"My husband and I recently moved into Revel on Indian Bend Rd. We had been looking for a senior community for active adults and we found it at Revel! From the moment Gwen and Stewart found us the perfect floor plan and location, to our first dinner prepared by Chef Swan and wine selected by Dinning Room manager John we knew it was a great location. Rachel and Christina have made dinning in the restaurant and a casual drink at the bar fun! We highly recommend touring this great facility!"

"Brookdale Central Paradise Valley was a fantastic place. There were a lot of active seniors there. It was very clean. Everybody was very friendly. We really liked it. If we were going to choose one, I think that's the one that we were going to go. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They have games, live music, a gym, a pool, and a fish pond. They had the most aesthetic outdoors. The lady that gave the tour was very nice. Each apartment had its own balcony or patio."

"It was very, very caring and very gracious. The couple of different people we talked to seemed very knowledgeable. The rooms seemed very adequate. Right now, they're being revamped with new paint, new carpeting, and stuff. The grounds seemed very, very pleasant and very pleasing. They had a library and lounge areas, a theater, a room where they had musicians come in, card games and bingo. One thing I liked the most about it was that the dining room was open all day."

"It was well-lit and airy inside. The person I saw was very nice. We had a meal there, it was lunch, and it was on Friday, so it was fish and chips. I saw a couple of one-bedrooms, but they're too small for me. They have a gym, a library, and other common areas."

"Bottom line: After four weeks as residents at the Vi at Grayhawk, we know without any doubt that we have made the right decision. We very much enjoy everything about this welcoming and well-run place. making new and interesting friends is yet another big plus. The entire introduction process to the Vi was always pleasantly informative, professional, and reassuring regarding timely availability. We were provided with opportunities to meet with residents, including mentors, prior to moving in; all part of a very positive introduction to our new life experience. Working with staff members managing the moving-in process was simply a pleasure. After 16 big moves within North America and Europe over the past 55 years, we had very specific ideas and requests for our new domicile. They worked with us to the fullest extent possible and the few almost inevitable hiccups in the remodeling process were always satisfactorily resolved. So, after four weeks of residency, we have nothing but positive feelings about our new home. The front desk and concierge staff are beyond helpful. Our experience to date with the maintenance, engineering, and housekeeping staff has also been very positive. Thank you all."

"We have lived at Vi at Silverstone for 5 years and are very happy with our decision to move here. We live in a villa so we have our own space but have easy access to the main building with excellent dining options, activities for every interest and many interesting wonderful residents. We feel it is a comfort to our family too to know we have access to whatever level of care we may need in the future. ."

"I went to Scottsdale Village Square. They were very, very detailed in the tour. It was pretty quick, but we got through a lot of information. And so, I think the big thing that they hit on was the activities. They had robust activities, which is important for my dad, just because with cognitive decline we want him engaged as much as possible. Scottsdale was also bring your own furniture. The one I looked at was a one-bedroom and we were waiting for a studio, so that's partially the reason why we didn't go to that one, because the only availability was a one-bedroom, which was more expensive obviously. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I asked a lot of questions and they answered all of them, and it was a pretty quick discussion, but overall they gave some really good information."

"We visited Clarendale Arcadia, and it is very beautiful and very nice. They showed us the memory care, which we didn't like at all, and then the rest of the assisted living apartments, which were very nice. The dining room was nice, too. We like that. The staff who accommodated us for the tour was very nice."

"Truly Living My Golden Years in Style at MBK Senior Living! When my family and I first looked into senior living, I was apprehensive, imagining a quiet, sterile life. But from my first day at MBK Senior Living in Scottsdale, I knew my assumptions were wrong. It has been one of the best decisions of my life. My apartment is a perfect, personal sanctuary bright, beautifully maintained, and blissfully free from the worries of home upkeep. This has been a huge weight off my shoulders. The dining is another daily delight. It’s far beyond a simple meal; it’s a restaurant-style experience. The talented chefs offer a variety of delicious, healthy options, and the waitstaff greets everyone with a warm, personal touch that makes you feel special. "One thing I like about LifeStream at North Phoenix is that it's close. I looked at their independent living community, and it was just a nice tour. The calendar for the activities is great for my mom, as well, and she needs it. Instead of going inside a building like in a hotel, she gets her own individual sort of home that has a front door and a little patio in the back. The residents get fed once a day, but that's good enough for my mom. It was clean and nice, and it's a gated community where she can't get out at night. It was just a nice setup. It's a clean and friendly environment. They have a really nice community center, too, with puzzle rooms, meditation rooms, and reading rooms. It has a big kitchen and its own salon. My mom can make her own appointment right there. I don't have to go get her one or take her somewhere else. Overall, it was the best when I looked at what she needed. The other thing is that I don't wanna have to move her for the next step of care. They don't offer the next levels of care, but I can bring anybody in to help her clean, to be with her part of the day, or just help her. No matter what stage she gets to, she can stay. That was a big concern for me, and I know with dementia or Alzheimer's, it will be hard for them to move. The appliances are there, but you do have to furnish the apartment with a bed, couch, and if you want a microwave or a toaster oven."

"I toured Madison Meadows. I was very impressed. The atmosphere was much more engaged and positive. The staff were cheerful and always greeted you. The woman who gave me the tour was kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I liked it a lot. If I decide to go into a care facility, I would like to go there. It's clean, more than adequate, and well-maintained, galley kitchens. I looked at studios. They were very nice and more than adequate. The facility was lovely. They're doing a lot of renovations. Madison Meadows had more idiosyncratic, more eclectic, and a little more sense of like people lived there. It wasn't just an institution. It was lived in, cared for, and with color, so I appreciated it."

"We went to ACOYA Troon. I liked that the decor was modern. It had high 16-foot ceilings in the apartments, which was very nice. It feels more spacious. It's in the desert, so because of its location, it's smaller. It didn't have as much landscaping because they wouldn't allow it up there. After all, it's all desert landscaping. But you didn't have like the amount of patios. They had a few apartments with patios on the corner, but only very few. And around the whole property, it's mostly desert. We went to the dining room and looked at the meals they were serving and it was all fresh, nice food, well prepared and well presented. They have three meals today. You can have six meals. You can eat all day long if you want to. So that's included. And they have the same amenities as the other places, house cleaning every two weeks, and they do sheets and towels every week. And of course, if you need any help with assistance or anything, the resources are right there."

"They were very pleasant and very helpful at Fellowship Square Phoenix. They answered questions. The rooms were adequate. They were nice. They had kitchenettes, and that was good to see. The kitchenettes were nice, too. There was a room that had books and stuff in it, and they had an activities room. Some activities would be held in the dining room if they were larger activities. The courtyard was smaller, but it was nice. It's a larger community, and there is a lot of independent living housing there. They also have a memory care unit. The inside was very nice, and we liked the fact that it was a guarded community. They have a gate with a security guard."

"The tour at Oasis At Mesa Palms was sort of strange because I went with a girlfriend, and we just decided to go on our own. It was on a weekend, so it wasn't a formal tour. The one who usually gives the tour wasn't in, so the girl who works behind the desk gave the tour, and she was wonderful. She was very sweet, and she had to give the tour at the last minute. She was very nice, but she wasn't usually the person who gave the tour. The kitchens were better supplied, which really doesn't matter since you're getting your meals, so you don't really need a fully supplied kitchen. Nevertheless, they have a really wonderful kitchen. They have disposals, and they even have dishwashers. They have washers and dryers in each apartment. They provide two meals a day. The staff did the nicest thing. I was having trouble with my back, so she ran and got a wheelchair and pushed me around in it. It wasn't even her job, and she just couldn't be friendlier or nicer. She also told me about the two different floor plans and took me to apartments that had both floor plans to show me the difference."
