"My father likes the assisted living facility overall. The most important issue that concerns him is the declining quality of the food service at SVS. He brings it up in our conversations almost every time we talk. There needs to be improvement in this area. He does like every other aspect of SVS and likes the staff with who he has contact."

"I chose The Park at Copper Creek because it's a little secluded away from Scottsdale and busy traffic in that area. The other thing is that they provide an excellent menu. This is an independent living and the chef here is outstanding. It's just wonderful. They provide breakfast. We're locked in and it's secured. The rooms are very nice. It's a little cheapie on the inside with the amenities, but otherwise, it's a good size apartment for the pricing as well as utilities. I would recommend that they designate a beautiful little smoking area for everyone to go to because they don't have one of those here and that's very disturbing. The employees here are lovely and very friendly. They've done a very good job with modeling the area and furnishing it plus they have a lot of amenities here, and there's staff available to help you. It kind of brings about a community effort when you have those kinds of things around. The food is gorgeous, and they've got beautiful buffets. They have alcohol as well. There are tons of activities, exercise classes, crafts for painting, crafts for health, and crafts for safety and security. Every single day, something is going on. They put together little trips, and they took a group of people up to the Grand Canyon. It was terrific. The facility was very good. I have a little pet, and I'm in a 1-bedroom apartment with a little patio out front. We go out and take little walks, but it's very private. These little apartments are quite private. The only thing I don't like is that they have a boxed window kind of an air-conditioner, rather than having it centrally, and I didn't like that, especially in Arizona. There's no grass anywhere as well."

"Everything was fine over at Sunrise of Gilbert. It was just too far away for me to go to visit my husband. He stayed there for over 60 days. It was very nice. It was a little older than the other place, but they had a lot of things going there. It's full. They have activities. They're short staffed, but everybody seemed to help. My husband enjoyed them. The food was good. The facility was clean. He was able to do some activities. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. They're competitive with everybody else price wise."

"Cadence Living Chandler is a lovely place and they have a whole lot of wonderful amenities. It would be, from what I saw, a great place to live. They have a lot of activities. I liked everything we saw. I didn't see anything much that we didn't like at all. What my husband specifically liked was that they had a great arts and crafts room. It's a very sunny, open, bright arts and crafts room. We liked the fact that you can eat any time of the day, get juice, some water, or if you want some wine any time of the day, just come and get it. There are a lot of really nice amenities for those who can afford them. You don't have to bring anything. They have everything that's supposed to be in the kitchen, and they have the washer and dryer. The staff during the tour was very amenable. She showed me everything and she described everything to me and answered all my questions. I already had a friend that lived there and she invited us over for lunch. They have a pool, outdoor spaces, and a garden."

"I have been a resident now almost 3 years. I came here on my own, and have made it my home. I have been treated with dignity and care. It is not the largest in the area, but you feel the individual care that is offered. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable, seeing to your needs. There are so many different verities of activities, you can find what interest you the most. We are encouraged to leave our apartments to be a part of the community, but never pushed to do so. There is a good mix of gender, age groups, abilities that it is easy to find a place where you are comfortable. "

"My husband moved to Clarendale Arcadia. The surroundings are of very high quality. The staff is very accommodating and caring, and the services are very well organized. There's a beauty salon available. There's a pool. There's a jacuzzi. There are lounges for people to congregate in. They have a nurse available 24/7. It has several dining rooms that are available for residents and their guests. The activities vary according to the level of care. There could be more stimulating activities provided in the memory care units for the residents there."

"My apartment is new with high end finishes. It is well maintained by caring housekeepers and maintenance staff. The activities are numerous and appeal to vast majority. The residents are very welcoming and inclusive. The management and staff do everything they can to make each day a positive experience."

"My dad moved into Inspira Gateway. The staff, the office staff, and the administration have been fantastic. It's a new facility, so it's bright, clean, and modern. The amenities are fantastic. The meals have been excellent. They have daily activities and their activities coordinator is great. They've got pool tables. They have a pool, live music, and entertainment brought in for the residents. They have a nice physical therapy facility on site."

"My apartment is very spacious. The staff is wonderful in all aspects from housekeeping to chiefs, servers, maintenance and all management. They are friendly, caring, and social. The residents are so welcoming and friendly. The food in most cases is good. It is more personal likes and dislikes then bad food."

"I selected Copper Springs Retirement Community for my mother. It's beautiful, new, and very well-kept. She's been there a couple of weeks now, she tells me that all of her needs are being met, and she's making the transition very well. She's very comfortable there, which is great. The food is not the best I've eaten, but it's more than adequate, and three meals are included. If they don't like what's on the menu, they can call out, and get room service."

"We are living in Legacy Village of Salt River now. The combinations are great. They are trying to straighten out issues with the dining room and food service. The staff members are very good and excellent. They need to get more competent servers. The food quality is OK, and it's improving, but it needs to be improved more. The gym facilities are not very well supplied. They have a courtyard, swimming pool, salon, and private parking."

"I’m putting my brother in here. It’s brand new and when you walk in, it feels like home. It’s spacious; if you get a 1-bedroom or a studio, the rooms are a nice size. They have 2 dining rooms; just very good. The people are welcoming. They have individual care plans for every single person. They allow the people out of the memory care areas to go into the other areas with an escort quite regularly. They have a theater as well. "

The sanitation is very good. I feel very comfortable. I have quite a few friends here, and I feel safe."
