"I went to Inspira Arrowhead. They took us straight to one of the apartments, and then we just sat and talked to the lady who was in charge. The staff was very helpful, and she spent close to a half an hour just talking and sharing with us. The apartment was very nice; we liked it a lot. It's not fully furnished, but it would be large enough for the both of us. There were all kinds of activities, they have a pool inside that's heated, they have a place where you can exercise, and they said they have someone there all the time to help you achieve your goals. There is a lot of building going on around it, so it's a fairly new place. We saw some people sitting outside in the sun as we approached the building. It was very nice."

"Arrowhead Valley Retirement Community is outstanding, new, clean, and full of wonderful things for me and my spouse. We've paid and got the keys and stuff but we are not moving from our home until October. We went over there and took our friends back to eat. On Sunday, they had a brunch with wonderful food and we were there too. It's independent living. The manager that we met when we first walked in, Lisa, was just excellent. She took us all around the community, she was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We were very impressed. They do everything from valet parking. They are just Johnny on the spot with politeness and eagerness to help and show you where things are. This place is about 25 minutes from our front door. It's near and we're familiar with a lot of the stuff around. The big Arrowhead mall is 5 minutes away so that's also super."

"Vista del Rio was good. My friend went downstairs and ate with other people at different tables. He could go out within his room, go out and visit with people, the tables had tablecloths all set for them, and everything was clean. He would ask the other residents how they were doing, and they would answer, “Great.” I think it was a great place. "

"Amethyst was a very nice facility. They had separate areas for each category of residents, and they seemed to have everything very well set up. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. "

"My mother has been in Park Terrace at Greenway for almost three years now. The staff is really responsive. They've been really great, easy to work with, and, not to mention, they did a great job with all of the COVID stuff that happened. It was a resort before, so they really kind of maintained that. It's nice and clean. They take a lot of pride in taking care of the place and making sure that the residents enjoy it. They have movies, a central dining location, crafts, exercising, and the pool right there in the middle, and they can enjoy the pool at any time. I know they do some pool aerobics with the residents. They have pretty much everything that most of the other facilities have. The staff does a really good job. The food leaves much to be desired, though. She doesn't really partake in activities, but they have everything, and they give a lot. For what they have, they do a pretty good job. It's a really good value."

"I toured The Woodmark at Sun City. It was a nice place. The staff was friendly. The rooms were about the same as the other facility. It was all in one main building."

"I like the area. The rooms were pretty nice. Most of the people were very nice. They did have activities. They had trips and movies. I felt more at home there here. I think anybody would like it very much. I like the views there. "

"Fellowship Square of Phoenix was very nice, but they could only take 1 cat and I have 2. It was a very bright place. They had dances, movies, different clubs, a beauty parlor, and exercise rooms. It had a nice dining room."

"Westgate Village's employees are very friendly. The place is very clean and professional. It was very nice, and they were popping popcorn when I was there so it smelled good in the air. It's just beautiful and very good. Everything that I saw that I wanted to do, they had. They have a game room, movies, a gym, spa, a hair salon, and transportation, which is a big thing for me."

"I like The Palazzo. The problem with them is that it would be a long walk for my parents to get downstairs to the Happy Hour or to play pool. The activities were located in another building, and my dad didn't like that. They have a bunch of activities, so they're pretty much the same as the other place."

"I toured Madison Meadows. It looked very interesting. It was a one-bedroom, and it looked nice. They have a place to sit and have a soda or coffee. There were some people playing games at the table. They also have a beauty shop in the building, which is very impressive."

The facility is beautiful and clean, and the activities offered are engaging and diverse. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of exceptional care for their loved ones"

"Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West was very nice. The grounds were pleasant and adequate. The rooms were small, but all the necessities were there. The staff was informative. They had a little library, and they have a big gathering place where you could just sit. When you go there, included in your monthly rent is a rec center card to the recreational centers at Sun City West."

"We looked at the assisted living of LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Northeast Phoenix. They're very personal. The executive director is the one that gave us the tour because his assistant had to leave early on a personal appointment or something, so that spoke volumes to me. It means he was willing to go the extra mile, not just for the residents, but also for his staff. It's very orderly and clean. The apartment met her needs. It's enough for her furniture to fit, and that meant a lot to her because that's all she has. They have piano music, there was a pool and a spa that worked, so people were in there and it looked like they were doing aerobics. I don't know what they call it, but there was like a cat that was there and I thought it was a resident's cat but it's not. The cat works there. It serves as a service animal for the residents, so they can say hi and have animal therapy. They weren't using the dining area right now, but they look like they're just opening it up in spring, which is around the corner. I did not see the dining room but the menu they have has so much more choices for the residents. In case they cannot eat what's on the menu, they have other options for the residents to pick from. We didn't get to see the dining room and my mom's language is social. She likes to be social so I know she can't wait till she can start talking to people and being with people. That's the only reason why I would not give a perfect score, that I didn't get to see the dining room. They're not open right now. "
