"We are moving to Windsong Villas at Good Samaritan Society-Prescott Valley into their independent care. We have looked at a lot of the different possibilities around here, and we found it to be the most economical. The staff was friendly. They're wonderful and helpful. The food was good too and just enough for us. One meal a day is plenty for us. It's not fancy, but wholesome. I think the layout is very good. They seem to be very helpful and very conscientious about their place. The location is ideal for us because it's in Prescott Valley, where we've lived for six years. We didn't want to leave the town. It's right downtown near all the amenities too."

"We picked Orchard because everybody we talked to has been so nice and said they couldn’t be happier here; we’ve talked to about 20 people. We do everything ourselves right now because we’re still able-bodied. They have a big swimming pool, a recreation center, a workout area, and they also have a billiard room. I am very much happy here, this is the first place we looked at and we didn’t look any further. They have very lovable association fee and they provide water, trash pick-up and the only thing we pay is the electric and gas. "

"Lampliter Village is a very nice community. I got a double-wide trailer all to myself. Most of all, it's cost worthy; it's most reasonable. It's an older establishment here, so all the plants and all the trees and everything is older, so it's a lot prettier. It has bushes everywhere, and it has an automatic watering system. Everything is well-groomed and kept clean; it's just beautiful. Like my trailer was built in 1985, and it's been refurbished, so it's all new walls inside out and a new roof. Everything is extremely neat and cheerful. It's built so that a senior won't have to do a lot. It's very low maintenance. I didn't refurbish it. The people re-did it all before they sold it to me. I met the one that lived here before, and she was the one that re-did this place. They have a senior area where they have parties and that kind of things for holidays. They have an inside heated pool, have a ring toss area, and they have a dog park. If your dog potties it out there, you have to clean it up like any place now. That's the only thing that they worry about. They allow two animals to a resident. Everybody has no more than two animals. They've had people moved in and then brought their grandchildren, and you can't do that. For seniors, having that around with a whole lot of kids doesn't work out because there are a lot of seniors with illnesses and things like that, and they need to be quiet."

"We have our aunt under the care of the great people at Hillsman house. She has thrived under the care being provided by the staff and the result is her circulation problems have improved dramatically as well as her being able to reduce her oxygen use. She tells us she loves the staff and is so appreciative of their kindness and helpfulness. We are grateful that they keep us informed regarding her condition."
