room, and a lot of different spaces for the seniors."

"We chose this community for mom due to a combination of the staff and the facilities. They went above and beyond, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accepted into their community. I tried both lunch and dinner, and they both were amazing. All of mom's needs would be met there. They've got upgraded apartments and they're spacious. It's very clean, accessible, and convenient."

"Bedford Court has everything my parents need so that they can relax in their retirement years. They have a lovely 2 bedroom apt. with a full kitchen. They are served delicious, healthy meals in the dining room every day. They are close to shopping. Shuttles are available to take them to nearby places. There are activities for them to participate in within the facility and locally. I have peace of mind knowing that they are in a safe environment and if the time arises, they will be able to move into the assisted living community. "

"I toured the assisted living side of Access Care. It was clean and hospitable. The room was comfortable and clean. I could tell that the staff was caring. The person who gave the tour was nice and informative. I think the residents were playing a card game. I saw the activities list."

They had a lot of activities, and the rooms were nice. Everything was great. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, and very helpful. They had a lot of lectures. They had music, physical therapy, and other therapies in the building."
