"I thought Grand Villa of Clearwater was nice. It was a little bit more expensive, but I like the facility. I like the people that I met there. It seemed very clean. It seemed like they cared about the residents. There were no activities going on at the time because it was a weekend, but they had an activity center. And it looked like they had a place for physical therapy. The room that my dad would have had would have been a shared room. It was like two separate sleeping spaces, a shared bathroom, and a kitchen area. The salesperson I met was very helpful and gave me a lot of useful information as far as getting Dad Medicaid assistance. The residents seemed happy there, too."

"I have two very spacious rooms and two baths as well as a beautiful porch. The one meal a day is always delicious and we're able to bring home anything we can't eat, which is often my dinner at night. The grounds are always beautiful and so well kept. "When you come into American House St. Petersburg, it is very welcoming. The place smells good and it's visually very pleasing. Everybody takes the time to help you. I spoke with a lady named Theresa. She is top-notch and very welcoming. She took the time to answer all my questions. In comparison to other communities, they have better ratios of patients to caregivers. Although it's more expensive, it's definitely worth it. They have a patio and an area where they do activities. They have many different seating areas where they can get together, whether it's by a fireplace or something to watch or just conversation-wise. They have hair salons available and many different doctors come in, from podiatry to general care. I was very surprised by that. The facility is brand new. They finished building it in 2021, and they're not in a flood zone."

"We like the grounds, the size, and the layout of the condos at Addington Place at College Harbor. The thing we liked least was the long waiting list. Other than that, the staff was very nice, very pleasant, and very informative. They have a good activities list. We also liked its location and cost. There was a good, varied menu, and you had good choices. It wasn't just one or two things. There were a number of items available."

"My friend will move into Brookdale Bayshore. First of all, the view is beautiful and every single room has a view of the bay. It's got a great outdoor pool, kitchen, and a dock that even provides fishing poles. Everybody was nice. It's a beautiful facility, and everything seemed just first-class. Anna's great, and she'd been my point of contact throughout the whole process. She's been readily available and has answered all my questions. They invited us to have lunch one day. We sat in on lunch, and they provided a glass of wine for us, and that was great. The menu options I saw looked extensive, and all of them sounded good. They do have a beauty salon. They have the library. They have a whole lot of different functions going on. They have live music and happy hours. They have outings where they go to different places."

"This is where I would want my mom to stay. It's a 5-star across the board. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the rooms for a person because it was more like a hotel. They're very clean. They had a fine dining area like a five-star hotel. They had security for the memory unit. It didn't feel like a nursing home setting. The person who showed me and gave me information was just phenomenal. She knew exactly what she was doing and how to interact with the person that was interested. I checked their dining area, but I didn't try their food. They did go over the type of food that they had. They have a menu. They don't give one thing out and say you have to eat it. It was like fine dining. They could choose what they wanted to eat."

"The area of Tampa Gardens Senior Living was very well-kept. The young lady at the front desk greeted us with open arms as if we were family. They escorted us to different activities they have, whether it was bingo night or movies. The young lady gave us so much literature and information to take home. They showed us around the memory care facility, which was very well-kept and secure. My dad is a wanderer and likes to walk around, but we felt very secure that he wouldn't be in any danger or anything like that. The staffing was amazing. The place was immaculate. They have menus and so many activities that would keep my dad occupied and very busy. We even spoke to one of the nurses there who takes care of these patients with these needs. She was very, very helpful. She speaks multiple languages, which is fantastic, not only English, but she also speaks Spanish. Someone else spoke Filipino, which is fantastic. Somebody else spoke Hindi, who is very well-balanced. We saw the menu, which had a large variety. They had vegan choices and choices for special diets and special needs. It was a very nice menu that we saw. The dining area was very clean and organized."

"I was very impressed with The Meridian at Brandon. I thought that the place was great. I had a nice tour. I was very impressed with the facility, and I was very impressed with the way that facility was kept, and with the people who gave me the tour and told me all about it. It's bright, airy, and clean. They take good care of the building. I like the design of it, too. There are a lot of very big open, airy spaces. There's a lot of little nooks and crannies where people can sit. They have cool things like fireplaces and a place where you can walk your dog. They have good security, too. It's independent living, assisted living, and then they have a memory care unit. And I was very impressed with the way that they did that, because a lot of people go in knowing they're going to graduate from independent living to assisted living, and then actually wind up needing full 24-hour supervision. I only met three staff, and they were all delightful. The food looked fresh and well prepared. Their menu has a lot of variety and the people who live there have choices. If they don't want the main thing on the menu, they can get choices. They can also get service if they miss a meal like they come down and it's too late for breakfast like they overslept or whatever, or if they want a late lunch. The dining room accommodates people, which I thought was good."

"Sky Active Regency Residence looks quite adequate. And it seems to have everything I'm looking for. People seem great. The staff who gave the tour was sincere and knowledgeable. The rooms looked very nice and very accommodating to me. And from what I saw, the place was absolutely clean."

"I toured Hawthorne Estates of Brandon, and the staff was so friendly. They welcomed me, and I thought, "I have been living there for a long time." The people who lived there were very nice. I really enjoyed it when I was there. It was a friendly atmosphere, and I loved it. The facility was very clean, and I didn't have any problems. I walk with a walker, so going in and coming out of the facility was great. They have a washer and dryer in the hall of each floor. They have activities. They showed me where I could get my hair done. They have salons. They told me at two that they had the happy hour. They had an exercise class, and they showed me a dining room, and it was beautiful."

"We toured Keystone Place at Terra Bella. I like that very much. I thought that esthetically, it looked good, it was clean, and the staff we spoke to was very friendly. The residents appear to be happy, the ones we saw walking around. If it was me, I would have gotten into that place. It was very nice. They were very helpful and very friendly. They did a great job giving us a tour and telling us about the services they provide and the activities that are available for the residents. It was great. It was a good atmosphere."
