My wife and I are residents of Hellenic Senior Living of New Albany. I would give them a 4 because they're a little slow on getting the maintenance, and they have a little trouble keeping employees. Nevertheless, they do things that they really don't have to do, and they do help you out if you need help getting anything. We had eight inches of snow, and they swept it off and cleaned it off for us. That wasn't their assigned job. However, with food, if you had to walk down the same place three times a day, seven days a week, to eat, you would get tired of the place. I'm glad they give me small servings because I'm overweight anyway. I'm just not used to eating the same thing. As a matter of fact, we still go out. We ate three meals out this last week. It gives you a little break from that. Some people say the menu choice was good, and I didn't like it. The place was built for what I need. There are no steps whatsoever that I ever have to take. The only thing I do is drive over a little linoleum. They have a lot of things to do. They have craft days, and they have trips. We went on one thing with them, but I don't jump in with people. I can live with it because we lived out in the country when we were in our home. So I'm satisfied here. I watch television and go to lunch. My wife and I go out to eat. I'd say it was a five for most people because people play bingo. They are not allowed to have money, but you can win boxes of cookies. In one of my part-time jobs, I was an activities director at a campground. One of my jobs is two days a week, I called bingo, but I don't want to play bingo. I was getting paid.

I've been living in Hellenic Senior Living. It was a new building when I moved in here. It's a beautiful building. It's a nice place to be. It's very comfortable. They are being very cautious and very careful with the pandemic. The people here are great. I do most of my own, I'm fairly independent. They have help if I need it. If I call, they'll come and do whatever I need to have done. They clean once a week, they do my laundry, and they serve all my meals. They're trying to keep from getting the virus spread, so we're not doing activities at the present moment. The food, for the most part, is excellent, but everybody's taste is a little bit different. I'm so independent that I don't usually participate in a lot of activities. I'm glad they're here. I can if I want to. If I'm not interested, I don't have to.
