"I recently had my mother at this facility. She was not doing well upon admitting here, but when she left she was back to her old self. The staff were all very attentive and caring. The therapists were able to motivate her and get her walking again. I truly am thankful for this facility. "

"I am an 83 year old normally active male who recently had a fall, breaking my hip and requiring a total hip replacement. Following the surgery and a 5 day hospital stay, I transferred to Boulder Canyon Health where I just spent close to 2 weeks in rehab. Boulder Canyon was formerly Boulder Manor which I would say had a less than great reputation in the past, so I was unsure as to what my rehab experience would be. I am pleased to say that under the current ownership, my stay was very positive. The facility has been upgraded, the therapists are professional, and the nurses and aides were all responsive, friendly and caring. I had the feeling that staff trule cared about their patients and enjoyed working here which is not always the case. The rooms vary in size. My room was quite spacious giving me the opportunity to practice walking within it. The food menu was pretty basic but the food quality was very good and the meals were actually quite tasty. Some of the meals were exceptional. Overall, I've been very pleased with my experience at Boulder Canyon. Hopefully, I'm done with rehab for now but if I needed a rehab facility in the future, I would not hesitate to choose Boulder Canyon Health and Rehab."

"My husband was at Winding Trails Post Acute for 2 weeks. They had occupational and physical therapy. There were some excellent nurses. There was a very young excellent nurse there who was working well overtime. The staff was all pretty nice. They were very helpful and very accommodating. But sometimes, I felt like they didn't communicate with each other as well as they should because I had to go to the person who was in charge sometimes to get things coordinated. The place was clean. Their food was good, and they didn't mind me eating with him at all."

"I visited multiple times. We were very interested in it, but the whole idea of committing all of our savings to that place just to get in was a concern. We need to have the freedom to move if we want. They don't have a pool, so we would have eliminated them anyway, but it was an outstanding place. We would have been happy there, with the exception of not having a pool. It's a beautiful place. The staff is excellent. We've met a lot of the staff. We have gone to some events where they have food, we have gone on the tour where they have food, and we have done a get-together with other people on the waiting list where we have had food, and we have been impressed with it. I cannot say anything negative about that place. The facility is excellent. Beautiful ground. Well taken care of. We were going to be in a duplex, which is what we were choosing to go into."

"My husband was a patient at Avamere for six weeks before he died. The facility is very nice, and we were very happy there. They have very good nurses. This place is better when you need more care. They have activities there. Like when they have a birthday party, they have people come and sing, and my husband liked that. They have a lady who would play an accordion and sing, and she was very good. He liked the music. We were in a double room with a young man, and I felt sorry for him because I felt like he probably would like different things than my husband, so if they could get people maybe more the same age, that would help. Their food was good. "

"I think the layout and the upkeep of Life Care Center of Westminster was very good. It was very clean and people seemed to be happy. It was also in a very nice little neighborhood. The staff was very nice and I met three or four people, including the director and a couple of CNAs. They were very friendly and they all interacted with the residents very easily. Actually, at that time, I think they were voting, which was interesting. Some of the residents had gotten a ballot and were voting."

"My friend moved to Arbor View Nursing Home. It's an excellent place. He likes the staff and he likes the food, and they seem to be very caring. It's an older facility, but he's in a private room and he has his bathroom. It has a nice TV, but the building itself is a little shabby. Some people do go out of their rooms into the common spaces, and they're nice. What I like is that they have a very large birdcage where white birds are flying around, sometimes I'd put my friend in his wheelchair down there, and he likes to look at the birds."

"The price was really good at Colorado Lutheran. They have Bingo twice a week, and they take you for rides to different places. The food was very good, and they had different menus every day. "

"A++ My 86 yr old mother was admitted mid Jan 22. She could barely walk, speak, feed herself, or function mentally and I thought she was actively dying. The entire administration (but especially Sissy and Andy) was extremely helpful in getting her set up with the appropriate care plan. Her doctor and nurses were open to taking her off medications I thought were contributing to her confusion and she has made a near miraculous recovery mentally. Additionally the daily rehab on her knee has been extremely helpful and she is walking better than she has in a year. I now believe she has many good years ahead of her and will be moving her to assisted living when the rehab on her knee and wrist are completed. Out of the 3 rehab facilities with the same knee issue in the last year, Accel’s rehab has been far superior. I truly believe Accel saved her life. "

"Clear Creek Care Center is a nursing home that is small and very intimate. It seems like the patients there would have one on one care with their staff. What I liked about this facility is that instead of having curtains divide for the shared rooms, they are now building wall to separate the patients and that made it almost an independent room. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I love the way they have pets roam around and I think that helps with the seniors living there. The food is very good. What I did not like about this facility is that it's located in an old neighborhood and I wasn't really sure about that part of town. "

"My uncle moved into The Villas At Sunny Acres. They are very wonderful. They have a caring staff. They have drawing, coloring, music, prayer, movies, snacks, and walks outside. The residents seem to like the food. They take precautions to make sure no one gets in or out without the nurses, staff, or senior staff knowing it. My uncle's room is big and clean. The room is divided by a bathroom that they share, but he has his own sink, mirror, and closet. It's quite spacious. They have a dining area, a TV area, and a little game area, and it connects to an outside patio, which is humongous. From the admission to the CNA staff, house cleaning, and laundry person, they are all very good at what they do. They are very polite, courteous, and very professional. They go above and beyond their regular duties."
