I was a resident of White Orchid. It was very good. The place was clean, and the food was good and varied. The staff members there were nice. They knew what they were doing. The accommodations were just bedrooms. I had a bed. It wasn't anything special except it was all on one floor, so it was convenient; it was kept clean. The people who worked there knew what they were doing. They were qualified. Some of the bedrooms were single, and my bedroom was a double. There was a big common room with a television. Other than the treatment and things like that, we pretty much watch TV . There wasn't a whole big program that I remember. They had a barber come in, but no barbershop.

White Orchid is housed in a nice neighborhood. You come in, and there is a living room area, which is never used, and to the right is the kitchen and the TV area where most people go. They only have 5 chairs, so Jane physically stays in her room a lot. They have 5 bedrooms; 3 of them are doubles, and 2 of them are singles. The food is boring but definitely edible. They really don't have activities. Jane has gotten better from staying there, so I think the care is good. It is a husband and wife team. The owners are absolutely wonderful. On the couple's day off, she is there, and it is always a fun time for everybody.
