My mom is at Lake House. We chose it for the cost and the location. The staff have a good caring attitude. My mom said the food is pretty good. They have games. They have movies. They have outings. They have a lot of interaction with group activities. They have entertainment that comes in. It's clean. It's relatively new. It's well maintained. However, there were some issues with the showers and all that.

I toured the Lake House for my mom. The staff who showed me around was very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. She's very knowledgeable about the current and the history of the place. She is very sweet, very informative, easy to speak with, and receptive to all questions. The place was very, very nice. It was very well-mannered and well-kept. Everything was neat and clean. They have different floor plans for the rooms, which I haven't seen that many options. The call bell system was pretty cool. The way the residents are involved with the chef in determining upcoming meals, what they liked, and what they didn't like was pretty cool. They have a beauty salon, and if we opt to place my mom there I will be able to bring my dogs in to visit her because two of the three of them have bonded with their grandma. And the staff said it would be no problem. I just can't take them in the dining room, which I completely understand that, and wouldn't anyway.

I toured Lake House, and I liked the place. It was extremely clean. The staff was pleasant. The tour was very informative. The staff who gave me the tour was Hailey, and she was very good, and kind, and answered all my questions. She showed me the different room sizes that they offer, and they were all very nice. They had private bathrooms. The dining area was very nice. They get assigned seating and every resident orders off of a menu, which I thought was nice. When I got there, the activities director was doing some kind of activity with some residents. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It smelled nice and clean, and it was quiet and comforting.

I did not like Lake House. My mom is still capable of doing certain things for herself, but she can't be left alone. She can't be in a room by herself, shower herself, or get her own medication. What they had to offer for the memory loss was way more advanced than what she is right now. Their memory care facility is in a separate little building. I thought it had a lot to offer. If my mom didn't need nursing care, it would be a good place for her. They have separate rooms. They can add someone to come and give her medications and stuff. She would also need someone to help her or supervise her while she's showering, and that wasn't offered. It was another fee, so it was getting quite expensive without Medicaid. The rooms seemed kind of small, but they were adequate. The activities seemed pretty nice. They had several different things to offer, if somebody was inclined to do that. The place looked clean and nice.

Lake House was very nice, but we couldn't afford that. It was very nice, and they had a screened-in place outside. If the patient wanted to have meals with their family. They could go out there and it would be like a private area. They even had a room inside where you could do that. They had stuff that goes on every day, which was nice. The lady that showed me around, I don't remember her name, but she was very nice and very helpful. I would recommend them to anybody. The rooms were beautiful, nice and big, and very clean. Even when somebody had just moved out, we'll have to get up there, whatever, it was not in bad shape. They have a smoking area, a place they could walk around, and a patio outside for the patients to go out there. It was very nice.

We went to Lake House and check that one out. It just seemed likea lot more people, and it's a little bit bigger. We got to view a couple of studios. They have a lot of activities, and they also have where the doors locked. The staff that gave me the tour was great. The rooms were nice. Everything was clean. The halls were bigger than the other place. They displayed some things for the military, and my brother is military. The eating area was bigger than the other place, and they were able to order their food there in the restaurant part. They watch for any problems that people might have. They could have snacks in their room with a refrigerator and all that, but they wanted them to eat downstairs. It just seemed like a nice set-up anyway, and it made them feel like they were eating at a restaurant.

Lake House was very nice. They're on the lake and they even have this outdoor area that's screened in with furniture where mom could sit and look out at the lake and watch the turtles, squirrels, and birds. They have some nice gardens. There's singing and stuff. It was very nice. I liked it. I think she will like it there. It's not too far from home, so it was more appealing. They have both assisted living and memory care. They only have six beds in the memory care, but they have a bed open, so they have something open for immediate. It's very nice. She has dementia and she's pretty severe. She can't do assisted living because she can't dress or go to the bathroom herself. She's not even able to feed herself now, so she has to have full care. The staff was nice and friendly. They don't seem frantic or anything. They seemed very laid back. There was supposed to be another guy there because I couldn't get a price for the complete bottom line. They have a base starting price for memory care of $2600 a month, but that's just the room and board, that doesn't include her additional care as far as feeding her, getting her into a wheelchair, bathing her, and all that kind of stuff because she can't do any of that. I don't know what the exact bottom line is going to be as far as the price goes. It was very clean and they decorate for the seasons. They had it nicely decorated. If I wanted to go and have dinner with my mom there, they have private areas for the family to have dinner with the residents, so that was pretty nice.

My brother moved into Lake House and it's very nice. The grounds are very well-kept, and the building is well-kept. It's decorated nicely. The rooms are spacious, too. They also have a nice cafeteria for the guests there, and the people that work there are really nice. Michael and Jessica are all very nice people, but Tisha is a very nice person. She takes care of the things on the property. They're very quick, and if you say you need something, they get it right away. My brother says the food is good. They already had a Halloween party, but I've only been there a few times. They seem to be doing something all the time. According to what they told me, they do things like weekly outings, but with COVID they put a pause on that for a while. They're getting back to that now, though. I think they also do daily activities. They watch movies, and probably have bingo games and things like that, but I'm not sure exactly what the games they play are. They have a nice outdoor patio area on the lake. All the units have air conditioning so you can control your air conditioning. They have very large bathrooms in each unit. You can furnish it yourself, or they'll furnish it for you at no extra cost. They also have phones in the rooms, and you can have your own phone. It's a $20 charge a month for that. They have cable TV and WiFi, too. They do things all the time, and they decorate nicely for the holidays. Here, shortly, they're going to start decorating for probably the holidays, Thanksgiving, and then probably Christmas. But they put lots of decorations out and stuff. They take very nice care of the lobby area. When you walk in there, everything is pretty nice looking.

We chose Lake House for my mom and she moved there. It had a very homey feel to it that we felt that our mother would be able to get involved with the people there. It wasn't too big where she would get lost among the crowd. It was just the right size for her and the fact where she can mingle with the people there. They have a piano and she loves to sing and play the piano, too. So we thought that would be something that she could benefit from. The staff there seems to be very on top of things, they're paying attention, and are observant to the people's means there. So we liked that about it, too. She's only been in there for less than a month, but we're hoping that this is going to be a good place for her. Considering that it's an older building, they do keep it up and make sure that it's well maintained. They have them go out on adventures like the mall, or to lunch, or a park to get them out.

I loved Lake House. As soon as I walked through the front door, I knew that that was gonna be the place. I just had a feeling. It's a gorgeous facility. The staff and the residents were very nice. The dining room was gorgeous. It's spotless. The rooms were normal-sized for that kind of room. I don't know how big they're supposed to be, but if you're just by yourself, the room size is perfect. They have activities every day, and they've got two outside areas that are pretty and nice, serene, and quiet. The thing that I liked the most about it was the walk-in shower. There was no kind of lip or anything to watch your step up and over. It was like a flat surface, so somebody in a wheelchair could roll right into the shower.

My sister lives in Lake House, and she's living it like she's in a Hyatt Regency. It's very nice, very clean, the people are very friendly, and I have not had any issue with them or whatsoever. The food smells good and from the looks of it, it looks great. They have a choice of meals, so that's excellent to me. They have activities seven days a week, something in the morning, and something in the afternoon. I'd like it to be cheaper, but that's how it goes, so it's still worth every penny.

Lake House is great. I like it. The staff members are great. They're also nice. They're pretty good and very nice. I think they don't have too many activities going on right now because of COVID, but I know they have something going on. Everything is pretty nice. I'm pretty sure the food is pretty good, but my mom would not like the food because she is not accustomed to that kind of food. Her room is pretty nice. It's for one person. It's a clean, nice, homey, and a pretty big room. The bathroom is very nice.

My mother has been a resident here for 3+ years. She and I are very happy with the facility on all levels. They appear to be expert at caring for this population. She is comfortable, well fed, and well attended to. Having a small, family run facility really makes a difference.

Lake House is brand new, beautiful, and it's on a lake. It's very large with elevators, a lot of activities, and the single rooms are a good size. In front, they have the memory care unit that they just opened. I am very pleased with them. They have activities all the time, like people coming in to sing, memory games, dancing, and the place is always decorated for every holiday. The staff is OK, but they need more. When they're dining, there's no staff to attend to the residents. The food needs a lot of work because they bring in a lot of pre-cooked food.

We were interested in Lake House because they only have 60 residents. We really liked it. They clean the rooms every day, and they shampoo the carpets in the rooms every 2 weeks. The food seemed to be fine. The dining room was very nice, and it was nicely furnished. They had lots of activities. They also had memory care which was across the street in another building. They can be kind of independent, or they can be assisted, depending on what their needs are. Their price seemed to be more reasonable, also. Whatever you need is already included in the price. They had different talks on different subjects, cards and games, and music.

Lake House Assisted Living is very nice, but it was just a bit far from us; that is why we did not chose this place. The place is brand new. The staff was really nice during our visit.
