I am an 83 year old normally active male who recently had a fall, breaking my hip and requiring a total hip replacement. Following the surgery and a 5 day hospital stay, I transferred to Boulder Canyon Health where I just spent close to 2 weeks in rehab. Boulder Canyon was formerly Boulder Manor which I would say had a less than great reputation in the past, so I was unsure as to what my rehab experience would be. I am pleased to say that under the current ownership, my stay was very positive. The facility has been upgraded, the therapists are professional, and the nurses and aides were all responsive, friendly and caring. I had the feeling that staff trule cared about their patients and enjoyed working here which is not always the case. The rooms vary in size. My room was quite spacious giving me the opportunity to practice walking within it. The food menu was pretty basic but the food quality was very good and the meals were actually quite tasty. Some of the meals were exceptional. Overall, I've been very pleased with my experience at Boulder Canyon. Hopefully, I'm done with rehab for now but if I needed a rehab facility in the future, I would not hesitate to choose Boulder Canyon Health and Rehab.

Our mother is a patient at Boulder Manor, now called Boulder Canyon since ownership changed. She is in the dementia wing where attention to her medical, dietary, nursing, health, physical, emotional and personal needs are all met. Amazing to us is the work and attention and awareness that is put into preventing this group of ladies from feeling bored, lonely, alone, scared or frustrated is a huge blessing. This life engagement coordinator also has a fun, silly and uplifting side and her activities and interactions with these ladies show! We love the festivity brought during holidays, events and other of her 'special occasions'. We are regularly updated on our mother’s health and well being and we can call anytime that I want. Our family is both lucky and blessed.

I have a very good friend that moved into this facility and has been very please with it. His last facility was very disappointing and was unsure about moving, since that time he is very happy he made the commitment and discision to relocate. The facility is cleaner, the food is better, and staff is more accommodating! Thanks, Mike

The daily activities are particularly impressive to me. A wide variety is offered several times a day from Black Jack to listening to live classical piano. What especially caught my attention was the tender care and patience the staff gives the clients. They seem to have a special sense as to who needs what - a drink of water - a blanket adjusted, etc. Good job activities staff! You go above and beyond and make my days more enjoyable.

Of all of them I’ve looked at so far, I like it the best. The rooms were nice. We ate some good food there. I liked the staff, who were all very nice. It looked like they had a lot of different activities for men and women, like zumba and bingo, a bunch of card games, and people who come in to play music and tell stories.
