My mother lived at Alpine for the last 9 months of her life during some of the darkest days of the Coronavirus pandemic. Because of COVID restrictions, activities were restricted and most of my interactions with staff at Alpine were remote. I called frequently and it was clear that all staff knew her and could give me an update. More importantly, staff there knew her not just as a patient but as an individual. They knew and were attentive to her personal likes and dislikes. When it was clear she was entering the final stages of her life, they cared for her in a genuinely loving way by playing her favorite music, touching her frequently, and using their personal cell phones to enable me and other family to say goodbye. My mother liked the food there, and often requested and received second helpings of food, especially desserts! The rooms may be utilitarian, but the quality of care is outstanding. If you want not just care but competent caring for your loved one, go to Alpine.

My mother was a resident at this facility she was taken care of by the staff and the nurses there My overall experience with this facility is terrible to say the least my mother became sick I don't know how long she was sick but by the time she got to the hospital she was septic and within hours I lost my mom at the time my mom's condition she had sores around her private area ear wax center ears so bad it looks like a little black pebbles that fell out and her hair was so matted that it looked like she was starting to have a dreads in the back of her hair I don't know why it took them so long to realize my mother was sick or why they waited all I know is that somebody waited too long and I lost my mother because of it personally the nurses are nice the staff is nice but the assistance that this nursing home offers is a place I would never recommend to anyone

My mom is at Alpine Living Center. It is frustrating. I'm happy with the nurses, but I'm not happy with the staff. The first room they put her in was nice, but I'm not happy with the second room they transferred her to. I haven't tasted the food. My mom hasn't complained about the food. She seems fine with the food. The surroundings are very bare. There's nothing out. You go into their rooms, otherwise, you're in a hallway and there's nothing else. When I put her in there, I wasn't looking for activities. My mom was in such bad shape, we thought that we were going to lose her at any point. She's not dealing with any activity, so I don't know what their activities are.

I love this place. I have lived here for 13 years. The staff are good. They treat me good. The place makes me feel warm.

Deeply regret moving my Mother into Alpine. She was very weak and was told to call for help to go to restroom. Forced to urinate on herself three times because of no response to call light! Slow response to call light a constant problem. Failed to obtain one prescription med after I was told it would be there. Came a day late. Not a place I would not recommend to anyone! Ever!

We visited Alpine Living Center for about an hour and a half and got out of there. They had nice landscaping, and that was it; everything else was terrible. It was noisy, and nobody attended to the patients. They wrapped a belt around my wife and dropped her in the bed, and a woman came in and we asked for water, but she never came back. They were supposed to give her medication, but they said they didn’t have her medication. She'd have to wait until they got it in the pharmacy, so we got out of there.

My dad was here for one week for respite care. When we checked him out at the end of his week, he has pink eye and an upper respiratory infection. We had to ask the PA to look at my dad before we checked him out. No one notified the PA that there was anything wrong.

I had therapy after knee replacement in Feb. 2011. I was there for 22 days. the people there are caring and helpful. it was like a mini vacation for me with exercises for my knee included each day. a spacious room, quiet, a better experience than a health spa could ever give. when it is time for replacement of my other knee, I will be requesting to go there again. the thearpists and all the other workers are really wonderful.
