Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West

My mom is a resident of Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West. She likes it down there. When you walk into the door, the greeters are nice. The front desk and the kitchen people go around and greet all the residents, and that's good, too. They've got lots of activities that she enjoys. She likes the food. The nice thing about it is if you don't like what their main thing is, they give you options. They care about their residents, and they're always checking in to make sure mom's okay. The facility is very nice, big, and airy. She likes to play cards, bridge, and bingo, and enjoys using the bus to go out.

The gentleman who was giving us the tour at Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West was excellent. He gave us all kinds of information. The people were friendly. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was OK. The room sizes were a little bit bigger than the other place. They had a decent-sized kitchen, but there was something about it that I just didn't feel as comfortable with, and they didn't seem like they had as many activities. It didn't seem lively.

Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West was very nice. The grounds were pleasant and adequate. The rooms were small, but all the necessities were there. The staff was informative. They had a little library, and they have a big gathering place where you could just sit. When you go there, included in your monthly rent is a rec center card to the recreational centers at Sun City West.

Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West was much older. Some of the interior rooms were tired looking. They hardly had been updated much. The staff seemed busy. Some of the things we like is that the outdoor area has a bocce ball court. The outside was quite large with the pool of course. We liked the outside, but the gym was kind of disappointing. In terms of location, it's close to restaurants and hospitals, too.

I was impressed by Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West. I like the location. It's close to the life I've lived in Sun City West. The first time I went, they had a sign that said, "Welcome home, Sibyl," and I thought that made me feel good. I had lunch there, and I ordered an omelet, and it was so good. The staff members were very good. They have a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and laundry. If you want them to change your bed, you put the clean sheets on the bed, and they'll change your bed.

We toured Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West. I like the apartment setup. It seemed roomy and good. The apartment has a full kitchen. It has a microwave and all the kitchen stuff. The staff who toured me around was very knowledgeable about the place. He has worked there for quite a while. They have a balcony there, too.
