"I visited Park Regency's memory care. What discouraged me from their location was that people can use wheelchairs or electric wheelchairs, but they have to be able to get up out of bed by themselves and walk across the room. They don't do any two-handed lifting in this facility at all, so if you’re in a situation where you need that kind of help, they’re not the facility to go to. The community was very clean, new, and very nice. To me, they specialize more in assisted living with meals. This is the place we really wanted to put my loved one into because of the location, and it is a new facility, but it doesn’t meet with what we needed for her care. The staff was very sweet and very nice. I liked them. The facility was really, really nice. They had a very large, clean dining area with reasonable serving hours. "

"I wanted a smaller for-profit location, and I chose Sunrise of Westminster because they were highly rated. The lady, Nicki, who gave the tour was fabulous. The facility was not as large and didn't have as many amenities as the others, but their main focus was on the quality of life of the residents, such as they will match different residents together that have common interests to get them more engaged and to form relationships, and that was rather unique and I liked that. Instead of putting their money in amenities, they chose to focus more on residents and thereby improve their quality of life. The lady was very interested in details about my mother and her likes and her preferences, and a little bit about her. She probably did a more thorough intake than I had ever experienced. It showed me from the beginning she wanted to know who my mother was. They had a mix of a studio and one-bedroom quarters and they were adequate. Their common areas were very warm in the decor. They were very inviting. They want people out of their rooms as much as possible to mix with other residents. We looked at the food menus, and they all seemed really nice. They have a fireplace as you walk in, which is one of the warm greeting things. They have a piano in the main room. They had stations for playing cards. They had something that I thought was unique, and that was the covered outside area, so it was enclosed, but it was apart from the main area. You had to go through a door and that's for you just to watch the birds and the squirrels in a separate place. It wasn't in the residence and it wasn't out (it was in between)."

"This place is very good, I live here for 12 months and has great affection and haste with 2 employees who are exceptional Patrícia P. from the administration and Juan D., they are friendly and attentive people, they never fail to serve me quickly and always with a positive result ! I recommend this place for anyone to live, although the value is quite salty!"

"I like Brookdale Arvada (Sterling House of Arvada) very much. They offer a wide variety of services. The people are very nice, and everybody goes above and beyond. Both my parents need special care, and they are able to get it. The way they treat them is very good. The rooms are small, but they are very nice and very updated. Everything is nice. They are doing well there. They have good food. "

"I toured Arbor View Senior Living. It's all on one level, with no stairs to climb. The rooms and the patio doors are open, and they can walk right outside or let their dogs out. The staff was very friendly and nice. The building's old but it's still nice. It has a nice and quiet atmosphere. The seniors and staff were friendly. The rooms were pretty large. The dining area was clean."

"I went to Jaxpointe Assisted Living Saulsbury Court Memory Care Homes. It's wonderful. It's absolutely beautiful. It's well taken care of, but it is just too expensive. And they're not willing to work with us as far as money wise. I was able to see individual private rooms and double rooms. The whole place was wonderful."

"The Peaks at Old Laramie Trail was very welcoming and nice. The place is clean and homey. The person who gave us the tour was fabulous and great. The room I saw looked smaller, but it was great, very clean and looked like someone could live there with no problem."

"My Dad has moved into Gardens Care Senior Living - Majestic View. I liked it because it's a residential home with only 11 residents. There are two caregivers and the caregiver who oversees everything has been there for 16 years. It's a family environment. My dad has a bedroom and a full bath. I love their house manager and primary caretaker, and I like most of the staff. There's one person that's okay. They have meals and snacks, and activities. Everything is included. They have really good food, compared to most of the places. For activities, they do cross and have discussions. They also do devotions and Bible study, and they go for a walk."

"Sunrise at FlatIrons didn't have anything available soon, which was what I wanted. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful. They provide three meals a day and the place looked very organized. They had no pool, but they had transportation to go swimming, which is important to me. It looked like they had a lot of activities, too."

"Rocky Mountain is a new, nice, and lovely facility. They were very helpful and showed us around. I liked the location, and my church was close to them. The apartments were very small but had big bathrooms without showers, so people won't fall."

I am looking for my Sister place who needed help and support like a family, The Verandas is a good fit and I am moving my Sister.
