The Ranch Estates at Scottsdale is very welcoming and very efficient. They had availability when we needed it for my mom-in-law so we moved her in. We liked that their location was closer to where her daughter lives and where some of her doctors are located. She is in proximity to the area that she was familiar with and where she used to live. So a lot of those things played out in the thought process of why we chose that place for her. It's also very clean and very nice. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen. She has an outdoor patio if she chooses to use it. There is a pool facility, exercise, and all the other basic amenities that almost all of the senior places have. They have on-demand dining so you can go in any time and order whatever you want from a select menu, which is very accommodating. There's a salon and nails can be done on-site. Transportation seems to be pretty easy to organize and there always seems to be activities of people coming and going. The staff has all been extremely responsive. I think my mom-in-law is much happier now because she has that responsiveness and everybody's been welcoming there. No questions asked. All the staff came in to introduce themselves to her, let her know that she was going to be taken care of, and open their arms to try to make this thing a special place.

I went to The Ranch Estates at Scottsdale. I only met the tour guide. She was very nice. I can't speak for the rest of the staff. The rooms looked a little bit bigger at the ranch. It had more of a full sized kitchen, and it was more expensive. They had activities and the dining area had an entertainer. They had a pool that I could see from the balcony of the room that they showed me. It looked like they had game nights and various crafts. It kind of seemed like a hotel or apartment building. It had lots of stairs, hallways, and lots of rooms.

The Ranch Estates at Scottsdale is very nice. The staff was very good and very helpful. I think they all had pretty much the same amenities like a pool, a spa, an exercise facility, and things that I was interested in. They offer pretty much the same activities. They have crafts, exercise classes, and movies. The rooms were very nice and a comfortable size. The location is very good. It's a very convenient location to get to do things for independent living. However, I think they have a lot of rules that I didn't care for. They should improve on allowing people to bring their meals back to their apartment. I saw the menus, and I didn't think it was particularly exciting. They were OK.

Quality of care has greatly diminished since ownership changed in 2019 and with Shawn's leaving in fall of 2019. High staff turnover rate which impacts the level of care as longer serving staff who knew residents were forced out. Nutrion is lacking especially at lunch. Vegetables served had gone bad. No checks to confirm residents are infact eating their meals. This is concerning particularly for residents without kitchen facilities.

The Ranch Estates at Scottsdale was a nice facility. The sales director did a really nice job. She kept in close contact with us and was very informative. The units were very large, it's a good price point, and it's a smaller facility.

I went to The Ranch Estates at Scottsdale. The apartments were quite nice, their programs were limited, and their food was not tasty. The atmosphere in the dining area was very poor. The people didn't seem particularly friendly. The whole thing didn't appeal to me at all. The staff who showed me around was good. The facility was clean, and it was a nice floor plan. It had been apartments at one time, so they were a little more spacious.

It was friendly, nice, and close by. I had dinner there. They did not have a lot of parking, which was the only bad part about it. They had a lot of activities, like movies every night, exercises, and yoga. The location was very convenient for me.

It is closer to my daughter that’s why I chose it. The staff is wonderful. They are accommodating. The rooms are pretty big, my room is one of the biggest here.
