"Visited the facility a couple of times, invited to some of their fabolous halloween and christmas parties. Very fond of the owners, very attentive to the residents as well to all the visitors. The place is just beautiful, very well kept and open deck for residents to walk around. Definate recommendation, felt very welcome. "

"We found The Meadows of Prescott Valley for my wife. It's only 25 minutes from where I live. We were there for three to four hours. It's a home totally modified to accommodate people who need help. They even have a cabinet in there to heat up towels. You can take a shower sitting down on a chair. They have everything you can think of for people who need the assistance. I was very, very impressed with that. It's hard to tell if they're family members or they're staff, the way they deal with the people. They're very much like a family. They've got a beautiful area in the back, they can walk 'em out, they can walk around it."

"I toured Scott's Harbor. The level of care that they provide after interviewing with both the owner and the manager was very good. The cleanliness was excellent. The structure was not so good. The atmosphere feels very welcome and pleasant. The room size was just perfect for us. I don't know whether other people might like bigger rooms, but my wife was totally bedridden at that time, so they were fine for us."

"The Landings of Prescott Valley didn't have as many facilities as what I needed, but it's a newer place. It's very well kept, very light, and airy. They had one available room, and it was very nice. It was also very neat and clean. The staff and the residents that I met were very friendly. It was all one story, which was nice too."

"Lighthouse Adult Care Home was nice, and it was expensive. My mother had excellent care there. The food was good. It's excellent care. It's a lovely place. The rooms were wonderful. It was a very nice homey situation. The atmosphere was wonderful. My mom stayed there for two years. Everything was wonderful. There was nothing bad about it at all. But there weren't any activities."

"Aspen Creek was very bright, very clean, and wasn’t cluttered. The residents were doing a variety of things instead of sitting in their wheelchairs in front of a TV. It had a good feeling to it. There was a big aquarium to relax near, a dining area, and the TV room. The dining area was very nice and bright. The rooms were nice and bright, clean, and homey. Terry had a nice manner and was very patient and compassionate."

"My parents have been in Hilltop Quail Haven for about a week and a half. I’m very happy with it. It’s small and intimate, and my parents get really good, individual care. Their room has a little sitting area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Hilltop Quail Haven can only have up to 10 people, and there are only five right now. They do exercise with them in the morning. All the vets go over to the senior day care, and my dad can go. My mom has severe Alzheimer’s, so she really can’t do anything. My dad needs independent living and my mom needs 24/7 care, so this is one of the places that would take them and keep them together. I would recommend them to others. Everybody I met there is really sweet, and they know me by name when I walk in. They’re really great with them. "

"So far, having my father in Touchmark at The Ranch is going well. It was a smart move. The staff is above average, they've been in contact a lot and are trying to do their best despite the COVID situation. He has a nice apartment with a nice view. It's a nice room, nice large bathroom and the facilities are very nice. It's a beautiful facility. My dad doesn't love the food. They're not really doing very many activities right now."

"I have placed my mother at Highgate. The facility is clean and feels very much like a resort. The services they offer with the base rent price are more than at the other facilities I looked at. The food is good; it is all made fresh every day. The rooms are very adequate with plenty of space for what’s needed. The whole place is nice. The staff is very friendly and very efficient. "

"Willow Wind Residence was very clean, and the people that we had talked to had been very friendly and helpful. My mother really liked the room. It was not just like a square one; it had a different kind of angle. They had church services, and they take the residents out for shopping. We had lunch there, and the food was pretty good. "

"Lovely assisted care home with very caring staff, I have always been a bit dubious about leaving my mother in the care of strangers but after speaking to the staff here and some of the other residents i am more than comfortable in the decision now"

"Alta Vista was our favorite. It was set up more for senior living, so I thought it was a little better designed than other places. There were many programs designed by the staff, like outings, bus services, and that kind of thing. The rooms were a little bigger and more set up for senior living and had a little bit different feeling, than other places. Alta Vista is the place I would want to be. "

"Good Samaritan is a little older facility, so it is worn-out, and it is long-term care. It is assisted living and also a short-term rehab place, which is what my mother was involved in. They did a very good job with her. She had come in with congested heart failure symptoms after spending 3 days in a hospital. It was a little less organized, but they did a reasonable job. Unfortunately, the hospital that referred her fell down on the job in terms of getting us to a specialist. I had to really work hard with Good Samaritan to get them to refer my mother to a specialist. That was a big deal because you cannot go to a specialist without a referral, and Good Samaritan was wonderful with me to get that. They just need to put more money into the facility. "

"I went to Las Fuentes Resort Village three years ago to visit a friend of mine. He started in independent living, and had a nice living room there with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a little kitchenette. It would have been nice for two people, but too big for one. As he needed more assistance, he was put into assisted living. They gave him his medicine on time and provided him with meals. I met one person that came in on Wednesdays to change his beddings and stuff, and she was a nice person. They had a big, beautiful restaurant type of place where he could go and choose from a couple of different items each day. It was pretty nice. We ate lunch with them twice and even the staff people in the dining room were there constantly making sure I had everything that I needed, even if I was only a visitor. The food was served properly and tasted very good. They have fairly new buildings. At that time, they had an activity program going on in the great big room and it was impressive. The price was fair. So, he was happy there and I was happy visiting him as well."
