I was impressed with the Senior Living Community, an Eastern Star Home. It was clean, and they had great activities. They had places that you could go to do stuff. It seemed like everyone was friendly. The average age of the residents was probably in the 80s. I loved the set up of their little apartments. They had a nice amount of room, and it's well kept up. They have a little area with popcorn and snacks, like a little ice cream shop. I loved that they had puzzles out. It's definitely one of the places that I'd be willing to live in.

While this is an older building, the love and culture that lives in this home is amazing. One bedroom and studio accommodations. Smaller home of 75 but has all of the necessities of home. Great care, amazing people who care, their surveys are outstanding, great life enrichment, all at an affordable price.

I am so delighted that my mother moved into the Eastern Star Senior Living Community. The care she is receiving is top-notch and there is an amazing list of daily activities she can participate in. They take care of just about everything; from her laundry, apartment cleaning, meals, and transportation. The staff is very caring and extremely imaginative in the activities they provide. I threaten my mom that I want to join in all her fun and that I'm going to move in with her, which always generates a laugh from her.

The facility is so well maintained, bright, cheerful, and immaculate. Delicious meals prepared are always a plus too! I love the Senior Living Community. The environment is so enriching and pleasant. They take care of all of the residents with great dignity and respect and treat each of them like family. They even treat the family like family and hold our hands when we need help to help our mom's with their medical needs. They help fight the battles with our mom's insurance company when we have problems getting referrals. They are simply great.

My grandmother, after 60 years of loyal service to this organization, paid the ultimate price with her life. We thought we were leaving her in the care of people that would love and care for her (as this was her wish to be there). We were never so wrong. Not only do they strip your rights over any of her assets they also keep all personal items. My grandmother was in fine health and was dead next to her bed right after her 90 day grace period ended. To top things off, they lost her body for 5 days when they said she was at the mortuary. It was a heart breaking experience and not the way I expect my grandmother to go out after 92 long years on this earth! To top it off, NO BODY cared about her services! NO BODY! My great grandparents would be so ashamed!!! Shame on you all at the Senior Living Community for the Eastern Star!
