I am living here. It's good and they do a good job. They have good people and it?s a nice facility. The meals are available from 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 at night. They're good, there's a good variety of food available, and the servers are excellent. They have a gym and pools available here in the community.

I looked at The Groves. It's what I liked. I felt very comfortable with the girl who took me on the tour. She knew all the people in the memory care. She greeted them by name. I liked the way it was set up, but mostly it was her, she was so knowledgeable about the patients that were there. And I thought that would probably be a good place for my mom. I saw several seniors in different areas of their memory care. I saw some outside, some watching TV, some in the dining area, and I saw them walking around. They can eat whenever they want. They have a nice, little beauty/hair styling area, a doctor that comes a couple of times a week, and transportation. I saw a lot of staff on the floor. The facility is very pretty, and clean, with comfortable seating. The dining area wasn't fancy but it was sufficient for the seniors there. It was pretty outside.

My mother was a resident of the memory care area at The Groves. We moved her there for her safety, when her dementia was causing falls. We were promised good meals, activities, daily morning walks in the fresh air, reading times, etc, and on this basis, chose The Groves. What we experienced was literal warehousing of the residents; they were just put in wheelchairs and sat all together in front of a TV all morning. The food we saw when we visited was something no one would want to eat. My mother was continent, but there was not enough staff to take her to the restroom as needed, so she ended up in diapers for their convenience. After lunch, they put them in bed until dinner, then after an inedible meal, get them ready for bed. It appeared there was not enough staff for the number of residents, and the head RN was terminated shortly after my mom arrived. They got COVID in the facility and my mother died a week later. My sister and I agreed we would off ourselves before we would be in that type of care. Bottom line - we were misled as to how my mother would be cared for and we would never have chosen this facility if we had known how it really was

The Groves is beautiful and relatively new. The staff was very personable. They have many activities. They can accommodate individuals who are independent in apartments or may need some occasional assistance. It's very impressive. They have gardening, a library, an exercise room, and cards. They provide bus transportation to the casino and to shopping around the area. They seem to be very focused on meeting the needs and wants of the residents there.

The thing that stood out the most about The Groves was their chef and their dining room. It was way over the top. It was so neat. They have fresh linen on every table and their chef comes out and talks to everybody about the meals, what they like, and what they don't like. He takes a note of that. The staff that is serving everybody has a bow tie on. They were dressed nicely. I don't know if you can get any better than what they do, even at a high-class restaurant. The apartments were nice, but they were a little on the small side and a little outdated. The facilities were pretty good there. They had everything that I think everybody else had, like the movie theater, the salon, the physical therapy, and a good staff. As we walked the halls, everybody who worked there greeted us with a smile, introduced themselves, and told us about their work.

The Groves was lovely. It's quite new, but they had no kitchens. It was just a kitchenette where you could maybe make a cup of coffee, but no stove and no microwave. They didn't want people cooking well, which I understand. One or two meals a day are included. It was very expensive. The staff was very helpful and had lots of ideas.

There wasn't anything wrong with The Groves necessarily. It's more of a facility, so there's just a lot more people there. It doesn't have a home feel to it. The staff was very professional. It looked like they had a decent selection of food on the menu. There are several options every day. They have an outdoor patio area. The memory care rooms were clean. It looked a little outdated. Maybe they could use some fresh paint or something. It was just kind of old.

I am choosing them for my parents. It really meant more for what they would be needing in assisted living. The staff member was friendly and very open. They knew all of the residents' names, even as they went by. Dining was from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There was a salon, a movie theater, a gym, and free transportation within ten miles.

I chose the Community because it had assisted living and it had the facilities that my sister would need. The place was satisfactory and attractive. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The dining area was very nice and very spacious.

It was very nice. It didn’t have separate living places, but it was quite nice. One of the things that I really liked was that they didn’t have a pre-arranged meal time, so you can eat any time you want to. They served three meals a day. The staff was very informative and very friendly. They showed me a one-bedroom apartment and a room in the memory care center. You just sign up and they will provide you a shuttle to your doctors' appointments. They had an exercise area, a crafts room, and a beauty salon. They had a separate kitchen if you wanted to make something on your own.

It was very professionally done, and the director was very professional. The whole tour itself was very good. They treated us to an excellent lunch. The facility itself was beautiful and offered a lot. The reason why it’s not going to really work for us is because my dad would not be able to thrive there at all. As part of my mom’s dementia, my dad has to be with her all the time. The facility was very impressive, and the apartments were gorgeous. They had a hair salon and a lot to offer. It’s top notch, and there’s nothing missing. I can’t think of any area that could improve on.

It is really modern, built just about a year ago. They have a good staff, and it's a good place. The food in the memory care is not as good as the one available for the assisted living people. Yesterday, my wife went on a scenic tour; they took her in a van and drove around town. The assisted living part has a pretty substantial library, but the memory care area has a small library.

I personally liked them. It was very clean and smelled clean, not old. They didn't have a time schedule for what time you can eat. This was the only place that had an open dining hall and a personal chef all day, so whenever anyone was ready to come down and eat, it was available to them. It was very accommodating for the elderly. The staff was absolutely beautiful. The residents were happy. Nobody was prompted to say or do anything. They were genuinely caring, nice people, and that was huge to me. They made the best impression ever. The manager that was there at the time helping the people was just amazing and kind. The people were absolutely incredible. Two of the older women invited me to come play bingo, and a guy said he's happy there and that it's a great place. They'll do everything they can to try to get people out of their rooms and be social. I like the fact that this place was mindful of people being in their rooms.

I visited here. The staff was actually very professional. It was a very clean environment, and it exceeded my expectations. It was a two-story facility. It was a large facility. It was immaculate. They were still performing some of the works when I was there, but they were gracious enough to let me come in, have an interview, and do a tour. They hadn't officially opened, so I appreciate that they were very accommodating. Everything was handicapped accessible in all the rooms, which I thought was a plus. They had a hair salon, a theater, a balcony, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces; all the amenities were there that you could possibly think of. They have a game room. They had plenty for people to do at their leisure time. They had a bus that would take them to various activities and things around the community for free. On the first floor, they had a facility for people who were elderly and who had behavior issues like dementia and things of that nature. So, they would have their own area with their own staff. They had studio apartments, and it ranged from 340 to 473 square feet. The one bedroom was from 475 to 557 square feet. They had two bedrooms that ranged from 642 to 909 square feet. They had a kitchenette, a living room, two bathrooms, and a closet. It had 24-hour staff. It was secured and safe. It was pushed back a little bit from the street. There was traffic on all sides. However, the way that they did the building, you really don't hear the traffic, which really surprised me When you went into the rooms, you don't hear it at all. They had any time dining and weekly housekeeping.
