I will be moving into Silver Creek Senior Living. It is close to where my son lives, so that made a whole lot of sense to me and made it easier to keep in touch and so on and so forth. It's less than a mile and a quarter from his house, so. It makes life easy. There is a safe way around the corner, there's Chipotle across the street, and the public library is a block and a half away, so all of that makes a lot of sense to me. They have free Wi-Fi for everybody, so that works nicely. I'm starting to get familiar with the neighborhood and so on, but there are a lot of different things within walking distance, so that makes a difference as well. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Physical appearance is very good. It seems to be well kept and well taken care of. There are several restaurants nearby. I read a lot, and the library, being a block and a half away, makes it ideal for me, so I'm very happy with that. There is a business office or an area that can be used for internet connection, and you can do some business there, pay your bills, or that kind of stuff. It's convenient and conducive to being active in your life, so that's good.

When I went to Silver Creek Senior Living, they offered us a 2-bedroom apartment. They said that my brother should get in there, and we were all ready. He put his deposit down and then they told us he didn't qualify for the income after we gave them all his information. The place was really beautiful. It had a bus stop right there. They had a car service. They had a nice little library and little open patios. For the looks and everything, I would give them a 5-star rating. It was a nice place for seniors because they can go to different places. The restaurants were very close by. They were a close walking distance. The facility had meals on wheels, which was nice. Their apartments were very nice for someone who's living independently.

Silver Creek Senior Living was wonderful. It's very nice and clean. The leasing agents were fine. It's a village type of atmosphere. It was very comfortable. I liked the building. They showed me two different types of one-bedroom and a two-bedroom, and they're very nice and clean. These are brand new apartments and I didn't have to worry about cleaning or anything. You have a little balcony attached to it. This was on the third floor and it was very quiet. I could sit outside there. I loved it. They have a community room, an exercise room, a little library that they're building, a sitting area outside the community room that you can sit outside, and you can rent the community room. It's very well put together and very quaint. They did treat me to lunch, which is something they picked up from McDonald's. They also had coffee there in the community room. They were very cordial and very professional. I liked their hospitality. Across the street, you have Safeway and other restaurants that you can go to, so it's very nice. The building is fabulous and the buses run on time there. When you come into the lobby, they have a large screen that shows you a timeframe when the bus is coming to what location. You have three buses that stop there and that's what I love because it just gave me more than one bus that I can commute. I'm just sorry it didn't work out for me.
