"My dad is at The Center At Northridge, and everyone's been real nice at helping him. He really likes it there. I think he would have liked to stay there if he could, but obviously he can't because he's just there for rehab. I met a lot of the staff, the physical therapists, the nutritionist, and the speech therapist. They were all very, very helpful, very informative, attended to his needs, and answered all my questions. If he needed something, I could simply speak to them , they would pass it on, and it always got done and got followed up with. It's a very nice facility. They were very good with the laundry, and his room was always clean. He is also always clean. They even had an on-site barber/beautician to clean them all up and give them a haircut. There's a lot of good people there, and the whole experience is very pleasant and very professional. The food is also great. I think my dad was always having fun filling out the menus. He really enjoyed the food they offered and the variety. For the facility itself, it's very nice and it's very well maintained, so I think it's a good value. You get what you pay for. The few people that I met that were also doing rehab, seemed quite pleased with it as well."

"My sister needed to be transferred, so I had her moved to Woodridge Terrace. The place was situated in a bad part of town. I did not like the nursing staff since they would never answer the phone. It would just keep ringing. She was in a very small room with a window way up high with blue drapes that kept out all of the light. It looked like a very old place, like a VA hospital. The food was good, though. "

"My mother lived at Alpine for the last 9 months of her life during some of the darkest days of the Coronavirus pandemic. Because of COVID restrictions, activities were restricted and most of my interactions with staff at Alpine were remote. I called frequently and it was clear that all staff knew her and could give me an update. More importantly, staff there knew her not just as a patient but as an individual. They knew and were attentive to her personal likes and dislikes. When it was clear she was entering the final stages of her life, they cared for her in a genuinely loving way by playing her favorite music, touching her frequently, and using their personal cell phones to enable me and other family to say goodbye. My mother liked the food there, and often requested and received second helpings of food, especially desserts! The rooms may be utilitarian, but the quality of care is outstanding. If you want not just care but competent caring for your loved one, go to Alpine."

"I recently had my mother at this facility. She was not doing well upon admitting here, but when she left she was back to her old self. The staff were all very attentive and caring. The therapists were able to motivate her and get her walking again. I truly am thankful for this facility. "

"My husband was at PowerBack Rehabilitation Lafayette. Every time we were there the nurses were good, even when he was rebelling, and they usually came in right away. It's a new building with a nice lobby. However, one staff member -- who was kind of a supervisor -- was not comforting when the patients were released. When the therapy plateaued, they told me that they would move him to a nursing home. When we complained about the location being too far (because I don't drive), she said that it's the only place that would take Medicaid. After considering it and the negative feedback from a friend about that nursing home, we told them we didn't want to move my husband there. Then she told me we better figure out where we want to put him or they would put him the car and we could just take him home. She was a real sharp-mouthed woman. They don't give you any comfort. They called a meeting with the director, the Medicaid lady, and the social worker, and none of them were comforting. They said that they were waiving the second month fee because everything had been done wrong with my husband. From day one the primary physician and everyone all the way down the line did everything wrong with him. The lady following up on the Medicaid was cold and the upper management was all very rude. He had a private room there that was bigger than what he has now. The nurses and aides were nice, but not the upper management. Overall, between the building and nurses, it was good, it was humane, and the physical therapy was good. My husband complained at the end that when he called them they wouldn't come, and he fell twice while he waited. The place itself was nice, clean, and new. They gave the residents ground food which didn't have any flavor."

"They have spacious private rooms, excellent physical and occupational therapist, and even respiratory therapist that are there 24/7. The building is gorgeous and clean and the in-house coffee shop is an added bonus. I have had many loved ones here for rehab and they were all very pleased with their rehab."

"I have to write a review because this place has does wonders for my mother. My mother came from a nursing home in Iowa that fed her full of drugs. They closed their doors and I brought my mother to Colorado. A nurse friend referred me to Clear Creek and we could not be happier. My mother is the happiest she has been in years. She is narcotic free and the doctors are absolutely wonderful. The staff is so friendly with her and with me when I visit. My mother loves the music, bingo and interaction with other residents. We couldn't ask for better. Thank you Clear Creek!!"

"My mom is a resident of Colorado State Veterans Home at Fitzsimons. I know they're very new, but I'm satisfied. It's a facility full of retired soldiers and their spouses, and women soldiers. And that's why we chose that because she's the widower of a veteran and we were getting help from the government. The rooms are very spacious. They're clean and light. She has everything she needs there. The staff is very good. She is taken care of by the staff there at night and during the day hospice comes to check on her. She has physical therapy, music, and doctors. They have all kinds of activities. They have little birds and butterflies. They also have Bible studies. The patients are quite in the outdoors a lot - sitting outdoors, getting sun. Their patio is nice."

"I think the layout and the upkeep of Life Care Center of Westminster was very good. It was very clean and people seemed to be happy. It was also in a very nice little neighborhood. The staff was very nice and I met three or four people, including the director and a couple of CNAs. They were very friendly and they all interacted with the residents very easily. Actually, at that time, I think they were voting, which was interesting. Some of the residents had gotten a ballot and were voting."

"My husband moved to Balfour Retirement Community. The facility was very nice. I'm impressed with the way they care for him. He has CNAs that are always there. He has a call button whenever he asks for a care assistant. The dining was very good. My husband likes the food. He was comfortable there. His room was big. It was a single and a private room. They do supply the hospital beds, but we move in our own furniture. They do a good job of keeping the place very clean and tidy. They have a whole daily program for people to participate, including the people in the skilled nursing facility and assisted living. They have good live music programs. The food was freshly prepared and well done. They have chair exercises. They have other activities that are more mentally stimulating, like doing crossword puzzles or playing bingo."

"I visited multiple times. We were very interested in it, but the whole idea of committing all of our savings to that place just to get in was a concern. We need to have the freedom to move if we want. They don't have a pool, so we would have eliminated them anyway, but it was an outstanding place. We would have been happy there, with the exception of not having a pool. It's a beautiful place. The staff is excellent. We've met a lot of the staff. We have gone to some events where they have food, we have gone on the tour where they have food, and we have done a get-together with other people on the waiting list where we have had food, and we have been impressed with it. I cannot say anything negative about that place. The facility is excellent. Beautiful ground. Well taken care of. We were going to be in a duplex, which is what we were choosing to go into."

"My husband transferred from hospital to University Heights Care Center in Oct with a terminal diagnosis and with hospice care. The care the facility provided was wonderful, all the staff was very caring and courteous in all departments. I spent every day there from morning until night with my husband. The care was consistent, the meds given in a timely manner, the CNA's treated my husband like family, despite his physically lashing out. Housekeeping cleaned and truly cared about the environment and my husband. Dietary staff, laundry, maintenance, floor techs, administrative staff, reception, activities all greeted me by name and always asked about my husband's wellbeing. If I could give more stars to this facility I would. 5 doesn't seem like enough for the love I felt every time I walked in the door."

" My husband suffers from dementia and entered Summit two months ago. I visit him daily. I watch him with the staff. I watch the staff with other patients. I see that it is hard work to care for patients who do not understand most directions and cannot use logic to evaluate an act. I watch a staff member return a patient to his or her chair five to six times while getting ready for a meal. Sometimes the staff dances a little with the patient while leading the patient to the chair. It makes the act a pleasure. When I ask staff about my husband's day that has happened so far they answer with detail. They tell me that his shower went well that morning, how the blood pressure is for the day, whether he had a good night's sleep, and what he's been doing. They talk with me for a while and since we've slowly gotten to know each other, they ask about me too, as I ask about them. They ask how I'm doing and about my children and grandchildren. I ask about their lives outside of work. We are becoming a part of the community, which I value, since I have given these professional people the trust for my husband's care. In the two months I have been coming to this good place, I have seen an incredible amount of kindness and respect along with professional approaches given to my husband and the other patients. I feel very lucky that there was one bed available when we needed it. I believe that this facility follows the quote by the Buddha: "Life is so very difficult. How can we be anything but kind." I am grateful. "

"My experience at St. Paul has been good. The people are very friendly. Staff treats me very well and the therapy I've received here is good and they are very helpful in helping me recover and get my life back. "
