My father was at Lincolnshire Assisted Living. It was a smaller place with only 20 rooms. It was a very lovely ranch style home. It was purchased by two brothers and they had to renovate it because it was in very sad condition. One of them lived on the property. I've never met two people who are just so engaged in making sure that staff and residents were comfortable, and they were always available for them. They ensured that people were getting good and healthy food prepared fresh every day. They had activities for the residents. They had wonderful staff who really cared about the residents. Round the clock help was available in case anyone fell or needed any diaper changing. The place was very clean. It was a very homey feeling, not institutional at all. Most of the rooms were similar in size, and there's a hookup for television, but they also had television in the main area so that people don't have to just be in their rooms. They had music entertainment coming in, whether it was singers, dancers, or children playing musical instruments. They also had magicians come in. They had people playing games if they wanted to play games. You could have a small dog walk around the grounds. The grounds were very nicely kept and it felt very safe. There was a screened in porch for those who want to sit outside.

CAREGIVER TO RESIDENT RATIO: Lincolnshire Assisted Living has a low number of residents to available caregivers. Depending upon the requirement, we offer 1-2 caregivers for 5-7 residents. BED AND BREAKFAST ASSISTED LIVING: Lincolnshire Assisted Living offers a Bed and Breakfast style assisted living home. Caregivers are available to assist with any needs that may arise. FLEXIBLE SHOWER SCHEDULE: Larger facilities often have very rigged bathing schedules. At our home, we offer a customized shower schedule. OPEN DINING: Our cozy assisted living home offers flexible dining options. All-day snacks and beverages are available. Our attentive staff is here to help. LOW STAFF TURNOVER: Having a stable staff with low turnover is essential in long-term care. I absolutely love this facility. The staff is awesome. The owner is also really awesome. They really care about the residents living there. The rooms are really nice. You can have tour own bedroom with a bathroom. The place is really clean. They have all kinds of activities to meet all the needs.
