"We rent a 2 bedroom/2 bath floor plan on the ADA accessible floor. Spacious, very clean, new, concergie service, meals cafeteria style with special selections available, and a community that has selected activities for residents. Transportation to Med Appts avail, plenty of parking. Small pets ok. No special rules or surprises. Great help from maintenance. Cleaning once a week, nice community. Very expensive at 5K a month. Non-smoking campus! Spacious grounds, we are pleased "

"We toured Inspira Arrowhead for my mom. It was very nice. The lady that gave us the tour was very informative and answered all our questions, and we liked it. My mom liked their rooms and the whole facility, and how they got it set up. She liked everything that was available to her at the facility. They had a theater and all sorts of different projects and activities. They are advertising for those activities, and she could see it on a schedule. They got trips that she can make with a vehicle to her doctor. The biggest thing she liked was that they could do her hair dressing right there. The place looked really nice. The dining area was really nice. We I talked to the chef, and we saw the eating area, the cafeteria."

"We visited several places around Sun City and they were all very nice, but I liked Madison the most. They invited me to stay for lunch, and it was a very delicious meal. The residents all told me that this was very typical of the food they get there. It was varied and they always had three or four choices, so that was very nice. The rooms were OK, but it was an older building, so it is not as fancy as some of the ones that were built in the last ten years. They had some activities; they had some limited physical ones like going for a half mile walk in the morning and that kind of thing. I walked out of there with a very positive feeling. "

"We settled on them, and we like the amenities and the whole general look and layout of the place. They have two meals a day. The gardens around it are very nice. The room sizes are to our liking, especially the two-bedroom unit. Just based on the tour, we thought it was a very good place. It's on the top of the list."

"We toured LifeStream at Glendale for my father-in-law. The tour was nice. They do not have as many amenities as the others we've seen. They do not have a fitness room. I did not see a lot of individuals around. It was quiet, which may be nice. They're remodeling a lot of the apartments and the newest building looks great. It has a modern interior which is very nice. The staff was nice. The dining area reminded me of a hybrid between a restaurant and a cafeteria."

"Vista de la Montaña is a nice facility. I saw their smallest room, and it was nice. The people were OK, but not as welcoming as I thought they would have been. The people there could be a little more welcoming. "

"My mom has moved into MorningStar Senior Living at Golden Ridge. We chose it because of the location and the price considering the amenities. We were primarily looking at just the room for my mother. They've got lots of activities, but they aren't significantly different from the others. The main reason we chose this is because of the location and the room. She has a studio room, with a bathroom, a washer-dryer, refrigerator, and sink. The food is very good, but the wait time can be long. In terms of activities, my mom's gone to church and to an exercise class. It's not perfect, so that's why I gave it a four."

"I went to the Park at Surprise. It's brand new and it's very nice, but it was just too expensive. The rooms were beautiful, very nice, all updated with ceramic and beautiful flooring, and everything was top of the line. They have a beautiful pool, they take you places, and there's a couple of different options as far as restaurants: they have a bistro and a regular restaurant that you can choose from. I would have loved it there, but I couldn't afford it."

"My wife has moved into Glencroft Senior Living. She loves it there. The food, amenities, and the people she has met have been fantastic. They got three restaurants, an indoor swimming pool, and an exercise facility. They have entertainment every Friday night, they have buses, they have laundry facilities, they got church right there, and they also have a small general store and a game room. Basically, everything that my wife would ever want is right there."

"This is exactly the place we have been looking for! My Nan seems to be very happy with the services and the staff. Food is delicious (sometimes we have it instead of wasting it in case Nan wants a change from their food). The staff are friendly and professional and just what you would expect from a place like this!"

"Park Terrace at Greenway just felt more like an apartment complex, which was good. It didn't feel like a nursing facility. It was very clean, the people were very friendly, and answered all our questions. I liked it but it was just over my mother's cost range. I toured their independent living. The staff was very helpful, as far as providing all the information. They have a salon and there was a little store. You could eat in the dining area or you could have it delivered to your room. They have a pool area and the grounds were very park-like, it was very pretty."

"We liked Fellowship Square of Phoenix, but the only thing I didn't particularly like about it was that you get 26 meals a month. The rooms were over 700 square feet, the food is very good, and their meals were like gourmet meals, but they had quite a few activities. "
