"Lake Seminole Square is a beautiful place. If I had to go to an assisted living home, this would be the one if I can just afford it. The staff was very friendly. I like how the marketing person presented the place, and I could just see by the reaction of the residents that they were completely happy there. The rooms were nice and large. Each room had a beautiful view of the place with a lot of landscaping and grounds. "

"We went to Coral Oaks and we really liked the facility, so we are making another appointment to take my friends to it, get assessed, and such. As of right now, that's what we're going with. It was very clean. The people were very nice and personable. The facilities and the things that they can do there are amazing. The staff knew all the residents by name. They sent us back with cookies. We gave them to our friends, and they loved them. Everybody was wearing masks and staying away from each other. There's a room that family can go in and have dinner together with the residents, but that is closed down right now because of COVID. All the tables in the cafeteria were separated as well."

"I visited the Freedom Square of Seminole, and they were the only place that had a fixed rate. I loved it. Every other place had add-ons for this and add-ons for that, so the fixed rate was impressive to me. I like knowing what the bill is going to be. The only thing that they said they have was a cost-of-living increase, but we're coming in $1000 under their normal rate so they assured me that the whole time my mother would be there, even with the cost of living, it will never go above $4700, and I was really pleased with that. The facilities were very good as well. The room was good, and they also offered a respite room for when the actual room is not set up with her things yet during move in. While there, I saw some people doing crafts, playing cards, and doing some things in the gazebo. They're on fifteen acres of land so it's a very sprawled-out place. I don't expect my ninety-five-year-old mother to keep covering the fifteen acres, but it's a very nice place if you want it. I liked the idea of their movie theater because even if you're in a wheelchair, it's easy for you to go and see a movie. They also provide popcorn and things like that, and I think that's good."

"When I visited American House St. Petersburg, I was very pleased with the walk through. The place was very clean. The staff was friendly and even the residents were also friendly. I liked the fact that my father is in a shared room, but even though he's in the shared room, it's almost like private, because he has a separate door and the roommate also has a separate door. They just shared the bathroom, and that was impressive to me. The staff has been very good. They keep me informed and when I come to visit him, they already know who I am. If they have something to tell me about him, they tell me right away, like whether he had a good day or a bad day. They eat in the dining room and they get my father out of the room for all of his meals. I haven't been there to see what type of activity they do, but they have different activities for the residents, because when I first walked in there, I was impressed with what they were doing, a cardio drumming exercise. They have a common area for the exercises. I think they exercise in the same area where they have a common area for eating. They have a television and you can take them outside if someone is with them, because with it being a memory care, the doors have to be locked. The meals looked very appealing. Like I would even want to eat a meal there."

"Brookdale Bayshore was clean. The residents and workers were friendly. The location was very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable about everything that they did. They seem to have everything that they need. They have exercise classes, a salon, a pool, and a lift area for the pool for people that can't get in by themselves. They have pool exercise offered through a person at the YMCA that comes and does it. They have movies, a book club, and a lot of amenities."

"We liked Allegro. My sister liked the apartment. She liked that she had a water view when she looked down. We saw the restaurant. They had a bus. They took them out to places. They took them out to dinner. They had pool, a hot tub, and a workout room. It was very nice. "

"My Mom has been a resident at Tampa Gardens since 2012. Initially she lived in the Assisted Living Area. She is now living in the Memory Care Area . The staff have been great with my Mom. Rosamand gets her to do things that Mom won't to do for me. She also gets Mom to transfer from her chair to her wheelchair. She gets Mom to walk to the bathroom instead if taking the wheelchair. Mom does it happily for her. Rosamand challenges Mom and Mom trusts her. Staff are always willing to support Mom and keep her safe. They manage her medications, provide three meals a day and monitor intake. The staff also complete Moms ADL's and if there are any issues they will let me know and alert the nurse practitioner. I have been very pleased with the care and support Mom gets at Tampa Gardens."

"It is a very big community. They have several floors. It is the best one I've visited. It's very clean and very well structured. The staff was very nice and seemed to be concerned about our situation. However, in the end, they couldn't help us because of my brother's criminal record in the past. The dining area was set up like a hotel. The private room was nice and roomy, and it had a bathroom. The residents all seemed happy and engaged in whatever activity they were doing."

"The Meridian at Brandon was beautiful. I wanted to move there myself. It's brand new. The rooms looked nice. The staff was very lovely and spent a lot of time with me. The problem was that the medical personnel came to visit my mother and said they couldn't take care of her. I saw a studio and a one-bedroom apartment. They had a beautiful room for the residents to watch videos. They had an art studio, a courtyard, and a beauty salon."
