"Victory Crossing was a nice place. I liked it. The rooms were nice, clean, roomy, and really comfortable. I liked the design. The kitchens were nice, too. It looked like the community was kept much better than the other place we saw. I liked Victory Crossing because you have a washer and dryer in your apartment. I like the convenience of it. Also they have people who come in and and entertain, and they had a bus that takes you on trips."

"We went to see the rehab center of Bedford Court, but they also had assisted living. The staff was nice. It was a smallish facility in that there weren't that many rehab rooms. The staff was very professional and friendly. They showed us the weekly activity schedule."

"I toured Wilshire Estates Gracious Retirement Living. The pricing was a bit out of my range. It was a very clean and comfortable place. The staff was very professional and kind. I had no complaints there. They showed me independent living. I got a little taste of assisted living, too. They showed me what that would be like. They showed me around. They gave me a pie to bring home. They have a gym and a movie theater, and I enjoyed that. I got to watch a little bit of a movie."

"I went to Victory Court Senior Apartments. I like it a lot. It was the perfect space that wasn't too big or too small. It's clean and spotless. They have washers and dryers. They are close to everything. Rockville is really nice place, and it was walking distance to things. It's just nice. There's nothing negative that I have to say about it. For Valentine's Day, they're going to have cheese and wine. They have bingo. They have exercise. I think my friend who lives there said they'll take you on a shuttle to the Amish market. The value for money is very good."

"We will be moving in. It's more assisted living. It is not a nursing home. We get three meals. They have nurses, but they don't have a doctor on call. It's mostly for individuals who are more active and may need some type of assistance here or there. They have Parkinson's classes four days a week. They've been very helpful. We had lunch and dinner there, and the food was excellent. They have menus. It's not a set meal, and you have choices. It's almost like a restaurant."

"The rooms are very spacious! I am looking for a 1 bedroom for just myself. I don’t want a lot of space, but rooms are great sizes. The area has almost everything you need shopping, dinning, church, entertainment, home improvement supplies,metro and parking. At the time I visited the building was quiet, I’m sure there are times when it’s not. But I live inside my apartment. That doesn’t bother me. I like the apartment. I’m still looking but this may be it!!! Take the tour!!!"

"The visit to the House of Lebanon was good. The young lady I spoke with was very kind and polite, which is why I put my confidence in thinking that I would hear from them. It's been almost two weeks now, and I'm not hearing back from anyone. I saw the two-bedroom apartment, which was nice. There was a lot of space in there, which I needed because I have a lot of things. It would have worked out fine for me, but I'm in limbo right now, trying to figure out what's going on. The grounds needed some work done. It was a lot of shrubbery that needed to be trimmed back. It needed some landscaping."

"I went to Golden Rule Plaza. The staff gave me a tour of the gym and the Bible study room, which I was quite interested in. She told me about the transit, if I wanted to catch the bus and go somewhere, where I would find it, and where it would be available. She had put me on the wait list. I toured the laundry room and the fitness room, but I would have to sign paperwork to use the fitness room. She took me to the side patio. She showed me where they park the cars. It was nice and cozy. It's not huge. The manager was very pleasant. I was impressed. I like the facility itself, how many floors, and the dimensions of it. It was a lot personal, and I am a private person. That's why I thought that facility would work for me. Staff members were in the room when I was talking to the manager, and then there was the secretary. Everybody joined in, and they made it a memorable experience."
