"We toured Pine Grove Crossing, and it's just average like all the places. It's nothing overly special, but it was fine. Debbie was very nice. She's our salesperson, and she did a good job. She was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and very good. We had lunch, and the food was nothing to write home about, but it was fine. We just had the one meal of the day, but they did have a lot of good things on the menu. What I liked is that they let you eat any time of day. There wasn't breakfast time, lunchtime, or dinner time. The residents could come any time of day. They served breakfast all day, and I thought that was nice. They had three different kinds of rooms. They had a studio, single bedroom, and double bedroom. The single bedroom could come with two toilets or the same thing with the double. So, there was a lot of variety."

"Our visit to Serenity House went well. We met Mike at the door, and we took a tour of the place. It seemed very homey. It had a nice feel when we walked in, it seems like a place where my mom wants to be. They have games and stuff."

They have exercises and activities for the residents, but every place we visited had all of those too. So it came down to the fact that it had assisted living, memory care, and nursing care available in one facility. The amenities of the rooms were much nicer than the other facilities we toured. The staff did everything right, and she was great. The facility was excellent. The dining room is comfortable and not fancy."

"Lighthouse Assisted Living - Elizabeth House was really good. The size was good. The people were friendly. The activities were good. It had a nice backyard. It was good overall. They take them out to activities, they would bring musicians in, and they play music for them, like piano and violin for two hours or something like that."

"I visited 15+ assisted living communities in the Denver Metro area for my wonderful 82 year-old mother with Moderate Dementia. I had to relocate her from Florida to Colorado so she could be near me. I chose Caley Ridge for several reasons: first and foremost, they are one of the few that accept Medicaid after a 2-year private pay. Mom's money will run out in a few years and I'd hate to move her again! Caley Ridge is very pleasant - not too big, not too small! Their activities director, Ray Price, is an absolute gem and everyone loves him. The activities there are many, and the residents I talked to all liked it there very much. The apartments are bright, nice-sized, and well-equipped. The staff is great, and they include the families in all their activites! Mom is happy here - I guess that is the best thing. :) "

"Serenity House got a good rating on the state of Colorado website so we chose it for my mom. It's a lovely place. The staff are helpful and nice. We were able to get a big room. My mom says the food is good. I liked everything about this facility. They have bingo, arts and crafts, trips to Black Hawk, they have religious services, and they also have physical therapy. I would recommend this facility to anyone. "

"Serenity House, S. Iola Way was clean and smelled good. They had long-term employees there. They have gardening and a rotating weekly visit from a physical therapist. They do crafts and excursions outside of the home. They had very nicely outfitted bathrooms, and various types of handicap equipment in the rooms, as well as in the bathrooms. They had a big, beautiful deck yard, multiple outdoor spaces, and nice gathering rooms or common areas."
