"We're at Meridian Boulder. It is very pleasant and very aesthetic. When we moved in, the room was freshly painted and freshly shampooed. The staff is very friendly. You can talk to any of them at any time if they're in the building. They're very accommodating. You can also hire extra help as you need it or you can let it go if you don't need it. For instance, I can get people to do the laundry or they can fold the clothes, walk the dog, help you with the shower, and so on. They have one or two exercise classes every day except Sunday. They have special program on Sunday. They have current events, discussion groups, and movies every night except when they bingo. The backyard has a big patio and a pond with fish and flowers. They have ducks, geese, and birds come in. They have little gardens you can get and grow your own stuff. "

"We toured Sugar Valley Estates, and my sister loved it. She liked the way the building was built because it had so many windows. She enjoyed the big center opening where the dining room was. She enjoyed some small areas where people could talk and play games. The staff was very friendly. The man who took us through the tour was very helpful, told us everything, and answered any questions we might have had. My sister would have enjoyed the small patio because she was looking at a third floor and would have loved to have a first floor if that had been available so she could go outside her own back door. It was clean, bright, and spacious. The meals were included, and it's three meals a day."

"This is a very nice place. It was okay. Food was very good for dinner. Everyone was very nice. It's an assisted living facility. As you stay there, you don't have to move at all, it goes off into the other ones too. They had a one bedroom, which is a lot bigger than some of the other places. I like the way they had it set up, that was very comfortable. They had very nice staff. "

"The thing that I liked best about Arbor View Senior Living was the buildings sit on a large park-like area. They have 13 acres, and more or less the facilities are in the center of that. So when you look out of any window, what you're looking out at are grass and trees for the most part. It has a nice feeling of spaciousness. And if somebody lived there and was able to get out and walk around, it would be a pleasant place to go for a walk. They had a theater area. They had a fairly spacious, well-kept, and clean dining area. The dining area opened up to a patio. Just beyond the patio-type area was kind of an outdoor area, so they had facilities for barbecues and outdoor parties in a way. Everything seemed comfortable and clean. It looked as if they had done some recent painting. I didn't see anything that looked like it was rundown or unkempt. "

"My wife moved into MorningStar. They are excellent. They are very professional and very thorough. It's modern and the memory care, of course, is isolated. It is very new, very clean, and very well-maintained. It's only a couple of years old. It is expensive, but the value is probably equal to the money."

Cried all the time ...she is 89 , has alittle dementia but love all the activities, the food is great .. and it is centrally located for her friends to visit . God helped us find her a great palce small // like 36 beds/ but home away from home ... Praise be to God . "

"I have chosen Balfour Senior Living because it's very beautiful. Their staff is very nice. The food is excellent. It's the most beautiful place you'll ever see. There's a saltwater swimming pool. The staff members have been wonderful. They're outstanding."

"I couldn't be happier knowing my loved one is in Hover Manor, Independent Living. I have experienced the changes that have occurred over the past 10 years. The staff have been WONDERFUL! Yes, there have been times they are short staffed, as with any place, but they have done an amazing job of compensating and are truly caring individuals. The rooms are very nice -spacious, clean and modern, and there is a cord that can be pulled in the bedroom or bathroom that gives an added sense of security. The rooms may not be "luxurious", but the VALUE more than compensates . There are Many activities - book club, Wii Golf, Bridge, Dominoes, Pinochle, crafts, Discovery group, Bingo, Exercise...that is just a drop in the bucket. They have monthly meetings to keep communication open with the residents and provide a very reasonably priced van and bus to take residents to the grocery, doctor appointments, etc. There has been a challenge in the kitchen with recent turnovers... but the staff jumped in and did a great job for being so short staffed. They are back up to full staff now. They have a daily "special", but residents also have a menu with lots of alternatives to choose from. I feel there is an effort to provide healthy meals with variety. I know they have added additional washers/dryers on the main floor, and are available 7 days a week. The staff continue to work at making improvements while trying to keep the cost reasonable. I would give Hover Manor 6 stars if I could...."
