"Liberty Assisted Living Home was a beautiful house, clean, and smelled good. The staff during the tour was very sweet and very helpful. She was the owner of the home, so I was impressed by that. She took the time to meet me, and she was very knowledgeable. When I did ask her something about Medicare, she didn't know, but she texted me the name of somebody familiar with those types of questions. Even on the items that she didn't know, she made an effort to direct me to someone that would know, so I liked that. The dining area looked nice. I didn't dive into the activities a lot, but when I was there, it looks like most of the residents were in the living room area watching TV. They said they take them out on the back porch and enjoy the weather. I liked it."

"My father is in MorningStar Senior Living at Golden Ridge. I have absolutely good things to say about them. Experience is outstanding. They were immediate in contacting me. I was welcomed and had a tour. They answered all of my questions. There was a vacancy, so my dad was able to move in quickly. They were very friendly. They were just outstanding: everyone. One of the things I really like is that they called me immediately. They were the first facility to call. MorningStar called me. I had a live voice, a live body to speak with. I met with them quickly. He has moved in, and he loves it. He absolutely loves it there. They have a variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinners. There are sandwiches and hot food. You can have breakfast (all day breakfast), lunch, or dinner. They always have a soup of the day.They generally have some sort of fish or seafood on Fridays. They have your menu for the entire month. They usually have a special every day. I have to see my dad twice a day. H's diabetic, so I'm there with him. I see the menu. There is a huge, huge variety. It's not the same thing every day. The meals that are supposed to be hot are hot. There's chicken, beef, pork, and one day they had meatloaf. My goodness, I haven't seen meat for a long time that was very well seasoned. It is not overseasoned. Because he's diabetic, I always ask him what he's had to eat that day, and he selects different varieties of things. It's just unbelievable. It's like going to a restaurant with what they do and what they have. The environment is so nice and clean. It's just wonderful. They have different activities. They had a Valentine's Day party with decorations. They have a heated pool with a spa. They have exercise classes. They have a salon for men and women for hair and nails. There's a little group of men that meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They invited my dad and they sit around and chit chat. My dad just moved in, and they invited him. Everybody is so friendly. "Oh, you're new, what's your name?" It's beautiful, brand new, and gorgeous. It's clean. It's marvelous."

"This is a great facility in that is is totally self contained. There is a care center, an assisted living apts and independent living. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff is friendly and open with everyone. They greet residents by name and seem to know family & visitors when they approach them. There is a branch bank on the grounds plus a convenience grocery store. A resident need not leave the property if they wish not to. there is also a coffee shop where several residents were sitting about visiting with each other and reading the paper, they greeted other residents as they entered the shop, they are hobby & craft shops also - a quilting studio, library, barber shop, beauty shop, church services for all denominators regardless of what religion a person is, there is also an exercise program which is voluntary and people there were very friendly and accepting of all who joined in whether they could do the excercises or not ( I saw one resident assisting another resident who had balance problems with the excercise) there is also rehabilitation services to help residents with balance and strength and the staff was very patient and kind with all the residents. I felt very comfortable at this facility. "

"I know two friends at Rock Creek, and their spouses say it's really good with really friendly and helpful staff. I went there to visit my friends, and it's very good. I had a snack, and it was really good. They have two different dining areas. There's one for people that need help more than the other, and the other was for the people that are able to help themselves a little better. They have people in there watching over everybody. The rooms are locked; people that work there have a key and can open any door they went. They have furnished rooms and a beautiful courtyard, so you can look out the windows and see the courtyard and trees. It's really pretty, and you can sit out there. It's also very clean. "

"This is a nice medium-sized facility. The building is one story. The building and grounds are well maintained. They have lots of palm trees and a beautiful courtyard with flowers and greenery. There is a patio and walking areas. All the rooms are one bedroom apartments. They are private or semi private.All are handicapped equipped and have alarm system.They do not cook as all meals are provided and snacks. They have a nice dining room which is restaurant style. The food is very good. They have an ice cream parlor. This so nicely decorated and set up like a town square which looks as you are in the french quarter in New Orleans. They have a beauty salon,sitting and activity area and have internet access. Outside in the courtyard they have beautiful like botanical style gardens you can walk in. The do assisted memory care and have available home health and hospice who can come in as needed.The hav a nurse on 7 days a week and doctors who come in. All caregivers are certified. They can transport ot appointments. The staff is very caring and friendly and it is a fun place to live. They have lots of activities in house as exercises, bingo, cards, games, birthday and theme parties. There are sing-a-longs and entertainment.They go out shopping and to events as they are able. This is a very impressive facility. "

"My husband is at Adobe Country Gables. The owner is so considerate, warm, and runs his house like a home. He said, "The people here are like our family. We even have little birthday parties." So this is more of a family kind of setting, which is unusual, and I wanted my husband in a small facility like Adobe Country Gables, not a large one. Their nurses are cheerful and outgoing. Everybody is welcome to go there at any time during the day. You don't have to make an appointment to come and see them, which is good. I like that. My husband was excited about the food yesterday. They had homemade stuffed green peppers for lunch, and he was very happy with it. They have a big outdoor area with full grass, palm trees, and chairs. It's really like a home. Also, my house is just ten blocks from this community, so I know the neighborhood. The owner said he's had this facility for years, and he seems very concerned and considerate to what your needs are. "

"I went to Avista Sun City West. I loved it, I thought it was very nice. They have different communities set up, so as a person progresses in their Alzheimer's, they can move them into another community to meet their needs. And I like that idea, I thought it was very good. I liked it a lot. They were wonderful. The staff was great, and it had a very pleasant setting. That was very close to me. I could walk there if I had to see my husband. I loved that it's set in a community of homes, so you feel like you're part of the community. I think they said there was someone who had COVID and they were in lockdown, so we were only able to go view a room that would look like the room my husband would be in. And they took us to the dining room, the kitchen area, and the congregational area. It had a fireplace and a TV, and everybody was cozied up there with their blankets. I want to sit down and snuggle in with them. It felt so relaxing and peaceful. I was very impressed with them. The few people we interacted with were cheerful, they seemed professional, but very real, not phony, and very nice people."
