"The very first one we saw was The Stratford. It's quite an elegant place. It presents very nicely. It's very nice and clean. The units are a little bit on the small side, but very nice, and they have (I think) 11 floors, so it's a high rise, and they have nice views. Everything about it seemed very nice. The staff who accommodated me was very nice and very accommodating. She answered questions and gave us materials to bring home. She followed up by asking questions online to see if I had any more questions, which was good. We were looking at larger units, so we saw a two-bedroom unit. The second bedroom was kind of small, but it's an older building and I think the older buildings don't have as large units. They also have parking for people that still have cars. One of the things about The Stratford is that the places are condominiums. So you buy a unit as if you're living in a condominium, so it's a different model. Most of them, you're renting a room by the month, and you pay an entrance fee. Whereas at The Stratford, you own the unit, and you pay a condominium fee like you would in a condominium building. Some people might like that, but we didn't really like that model. The location is very good because it's across from a city park. The ambiance of the area is quite good."
