"The Palms at Sun City was recommended to us, and we are very happy. It's been absolutely great. The nursing staff is all friendly and efficient. The people are friendly, the food is good, and the place is clean. My sister is very happy there. It's not a full kitchen, but she has a small microwave, a small refrigerator and a little sink in her room. My sister said the food was excellent, but she came from a place where the food was terrible, so I don't know. I've never eaten there."

"The Woodmark at Sun City had very good restaurant food. The rooms are bigger and much nicer. The place is a little bit newer. I felt the activities were fine. They have pictures up on the wall of all the assistants. There were at least 8 of them that had been there 10 to 14 years -- an average of about 12 years -- and a lot of them were there 7 to 9 years. That impressed me that the people are comfortable with the place where they work in caring for the people. On the assisted living floor, there was a smell that smelled not as fresh, but more of old people. A lot of people leave their doors open, and it has different smells. It just didn’t seem as fresh as the first floor. The outside grounds were nice. They had a nice garden area with a statue fountain thing. They had a really nice patio area. It would be windy, but you could still see out. There was a lot of vegetation, and the view was beautiful with the mountains. I was very impressed with it. "

"Very clean. Every room has a nice recliner. Your allowed to bring pictures and things from home to make you feel comfortable. Staff is pleasant, caring."

They treat every Resident there with such love and compassion. Truly grateful for homes like this always great activities, we went bowling last weekend!!! "My brother moved to Arbor Ridge Senior Living. He likes where he keeps his dog and he likes his room and everything. He has a nice bedroom, a nice walk-in closet, and a very nice living room. The bedroom separates from the living room. He likes it all, but there's nobody there that he can visit with. The people are older and not easy to communicate with. So for that reason, he's not over-happy, but he likes the place. He doesn't like that they don't hang up their clothes. They wash them and bring them back in a bag and it is hard for him to hang up clothes. The facility has beautiful grass at the back. You walk out onto a patio, which makes it more pleasant to look out and see the grass."

"This is exactly the place we have been looking for! My Nan seems to be very happy with the services and the staff. Food is delicious (sometimes we have it instead of wasting it in case Nan wants a change from their food). The staff are friendly and professional and just what you would expect from a place like this!"

"I toured The Montecito. I liked that they had villas and we looked at the villas. They are like 1400 square feet, which was very nice. There was a nice facility, you could see that they had kept it up very well. The staff was very informative and very nice and seemed to interact with the patients because she knew everybody's name. As far as cleanliness, the upkeep, and everything was well. The layout of the rooms and the size were very good."

"I went to Inspira Arrowhead. They took us straight to one of the apartments, and then we just sat and talked to the lady who was in charge. The staff was very helpful, and she spent close to a half an hour just talking and sharing with us. The apartment was very nice; we liked it a lot. It's not fully furnished, but it would be large enough for the both of us. There were all kinds of activities, they have a pool inside that's heated, they have a place where you can exercise, and they said they have someone there all the time to help you achieve your goals. There is a lot of building going on around it, so it's a fairly new place. We saw some people sitting outside in the sun as we approached the building. It was very nice."

"My dad is moving into Adobe Country Gables. It was the closest to family, but it was also one of the only places that he could have his own room. It was really nice and was just a combination of everything working out pretty much. There was only one person that I had talked to. He was nice, answered all my questions, and answered the phone when I called. I called two or three times after and he had no issues answering the phone or anything like that. When we showed up, most of the residents were actually in the living room watching the Olympics, which I thought was pretty cool. And then from their brochure, it says they have different activities. The stuff in the backyard was extremely nice and big. He said that they do barbecues, too."

"It has been pretty good. The people are very warm and welcoming. They have games, regular Bingo, card games, a van that take them out to stores and restaurants, and group things. My mom complains about the food though."
