I went to Bethesda Home. The place was nice. The location was good. The lady was very professional. The place looked clean. It looked very nice and peaceful.

Though we are a Christian-based community, we welcome those from a variety of faiths and backgrounds.
Our charming landscaped grounds provide residents with a sense of serenity. Flower beds burst with bright colorful flowers, and there are even beds reserved for those who enjoy gardening, so residents help contribute to the beauty. Soak in the sunshine and take in the fresh air on our patio, or gather with other residents in our family-style living room. At Bethesda Christian Retirement Center, youre not seen as just another resident, youre seen as family.
Finding the proper balance of freedom and assistance can be difficult. At Bethesda Christian Retirement Center, we encourage all residents to exercise their independence as we remain close by to offer assistance as necessary. Our fully licensed staff consists of over 65 employees, so youll receive excellent, around-the-clock care.
For those in need of more advanced assistance, we offer a wide array of services for an assortment of needs, including ambulatory, incontinence, and diabetic care. We also provide assistance with daily living activities and medication management. Residents with rehabilitative needs get the attention they need, as we work with local therapists to coordinate programs for physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

I visited Bethesda Home. I didn't like the hours to visit, but I liked the accommodation. The lady I met with was very helpful. The cleanliness was good. The structure of the building was good, but it was kind of dark. It wasn't very bright. The rooms were very tiny.

I toured Bethesda Home. They have an outdoor garden, and the least I liked least is that the place is dated. They showed the cafeteria, the lobby, and the care rooms. The staff was decent. Their reception service needs to be improved and their place needs renovation.

Bethesda Home was a very nice place. We just couldn't afford it. They were very, very personable, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and very well-kept. The rooms and the dining area were very comfortable.

Bethesda is a lovely place to live! The majestic redwood trees towers over this facility. As I walk down an isle in the garden that blooms with colorful roses, a bench in the garden to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Some residents there can plant their own vegetable garden or flower garden. On special occasions there are picnics outdoors. During Christmas time the trees are decorated with festive lights. Inside I've seen the residents there paint, play bingo, participate in singing activities. The residents there are content, and eat well. They are happy! There are pets allowed to roam around the facility, such as: birds, cats, and a fish tank. Occasionally the home will provide a large dog with its owner for a visit for the residents for social activities. Bethesda is fun and has a supportive environment.
