"My father-in-law happily chose Brookdale Apache Junction, and he's very excited about moving in. It's just been a positive experience. It is a multi-storied community, and my father-in-law happened to like the third floor. The other thing he liked was that it has a little stove, because he is the fudge maker of the family. He was very pleased with the aura of the community. The people were using walkers and sometimes scooters, but they were all visiting and seemed to be mentally sharp. Almost all of the staff that we spoke with have been there at least five to ten years, which we found very positive. The food was absolutely delicious. It has a pool, a lot of activities, and a lot of mental and social stimulation."

"My in-laws moved to Inspira Gateway. It was a very modern, clean, and updated space. It had been open only three years, so it was new. The food's good and the apartment is very spacious. They had a lot of offerings. They have trivia night, and several opportunities for movies, bunco, games, and other things. The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed."

"Solterra Senior Living at Chandler probably had the most up-to-date security system of all the places I've been to, not only because of the smoking area, for the person to be able to go outside and still be fenced in. They have a security system that at every corner and up and down the hallways, there is a checkpoint. If a person walks by that checkpoint, it records that person. So if somebody comes and say, "I want to come and visit Maria," and I go to her room and she's not there, I can go and ask them to see where Maria is, and they'll be able to pinpoint her to the very last place she passed. It's absolutely incredible. Other places don't have a system like this that actually tracks the person. They had private rooms. It's 40 minutes from the house here, but it is well worth the 40 minutes to go over there. The staff member was very cordial and very informative. He was the only man that showed me around, and all the rest of the facilities were women. I appreciated the women, but he really did a good job of showing everything. He gave me all the information that I needed. All the places gave me the information, but he just had so much more to offer. The place was exceptional."

"Avista Apache Junction is great. It's a homey. The caregivers are very nice and sweet, and if anything happens to my brother, they call immediately. He had fallen once, and they called, and his diabetes numbers were off the wall, and they called, so they're very responsive. It's got a good feeling. It's like a home. The food looked fine. My brother's room is nice. He got a one-bedroom. It's good and clean. He hasn't been there long enough for their activities, but they have stuff going on. We saw the calendar. They have cards, but it seems like they are geared toward older people like 70s and 80s."

"My mom was at Brookdale Chandler Regional. It was very good. They did everything that we thought they would do. It was a very nice place to care for her for 30 days. The condition of the place was very good. My mom thinks the food was very good. My mom also thought the staff were very good, kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. There were no issues. Everything was good. The community was fine. It was pretty much everything you would want a place like that to be."

"It was very nice. They sent me a lunch home with me, and it tasted good. They showed me a room that was being painted and no one was living there. Somebody had just moved out and it was alright. It was fine. I saw their dining room, their meeting room, their living room space, and there was a nice library. It was clean. The staff was very friendly."

"We toured Brookdale Baywood. They had a good restaurant. The rooms were clean. They were helpful. The food was excellent. They did a good job of cleaning the facility. They had good staff. The atmosphere was very congenial. The room size was average."

"I have my sister placed in Brookdale Central Chandler. I like the community because it's one story basically, and the fact that they have an outside area for them to be able to get out of the room and experience the days and not have to be stuck in their rooms, which is what I like. The staff was very good at helping me to try to get everything organized to get my sister there, and then she finally was transported by the hospital to the facility. Right now, she is just waiting for her husband to be transported. Her husband is going to join her there in that facility. Because I work full time, I have no time to go see what they're feeding them, but I'm sure they're good just like any other place would be. I wouldn't have any doubt about it because they're very meticulous about trying to keep the residents happy. It's always clean. They're very polite and very good to me. I am sure that they would do the same for her in about how they treat her. I wasn't disappointed at anything about getting her in there. It's very well handled. The staff in the front office was great."

"I went to Brookdale East Arbor. The one thing that I liked was there were only 50 residents. And the rooms, they had a living room, a bedroom, and a bath. It was great. It all had windows that faced out into a yard. People were friendly. And it felt like you had gone home. It was a family residence. It was very beautiful. The landscaping was well done and they had a lovely patio, both on the north side and the east side where all the residents were. My husband and I spend a lot of time outside, so that was a plus for us."

"I moved into Heritage Village Assisted Living & Memory Care. They're very caring people that help take care of things. If you need help, they're right there. The food is good, and I gained weight, and that's not good. It's a very friendly place. They have someone they call a housemother, and she runs around a lot, comes in, and makes sure everything's all right. You can always call her if you need something. I've never had an issue since I've been here. The staff is so helpful. The facility is very clean. It's perfect. If there's a mess, it's taken care of right away. Places like this are expensive. This place is very close to my daughter's house. I'm only a half-mile away from her."

"Brookdale Chandler Ray Road was a lovely community and very appealing, but the fact that the room that the staff showed me was so small bothered me. I know he has bigger rooms, and I would be willing to look at that, but if I had to make a choice today, Brookdale would not be the one I would choose. The staff was excellent. He was very well informed and he understood very much my needs. He was trying very hard to meet my needs, so I was very impressed with him. I saw the dining area, but I did not get to eat their food. This place only had 45 residents, so there's a very small dining area, but it was very, very clean. They had tablecloths on the table. It was just very nice. It was so cold we didn't go outside, but through the windows, it looked like a lovely place to sit and visit, walk around a little bit, or just sit in the sun and read a book."

"I went to look here. The location was great for my mom. They have lots of activities, and all meals are included. The people were great. The menu in the dining area was great. They showed us the calendar of activities they have available. The rooms were of good size, and the common spaces were good too."

"Acoya Mesa was very good. I was impressed with them. They had it together. I went there and they were very professional. They could answer questions for me. The staff was very friendly. I didn't have anybody negative. The work that they do is very difficult. The facility was clean, and that's one thing I look for. I didn't see anything that looked like it had not been cleaned. Everything looked fresh and good."
