My mother is now in Alta Vista. It's a nice place, it felt like home, and it's got lots of amenities. She has lots of help and she just feels more comfortable there compared to several other places we took her to. Her room is very nice and very clean, and the staff is very helpful. The food is really good, unlike where she came from previously, so she's glad. It's' more like being in a hotel room, it's got a nice feel to it. They have two restaurants on-site, a salon, a gym, and a library, and they do activities and those kinds of things. The move-in experience was very good, we were able to move in some furniture a couple of days early. We've had a couple of things to work out with the staff but that was worked out since. It's a little bit higher priced than the others, but I think she's getting good value for the money.

Alta Vista was a little rundown at the edges, not terrible or anything, but just not as nice as the place I chose. I was not as impressed by the people, although they were nice. They were just as enthusiastic and as engaging. The rooms were nice.

My impression of Alta Vista is very good. It felt like a nice apartment complex. It is well-maintained and very nice. The staff are very gracious people. The dining area looks nice. They have all kinds of activities to do and places they could go, like field trips and dinners out. It's really great. They have a haircutting place, nice grounds, and a workout room. They have good amenities. The staff was great.

I will be moving into Alta Vista. I was very impressed with the place. They were very professional and they really went out of their way to be able to help me and I appreciated that. The dining area was beautiful, and the food was good. The apartment was wonderful, and the kitchen was beautiful. I was able to talk to some residents playing dominoes, and they had nothing but good things to say about the place.

Alta Vista was very nice and very clean. They had nice amenities and a lot of activities that people could get involved in. I think they had two dining rooms, and both of them were very nice. The meals that they had looked quite good. Their staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. It looked like they took good care of everything.

Alta Vista was great. It's a modern and upscale, higher-end place. I just met the marketing person, but I did observe some staff helping the residents. I liked that they were wearing uniforms and were very clean and looked more like a traditional caregiver. That was nice. The marketing person was very helpful, very informative, and explained all of the different options and activities. They have a beauty salon, a movie theater, and a club room where there was a lot of clubs meeting. They had an exercise room, and there was a computer room where people were doing a lot of puzzles and playing some kind of card game. That place had a lot of activities. I just saw a video of the room. They were too full, so I wasn't able to see a room. We got to tour everything but an actual room because they were all full. It was very modern and well-kept. The grounds were beautiful. It looks like a great place for active people.

My mom is staying in Alta Vista Independent Living. It's a beautiful place, it's clean, well-decorated, and beautiful. The people are nice. They have a restaurant, they've got a movie theater, they do bingo, and they've got a lot of activities in there. It's a nice place. Her room is pretty spacious, she's got a 2-bedroom with a big patio. The rooms are nice and large enough for all her furniture, though the kitchens are small, they try to encourage the residents to go to the restaurant to eat. But the kitchens are still big enough so she's able to bake or cook. The food is really good. I haven't personally tried it, but my mom says it's very good and they have a good selection. The staff is nice and helpful. If she were to need help, she just pulls the cord so she can get someone to come up and help her with something if she's not feeling well. Recently, she had to be taken to the hospital so they called 911 for her. I wouldn't say that the food is spectacular, but it's decent. So they're good and they came pretty fast and helped her. The place is really clean, really pretty, and nicely done. It's expensive in my book, but it's worth it with all the things they've got to offer. They take you in the van if there are places you need to go, they have a lot of things so it's worth it.

We met very nice people at Alta Vista. It's just that they didn't fit my brother-in-law's needs or the budget we have available. The tour was very good, and we're very impressed with the facility in general and the amenities that it offers. If you were not needing memory care, then you would have the ability to move into it. The issue with Alta Vista was that the memory care unit only has an eight-person capacity. They have one opening, but all of the other residents were women. We just did not feel that my brother-in-law would feel comfortable in that kind of setting. With eight people, it's very small. It's almost like an afterthought for them. It was very small with very few rooms, and no outside lighting; it was a little bit dim in there. The rest of the facility was really first-rate. The staff who gave the tour was very, very helpful. I was very impressed with the people that we talked with. They were very friendly. It was very well located. It's less than half a mile from the hospital. If a person was to need emergency care, it would be very readily available. All of the surrounding other services seemed to be springing up around the hospital. They were very, very close by within a couple of blocks. It was very centrally located. It was a good location.

Alta Vista was a very nice and very beautiful place. The staff tried to answer our questions and their food was awesome. They have more than one option. The dining area was very clean and very nice. The grounds were nicely kept as well. One of the perks of the location is it's across from the hospital on the west side. So, it's a great facility, but it's just not affordable for a lot of people.

We toured Alta Vista. It's an older place and we want something newer. The price was reasonable, though. We only talked to one person, but that person was knowledgeable. They have pretty much everything. They have meals, laundry, they have a salon, and a small gym. The place was clean. But the rooms we saw were too small. You really couldn't walk to anything from it, but they take you places.

Alta Vista was top notch. If and when we need a place, we would certainly consider Alta Vista for ourselves. The place, as much as it is assisted living, is also very independent living. People have their own apartments that are excellent. The staff is quite informative. The apartments are very nice, very updated, and very clean. They're very safe in appearance. The facility was excellent, it was over the top, and it was almost like resort living -- that's how nice it was. The location is good. It's off a main road, but a step back from it. So the location is excellent. They also have the option of being brought into town. They have a bus that takes people around to stores, doctors' appointments, and hairdressers' appointments, not that they need to go anyplace else. They have a hairdresser right there on site, but there's a bus that will take you places. When we were in the dining area, it was very clean. It didn't smell dirty. It didn't smell like leftover food or a dirty dishwasher. It was very clean. They had some of the desserts in a refrigerated case on display. The dining room is open all the time. During the day, people go and get tea, coffee, and snacks. It was very nice.

I went over to Alta Vista. It is a beautiful place. They have a very small memory care, but they didn't really have the things set up to deal with the level of care. My wife wears Depends, and she needs to be toileted, showered, and pretty much fed. She just totally needs to be looked after, and they weren't really staffed to handle that level of Alzheimer's. That's what they told me anyway. It's a big, beautiful place, but they did not have the level of care that my wife needed. They were very up front, but then the lady sat down with me and actually made phone calls to other facilities to see if they dealt with her level of care, and if they had any openings, so she was very helpful in trying to assist me with my endeavor to place my wife. It was modern and clean. It looked like a five-star hotel. It felt homey.

My father will be moving into Alta Vista. It's an excellent, fantastic place. I would advise anybody to move in there. It was clean. Everything was laid out beautifully. He got a room with a balcony with a view, and he's got a washer dryer in his room. The bathroom and shower had safety rails, and there's a sitting area in the shower. He's got a full kitchen. It's just excellent. The people were just smiling all the time. They were happy. The staff was helping the ones that needed help. They had a doctor that's there 24/7, which I like. They had call buttons in their rooms like a hospital does, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. They carry a call button around their neck if they need help anywhere in the building. It was outstanding. They have two restaurants, and the food was excellent. They have a full menu to pick from. I talked to the people that were living there and they were really happy with it. Everybody looked healthy and they were playing games and laughing.

I will be moving into Alta Vista. I like everything about it. It was independent rather than assisted living. I have a washer and dryer in that apartment and everything, so I'm very pleased with it. I would grade them just as high as you can get because I wanted to move to independent. That is the main reason for me leaving my place. I want to leave assisted. I do not need assistance in anything. I'm able to do everything here and then some. I was very pleased with what I saw. I liked the independence mostly, but everything was one step higher than where I am currently. I liked the staff very much. She impressed me as being an honest person. I could have a meal, but I never ate. I assume it's good because it's independent living. Eating is extra there and you have to pay for the meals. It was very nicely maintained and beautifully designed. It was excellent. I think they planned everything beautifully and it was a more recent building than where I am. They kept independent living separate from the assisted living. It was very nice. I was very impressed with the way it was organized and administered, and it just seemed like everything was OK.

Alta Vista in Prescott is too far for me. It would have been all right, but I don't drive that far anymore. I went to see their independent living. It's been weeks, but I know they had everything I wanted and everything I needed. It was just too expensive. The staff was excellent though.

Alta Vista is very nice and clean. The people that I spoke to seemed to really like the place; so it's good. It seemed to be really organized, and frankly the people that I saw seemed to be happy campers there. I talked to two people about the food, and they said "it varies, but for the most part it's good." They said it was a great place to live. The staff I spoke with was very informative, answered all my questions, showed me everything I wanted to see, and seemed to be very candid. She's had a lot of good suggestions in my mother's situation. It's a nice place, but it's a high rise and has multiple floors. It is not a single floor.

We toured Alta Vista for myself and my husband, and it was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was just right, as far as how big it was for us. The food was wonderful. The people were nice and the apartments were beautiful. We only met two staff members, and they were a five. The food was delicious. The place is on a hill which makes it inconvenient for people to go up and down, but it is a beautiful place. It was well kept and well cleaned.

My experience with Alta Vista was great. The only issue I had with my visit is that I wasn't allowed to tour the place. I only got to see one room, and because of COVID, I wasn't allowed to tour. The lady I talked to was very informative, gave me anything I needed for information, and even followed up and sent some information I requested. That's the only person I talked to, so it was very good. The one apartment that I saw was OK. There was a snowstorm that came by, so they were just cleaning it up when I came in. I liked the apartment, but it was a bottom apartment, and my mom wouldn't like that. There was no view, no nothing, and it was kind of dark and dingy. I needed to see something that was going to be what she would actually be in. It would have been helpful. Because of COVID, their activities weren't as much, so I asked her for their pre-COVID activities, and she was going to send a list back to me, so I know what exactly it will be here in a couple of months. It was very informative. They don't really have a courtyard, so that was kind of disappointing. I walked around the building myself, and they had a little dog park, but no real areas to walk outside in. It's just a parking lot, but to make up for that, they also have a workout gym. My mom likes to walk, and she doesn't work out, so we'll have to find something better than that. That was one of the downsides.

I only toured and selected one place, which was Alta Vista. My dad has moved into this place. Because of the lockdown, I haven't actually been able to go in there myself and tour it, but based on my dealing with the people on the phone and them dealing with Dad and everything, it seems like a very nice place. My dad is happy with it so far. All the meals are included. They have limited activities, limited because of the quarantine and all. It's a beautiful place. I haven't actually been inside other than their meeting room, but it seems like good value.

My overall experience with Alta Vista, so far, has been wonderful. I have only dealt with a few people and they have both been very helpful and very nice. My mom is in a 1-bedroom apartment. I haven't been in it itself but I have been in one of them that has been shown for planning out, and they looked really nice. They have a gym, a spa, a movie theater, two restaurants, and different activities, but my mom hasn't partake in anything because she is still in the quarantine part of it. The value for money is wonderful.

They had lovely facilities and a nice dining room, but the price was just too much for me. Alta Vista is in its own little private area and has nice trees, but it’s really right in the city, so I wasn’t as impressed with it.

I did not like Alta Vista at all. It was huge, and I lost my way inside. I could not find my way out of the building. I did not get a good feeling from it. It is also the most expensive facility in town. It looked dirty, and I did not find the rooms to be nice even though it's the most popular facility in town. It does not have that personal touch and looks like a factory.

Alta Vista was our favorite. It was set up more for senior living, so I thought it was a little better designed than other places. There were many programs designed by the staff, like outings, bus services, and that kind of thing. The rooms were a little bigger and more set up for senior living and had a little bit different feeling, than other places. Alta Vista is the place I would want to be.

Alta Vista was very pleasant and had a very nice location and nice staff. It has a very rich ambiance, and there were happy people there. The staff had been very friendly and very courteous. It seemed a very active community with a lot of card playing, Bingo, socializing, and spending time together.

Alta Vista was a very lovely place. If something happened to my husband, we probably would go there, but he's not ready. The staff was very pleasant. When I cancelled, they were very forgiving and they said "Come and see us anyway." They had good people there ,and I thought they were very caring and very pleasant. They had a nice bunch of people living there too. We ate in the several dining rooms and they had very good food. Some of the apartments I would say their rooms were challenged. In other words, you would face a blank wall, but they always had some areas that are open to a view, which was very nice. It was kind of an elevation so you could see some of the town. I thought there were a little more reasonable in their prices.

I am in and out of the Alta Vista Community all the time and I will say the staff goes above and beyond to make sure residents and family are taken good care of. I will also say that it is policy for everyone that comes into the community to check in at the front desk. This is their home and people try all the time to just come in like they can do whatever they want when in actuality the lobby is the resident's home. I support the actions of the staff! They are amazing!!

I had a very bad experience visiting this facility An extremely rude chunky woman probably in her fifties, who is supposedly a staff member at the visitors center (she did not introduce herself), approached to me and created a conflict. I would never recommend this place to my elderly friends and relatives. This woman was screaming in a rage: This is my building!, meaning that she can do what ever she wants, including being rude with visitors. I found this place unsafe and unpleasant because of this staff member. I can only guess how she allows behave with retired elderly people, who cannot just leave this place as I did.

This is a new facility that offers senior apartment living and assisted living units. It is well thought out in the layout of units which come in a variety of sizes. It is open and airy with great views of the town and mountains. It is near downtown but very private and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful. The restaurants have the best food of any facility I have visited and a wider variety of offerings than in usual in this area. It is worth considering by those seeking maintenance-free apartment living or assisted living.
