"We went to Brookdale Meridian Arvada. The people that we met were very nice, but it was a little more than we wanted to pay. It seems like they had several outings and activities for the residents. We liked their marketing staff; they're the main ones that we met. The building itself was very nice."

"My visit at Balfour was very positive. The location appealed to us because it was in the heart of Denver, so that was the reason we chose this community. It has a friendly atmosphere and there are outside activities that we could go to. We like the park because we have a dog and there's a coffee shop around the corner."

"We chose Arbor View Senior Living because the other places we found cost close to double Arbor View and they don't charge extra for the level of care. They come in three times a day and check your blood pressure, oxygen level, and temperature. They bring you your meals right now during COVID because there's no dining services. I felt better about this place. There were other places that were nice, but they were way more than we could afford. A friend and I were walking outside on the day when we were out there, though I never actually went into the facility. She was impressed with it and her mother had lived there for five years before. Based on her opinion, I would highly rate it, or else she wouldn't have given up her home and moved over there."

"This assisted living was fantastic, all of the amenities and all of the staff were wonderful and my uncle enjoyed his visit. My uncle is a tough critic and was very hesitant about being put in a care facility so he was going into the facility with his guard up. By the time he left he was completely satisfied. Overall the staff were great and gave my uncle regular visits and made him feel more at ease and less lonely. The food was very good and my uncle enjoyed the pot roast and the shrimp. The gym was large and spacious and there were a couple physical therapists for the seniors. Overall this was a fantastic facility that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great care facility that won't break the bank or cost a large sum of money. One final note is that the rooms were very spacious and all featured a large flat screen television set. The bathrooms were also very large and spacious. "

"This place is very good, I live here for 12 months and has great affection and haste with 2 employees who are exceptional Patrícia P. from the administration and Juan D., they are friendly and attentive people, they never fail to serve me quickly and always with a positive result ! I recommend this place for anyone to live, although the value is quite salty!"

"My dad is doing very well at MorningStar of Arvada Independent Living. It's a great place. It's an amazing community. The level of care and the things they did for my mom in memory care within 24 hours was amazing. They supported my dad throughout the process and made sure that when my mom did pass away, they right away helped him find an independent living suite there so we could just move things from memory care without having to find another whole place. The place is beautiful with lots of things planned for residents to do. Everyone there is very kind and nurturing. When you walk in the place, it feels good and right. I cannot say enough good things about it. The food was delicious, great, and healthy. They have a chef who helps people with whatever specific needs they may have and he will cook specific things. They have lots of choices. The place is like a 5-star hotel so it really is nice. They have Happy Hour, meet and greet, painting classes, movie nights, game nights, take them out on a bus to different places within the community, concerts, and they have choirs coming in. It is expensive, but looking at other places, this place is well worth it because it's brand new."

"This is a great community that is active and well maintained. I have a grandfather that lived here and would recommend it to others. Staff is all been there a long time and was very responsive to when care needs changed. I appreciated having the multiple levels of care all in the same community which you don't find in many others. They offer, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care there - my grandfather utilized several of them over the time he was there. Apartments are larger then most other communities we toured and the cost was less the a lot that we viewed. He wasn't super social, but there was always things going on - he did love the food. Happy with our choice of this community!! "

"I went to tour Brookdale University Park Colorado. The location is pretty good, the unit I saw was nice, and they had nice people. It's centrally located where my children live and the neighborhood itself is pretty good. There's a nice garden, patio, there were conference rooms, and an internet café. They offer some options as far as care, if my mom's health goes downhill, they're able to make some adjustments to their service. The guy that helped us out had a lot of experience in dealing with the exact situation that we're dealing with at the moment. He was polite and knowledgeable and all that."

"I have chosen them for my husband. I like that it's more of a home-type setup. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. They made me feel at ease. Activities were going on and it was a more free-moving situation. We saw one-bedroom apartments and they were good. They provided privacy to the individuals, which gives them a level of dignity. We went to the dining room and then there was a TV room and we got to see the outside area. There's a deck with a grill and table and chairs and then there's a garden area and a very large backyard. I was quite impressed with that. I liked it. The facility was quite clean. We saw the memory care and I liked that it was very secure. You couldn't go in and out, and the doors were locked down. Everything worked out as far as my needs, my husband's needs, and location."

The location is central"”right off Federal and 112trh, which is a main road with easy access, and there is ample parking for visitors. The rooms are bigger than in most other assisted living facilities, with a lot of windows. There are independent living apartments here as well as assisted living"”again with really big room, patios, and almost full kitchens, as opposed to the usual kitchens that have a dormlike look and feel. All of the residents I've talked with say the food is just great, with a lot of healthy choices available daily. Because the place is so new, however, the quality of care is still to be determined. The staff is on top of safety"”watching who goes in and out. But here, as opposed to other places, it seems more difficult to track down nurses and other medical professionals who have specific information about residents' conditions. The scheduled activities are very good"”tai chi and all kinds of exercise classes, along with shopping outings, a book club, church gatherings and speakers on all sorts of topics. There is also a putting green built right in to the front of the facility, which is novel and an attraction for many residents. There are exercise classes and an instructor who can supervise residents, as well as updated equipment that everyone there can use. They also have a little pool. Another plus is that there is a good memory facility. It is a very roomy locked unit with nurses there constantly"”and residents are encouraged to do many stimulating activities, plenty of interaction. Keystone Place may be best suited for those who are fairly mobile and independent. The cost of care and housing is fairly pricey compared with other facilities in the area. "

"I thought Brookdale Tamarac Square was beautiful and very clean. It looked like it would be a great place for my mother-in-law to live in or even myself. "

"Quincy Place was a little too modern for my taste, but well I chose it because I could smoke in my room, and they -- like every other place I looked at -- have the help with the physical conditions. They handle the sheets and the towels, clean the apartment, and they help with transportation -- those things that I need that I can’t do for myself anymore. I think the management is what I like best about it because I felt comfortable with them. I really didn’t care about the activities. I have a chronic neck condition, and there are things I can’t do physically, so I needed to find some place that could help me out with those things, and they could. Again, I could smoke there, which was a very important thing to me. "
