We toured Life Stream at North Phoenix. I liked that it was a more tranquil type setting. You walked through from one building to another, but it was like walking through a garden. I liked that atmosphere. I liked that everyone had their own carport. I like those things. My mother's not someone who would get out and go about, but my sister and I visited that. And then again, my brother. So, we did like it. We were interested. This is independent living. They have a breakfast thing. There's at least one meal. Everybody had at least one. It wasn't anything I was worried about. The only thing I didn't like was its location because once you get in there, you're in your environment. But to get there, it's off a busy street, and it's a little weird. Everything was supplied. There was no smoking. They said it was not even a specially designated area. So, they were going to be working on that because I think a lot of older people still smoke. They have an activity person. I talked to her several times. She plans the events for the week, or the day, or whatever they're going to do. It seemed nice. If you really don't want to be bothered, you go to your place, open the door, and look at the flowers. That's how I looked at it. The person who took us on the tour was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable. She was able to answer the questions I had. It was clean and neat, but it wasn't spectacular.

One thing I like about LifeStream at North Phoenix is that it's close. I looked at their independent living community, and it was just a nice tour. The calendar for the activities is great for my mom, as well, and she needs it. Instead of going inside a building like in a hotel, she gets her own individual sort of home that has a front door and a little patio in the back. The residents get fed once a day, but that's good enough for my mom. It was clean and nice, and it's a gated community where she can't get out at night. It was just a nice setup. It's a clean and friendly environment. They have a really nice community center, too, with puzzle rooms, meditation rooms, and reading rooms. It has a big kitchen and its own salon. My mom can make her own appointment right there. I don't have to go get her one or take her somewhere else. Overall, it was the best when I looked at what she needed. The other thing is that I don't wanna have to move her for the next step of care. They don't offer the next levels of care, but I can bring anybody in to help her clean, to be with her part of the day, or just help her. No matter what stage she gets to, she can stay. That was a big concern for me, and I know with dementia or Alzheimer's, it will be hard for them to move. The appliances are there, but you do have to furnish the apartment with a bed, couch, and if you want a microwave or a toaster oven.

Our tour at LifeStream at North Phoenix went very well. I liked the location and I liked some of their options. I'm looking for a two bedroom, two bath apartment and they had a couple that really would have fit my needs. They weren't available at the moment, but then they wouldn't have to, because I'm not looking right at the moment. The staff was very nice.

We toured LifeStream at North Phoenix, and they had a wonderful staff. The facility was well laid out. You had to drive and walk to go to the dining room. They were patio homes with adjoining walls, and you had your own carport. They had buildings where they held church services, bible studies, exercise classes, crafts, and movie nights. The dining area was just a big room with portable tables and chairs. The dining room wasn't much, but the food smelled wonderful. Everything was clean and nice, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful.

My mom is all settled in at LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Northeast Phoenix, and our experience has been good. The homes are very well-made and very nicely built. It's a community of friends, it's a very social community, so they like that. The staff is very good. They're very attentive to the people that live there, and they're very good about getting them anything that they need. Also with COVID, they're very cautious. Any time that anyone tests positive, they send out an email telling us that someone has tested positive and to please refrain from visiting until they test clear. The meals are medium, my mom is fine with it but it's not like a formal dining room. They have a full menu, and the meals are more like a sandwich in a bag. They have church and activities, although my mom does her own activities and goes out a lot. Some units have an outdoor area and some units don't because part of it is desert and part of it is green grass. The overall facility is very nice and pretty inexpensive. The staff is very good.

I moved into independent living at LifeStream and it's very good. They feed you one meal a day, either lunch or dinner, and the food's been pretty good. Whenever you want to have something that needs to be worked on, the staff comes and fixes it. I have a 2-bedroom apartment, with one bath, a living room, and a kitchen. It's freshly painted and there's a new faucet in the kitchen and bathroom. They have a list of activities each month, but I havent gone to anything except the men's breakfast. The cost is reasonable.

LifeStream is a great place to live. I am at independent living and the people are very warm. It's like a little village, it's all a 1-story apartment, and you have a carport cover for your car right near your front door. We do Tai-Chi, there's a swimming pool and we also have exercises at the pool, we have movies on Friday nights and there's bingo. We also organize a play for the seniors here twice a year. It's a gated community and very safe. We're like an extended family.

I thought Lifestream was great. It was nice and clean. They're not high rises. They're just side by side, and they have nice facilities. They have nice activities, too. So I thought that was very nice, plus it's very close to me. The staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating.
