"My father was in Bonaventure of Thornton. They had adequate staffing for the residents. The residential population in memory care was pretty low, between 20 and 30, and they had two to three staff available at all times. They had their own dining area, which was nice. His apartment was very nice. The staff was very caring and respectful. The facility was fairly new and very well kept. It's easy to access. The memory care unit actually has its own entrance with its own separate parking. The layout was very nice. It's clean. I loved that they had a lot of antiques and vintage things in their hallways. It was really nicely done. They had at least one activity room that was separate. What was also very nice was that they could go into the assisted living and independent living area, which was attached, if they wanted to. They could also dine there if they just wanted a change of pace. They had so much access, like more areas to walk and to socialize. Of course the independent and assisted living had its own activity areas as well. They have a little movie theater, a couple of bowling lanes, a crafts room, and an exercise room. All of that was also available to memory care folks. The food was really good. The staff was extremely accommodating. It was an excellent value for the money. He loved it there."
