"My mom was in respite care at Brookdale Central Paradise Valley. It was just for two weeks. Everything about it was great. The staff members were fantastic. The rooms were very nice. She liked the food quite a bit, and she said that there was plenty of food. It was still under COVID restrictions, but they have a pool, a cafeteria, game rooms, and a lot of social activities. She enjoyed them quite a bit. They had one of the best prices I found. She enjoyed her stay there, and I would recommend them to anybody."

"Atria Park of Sierra Pointe is just spectacular. It's like being in a hotel. It is nice. People are very friendly and very professional. My brother-in-law wears this little watch and he just presses that if he needs them and they're right there. He loves their food, too. They walk with him to dinner and they check on him at least once a day to see how he is doing, what's going on, or if he needs anything. So, they're conscientious and they pay a lot of attention. They're just phenomenal. The caregivers and everyone that I've met or had any interaction with are very kind and very interested in the residents. They have a modified gym with recumbent bikes, they do chair classes with weights, they have a movie theater, a swimming pool, and a game room. So, there are plenty of things to keep you interested and busy. The halls are nicely decorated. You feel like you're in a very high- end home/resort and it's not crowded or anything like that. It's just a lovely place. The facilities are very nice and very clean, including the parking lots and the landscaping. They clean his apartment two times a week and they provide laundry service and cable television. They're great units. So, if you want your folks or your family members to live in a place where they will feel at home, welcomed, and safe, then Atria Park of Sierra Pointe is the place."

"It was very, very caring and very gracious. The couple of different people we talked to seemed very knowledgeable. The rooms seemed very adequate. Right now, they're being revamped with new paint, new carpeting, and stuff. The grounds seemed very, very pleasant and very pleasing. They had a library and lounge areas, a theater, a room where they had musicians come in, card games and bingo. One thing I liked the most about it was that the dining room was open all day."

"I moved to Madison Meadows. It's not a bad place. The food and the restaurants are pretty nice. The staff is pretty cordial. They do what they say they're going to do. The room is very nice, clean, modern, and mechanically sound. For activities, I don't attend any of them myself, but there's so much activity for us here from bingo to music concerts."

"My personal expierences with this assisted living facility have always been very good. The apartments and grounds are very well kept, and the owners are quick to address any problems. The dining room serves very tasty and healthy food options. The staff in the dining room are wonderful. The servers and busers are very quick to laugh, and get you whatever you need or want. The chefs and nutritionist are eager to get feedback so they check in with most of the table during the meals. Every person I have come into contact with (that is employed by Mesa Palms) always has a smile on their face, and a kind word to say. I know they have a bus that will take the residents t scheduled places like the doctor, and the grocery store, and my grandmother has always said very good things about that service. Mesa Palms has a few activties each week such as cards, crafts, and auctions for the residents. My grandmother loves going to these activities, and always makes a point to attend. From what I understand this facility offers solo living, and the option of a nurse coming by when needed. I don't believe this facility has a full care option (I'm not sure since my grandparents have never needed it). The only drawback I have ever seen with this facility is the location. The neighborhood surrounding the facility is a little dangerous. This facility is in an old part of town, and there is a lot of riff-raff out at night. The lcation is the only reason I did not give this facility five starts. Overall my grandmother could not be happier with her living situation. "

"Classic is a high-end, Hyatt resort-style community, located in North Scottsdale. Luxurious accommodations, both inside the main lodge, and the casitas that encircle it. The grounds are impeccable, with putting greens, natural boulders, and water features. The staff is wonderful, and always willing to go the extra mile to keep the residents happy. Classic is a beautiful, well-run facility; Always a pleasure to spend time there. "

"I moved in and I'm having a great time. The food is good, and the people are friendly. The staff is very good, very helpful, and very patient with us. They know your name and they act like they're happy to see you for the day. The residents are interesting. They're fun and I have a good relationship with everybody. The apartments have different sizes. They are bright and they all seem to have a balcony. There are views here. Some of the apartments have excellent views of the McDowell Mountains. My apartment has a view of Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell's. It's just a nice place, and I'm happy and comfortable here. I have so many activities that I want to do that I don't get anything else done. There are exercise classes, and a lot of people play cards and bingo. There's a nice workout room. There's a salon for hair and nails. You can get a massage and you can get a facial. You pretty much don't have to leave the premises, except if you want to do a little grocery shopping or if you have some things that you need to purchase that are not here. We have a nice bar lounge. We have piano players and singers and other musicians come in and entertain us. Our activities staff is always working on new activities. They've had trips to Sedona. We go out to a restaurant about once a month for dinner. There's just so much going on here, that it's hard to keep track. It's not that they're not good enough to be rated 5 stars, but there's always room for improvement. At this point, I don't know that I've been here so long that I should give them a perfect score. It may be close, but there are a few things that need to be improved upon slightly. But I'm very happy with where I'm at."

"Fellowship Square Historic Mesa is an older facility but the people there are very nice. It's been a great place, and my mother has been there close to 15 years now. The place that she has currently is an apartment with one bedroom. They have activities scheduled each month. They have a dining room that they go to and the place is reasonably priced. They have a beauty salon, they have a heated swimming pool outdoors. There's also a library with computers in them. I thought the food is pretty good too."

"The campus of Christian Care is clean, nicely landscaped, and friendly. The staff is personable and caring. I had an older relative living in this facility and she enjoyed her time there. Although she had a virulent form of cancer, the warmness of the staff buoyed her last days. The facility gave her a one-bedroom apartment with excellent amenities. The food at Christian Care was of the utmost quality and really provided a balanced and nutritious selection. As the facility is of a religious background there were a lot of supportive clergy there to lend a faithful hand. The selection of activities was wide and varied and the group interaction provided great support. Overall, Christian Care was an excellent place for my elderly relative and she enjoyed her sunset years in comfort and a human warmth. "

"The facility is nice, though the layout is quite confusing, it took me about a month of weekly visits to find my way around so I worry about the residents, especially new residents. The facility is large and spacious so the residents have a lot of room, but I have heard them complain that everything is too spread out and it takes long for them to walk to different areas of the facility. This one resident has to use a walker everywhere he goes and he says that it takes him forever, he said he is planning on getting a motorized chair so he can easily zip through the hallways. The facility is decorated very nicely though, it is very open and bright. All of the windows make the facility seem very cheerful. There are quite a few things in the facility that the residents can do to keep busy. They do activities with the residents everyday and there's also activity rooms and a library. There are TV's and computers and an art studio which is kind of neat. There is also an 18-hole putting green which the residents really enjoy. My favorite part is the indoor pool, it is very big and it's nice that the residents can use it year-round. There are also a lot of classes and clubs for the residents to partake in and the staff plan some pretty cool field trips for the residents. Most of the residents like to be active so there are things to keep them busy every day. I have spoke with each resident at one time or another and I make it a point to introduce myself to new people as they move in. They always say nice things about the staff, they tell me that the staff are very helpful and they are always making sure that the residents are comfortable and that they have everything they need. I have sat and watched the staff with the residents many times. They are usually very friendly and I like that they approach the residents to see if they need anything instead of the residents always having to go up to them for help. They will sit and talk with the residents about their day and catch up on their lives, they seem to be very close to the residents. I have also seen that when the staff become really busy, while they don't spend as much individualized attention with each resident, they are still very nice and professional, they don't become all flustered and stressed out and I have never seen them take the chaos out on the residents. For the most part, they all seem to work very well under pressure. The apartments and facility is usually very clean and the residents are always bathed and have are clean-cut. . There are many choices for mealtimes at this facility. They offer casual dining to fine dining and the food is always served hot. I have seen some of the dishes that come out of the kitchen and they really look like meals you would see in a fancy restaurant, only the portions are bigger! They have this demonstration kitchen where the chef will teach the residents about easy and nutritious meals they could make themselves and the residents love it. They also have cooking classes and cooking activities all of the time. The is this outdoor eating area that can be used for a private family dinner, it is so cool. It reminds me of an outdoor picnic area you would see in a vineyard. It is semi-covered with ceiling fans for added comfort. You are surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery, it is a great place for families to celebrate special days. Kids love eating out there and they are able to run around outside while the adults socialize. I am always happy to visit Vi at Silverstone, the residents overall are always happy and the staff is friendly. I have had many families tell me that the staff is very easy to talk to and get along with and they always call and inform the family of their loved one's status. The facility costs quite a bit more than other facilities I have seen that are just as nice, so I think that potential residents and families need to figure out is the amenities, services, and quality of care is right for them. I do recommend Vi all of the time because it is a great facility and it is one of the easiest facilities I frequent because there are very few problems and I rarely hear residents voice complaints about the staff or the facility, so I think it is definitely worth your time to take a look! "

"This is a medium sized facility and is well maintained. The facility is secure and the courtyard as they have dementia and Alzheimer residents.The apartments are one and two bedrooms and are built around like patio homes. All are handicapped equipped and partial kitchens. The grounds have lots of trees,grass,shrubs,and flowers. The courtyard has a patio ans sitting areas. The residents can walk around. They do housekeeping and laundry. They do 3 meals a day and snacks.The food is good and has variety of choices. They have a nice dining room, tv room with a fireplace, a beauty parlor,and heated indoor pool. All the residents sit down at a large table family style. They have a nurse on duty and all caregivers are certified. They have house doctors who come in and they can transport to appointments. The staff is friendly and caring. They do activities with the residents as exercises, games,arts and crafts, movies,and one on one. They have entertainment come in and they have bbq areas in the courtyard. They go on some outings as the residents are able to. It is a nice facility. "
