Woodridge Park Nursing and Rehabilitation

My sister needed to be transferred, so I had her moved to Woodridge Terrace. The place was situated in a bad part of town. I did not like the nursing staff since they would never answer the phone. It would just keep ringing. She was in a very small room with a window way up high with blue drapes that kept out all of the light. It looked like a very old place, like a VA hospital. The food was good, though.

This facility keeps changing it's name to try to get away from it's bad reputation. However, the ownership has not changed. The facility is owned by Pinnacle Health Facilities XVI, L.P. of Texas. The Staff is the bottom of the scrap bucket. They refuse to comply with court orders and the law. They fail to provide basic services like Dental care even when required. They went several years with no dentist at all. My father's teeth could have been saved if he had the dental care his dentist prescribed. But, even after a court battle it took more than a year. At one care conference they didn't even have note in his large file that any dental work was needed. He did have note that he was on a soft food diet because of pain in his mouth. And all this was after care conferences where dental work was discussed and the court battle. They must have just forgotten. Now my father is having issues because his medication is not stabalized. This place needs to close. And the facility is refusing to comply with the Court Order that I participat in care conferences if I wish.
