"The care that is provided is EXCELLENT. Everything about the premise bright and uplifting. You can tell that everyone is happy and well provided for. Rosie is a wonderful care provider and is always interacting with everyone. You can tell she is in this business because she truly cares about her residents. The rooms are very beautiful and makes you feel right at home. Bathrooms look amazing especially for an assisted living home. You really have to go over there and check it out the views in the back are fabulous. Overall El Dorado whole heartedly is the best place for care of your loved one."

"Overall, Haven of Camp Verde looked great. They've got plenty of staff, which is important. The rooms were clean. There were different activity rooms and different halls. I liked the dayroom that's off of one of the rooms because that's important to get some sunlight if the weather doesn't permit you to go outside. The staff seemed very nice and informative. They were doing a Trick or Treat thing that day, so there were a lot of people out in the hallways. The layout was good. The rooms were pretty large. There's a nice patio outback where my friend can have a smoke and be social with everybody. The staff during the tour seemed very warm and very caring, definitely asked the right questions to get a good fit for him, and was very informative. She told me a few things I didn't know, so that's good."

"As I write this review my effort will be to not leave out any component or staff member. My dad (who is 97) found himself a widower this past year. He has lived in Sedona for over 30 years. His life, friends, church, and doctors are all here. When we heard about Sedona Winds, Dad was excited and anxious to become a resident and begin a new chapter in his life. That turned out to be the best decision we could have made and we have never regretted it for a single second! The facility is beautiful and welcoming! Sedona Winds is small enough to feel like home and large enough to provide for individual needs. The grounds are immaculate! Inside is spotless and beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. Residents are allowed, encouraged, to display their artwork through painting and photography. The dining hall has a wall dedicated to Veterans. The maintenance crew is constantly in motion. They have gone above and beyond for my dad! It is apparent they take pride in their work. What struck me the most was their interaction with the residents. Not only do they know them by name, they also take the time to talk to them as they pass in the hallways! The cleaning staff is to be commended! Every two weeks his apartment is cleaned. Trash is picked up daily when left by the door. Dad's laundry is done each week! Their attention to detail does not go unnoticed! The staff at the front desk is welcoming, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I have visited several retirement communities in Albuquerque with friends who have family there. None of them have even come close to the compassion and professionalism of the ladies at Sedona Winds! The food and dining hall are outstanding! First, not only is the food delicious, but they offer an amazing variety and selection. The waitstaff is attentive and efficient! They know each resident and their preferences. When I visit my dad they know I drink coffee with cream! They are compassionate and accommodating. I find that exceptional because sometimes we "older" folks can be snarly and snippy. They never lose their smile or gentleness. The transportation provided is so terrific that Dad was happy, happy to surrender his driver's license! I thought that would be a battle between the two of us, but not so! My dad has never missed an appointment, whether doctor, shopping, breakfast, etc, Again, the care and patience are so appreciated! The activities offered.......where to begin? Yoga, exercise, happy (sparkling cider) hour on fridays with live music, library, movies, games and puzzles, once a month mystery excursion, a variety of speakers, animal presentations and therapy pets, and the list goes on..... my dad always has something he can participate in or just choose to relax in his apartment. I truly hope I haven't left anyone out. My friends here in Albuquerque think I'm exaggerating when I tell them about Sedona Winds. It is a blessing for me and I can sleep at night knowing Dad is safe, happy, and watched over. Thank you! "

"A wonderful day program filled with many activities, events, music and much more. My mother is happy here and this has become a major part of her life since she has Alzheimer's Disease. "

"This is a private home facility. The home is nice and well maintained as are the grounds. They are licensed for 6 residents. All bedrooms are private and bathrooms shared. They are handicapped equipped. There is a dining area and living room. They do laundry and housekeeping. All food is home cooked and they try to offer a variety. The food is good . Most residents they take are end of life and hospice type. There is a house nurse who comes in every two weeks and on call. All caregivers are certified. The owners live onsite upstairs. They do not have a house doctor and do not transport. They do have a company they can arrange transport with. The is very caring and it is a family oriented atmosphere. The activities are limited due to the type of residents. They do exercises, have a movie and popcorn day, and other activities are one on one. There is a front porch where the residents can sit outside. This seems a very good facility for these type of residents. "

"We found The Meadows of Prescott Valley for my wife. It's only 25 minutes from where I live. We were there for three to four hours. It's a home totally modified to accommodate people who need help. They even have a cabinet in there to heat up towels. You can take a shower sitting down on a chair. They have everything you can think of for people who need the assistance. I was very, very impressed with that. It's hard to tell if they're family members or they're staff, the way they deal with the people. They're very much like a family. They've got a beautiful area in the back, they can walk 'em out, they can walk around it."

"This is a private home facility licensed for 8 residents. Currently they are only taking 2 ladies. Otherwise they do all three levels of care. The home is very nice and well maintained. The grounds and surrounding area and views are great. there is shrubs, trees, flowers and greenery. They offer housekeeping and laundry service. The rooms will be private and bathroom handicapped equipped. They do home cooking and offer three meals a day and snacks. The food is good and there are choices. This is a very family oriented facility with the owners living onsite. The caregiver is licensed and they have a nurse who comes in. Also, if resident is somewhat ambulatory, they do transport for an extra fee to appointments. The staff seems nice and caring.They have been in business nine years. They do activities as movies and games at home and do outings for shopping,restaurants, and events. this seems like a really nice home. "

"Visited the facility a couple of times, invited to some of their fabolous halloween and christmas parties. Very fond of the owners, very attentive to the residents as well to all the visitors. The place is just beautiful, very well kept and open deck for residents to walk around. Definate recommendation, felt very welcome. "

"I toured Scott's Harbor. The level of care that they provide after interviewing with both the owner and the manager was very good. The cleanliness was excellent. The structure was not so good. The atmosphere feels very welcome and pleasant. The room size was just perfect for us. I don't know whether other people might like bigger rooms, but my wife was totally bedridden at that time, so they were fine for us."

"Rooms are not like home ,but very adequate for my situation...I am longest time resident here at 28 months.. Looked at 4 locations before settling here.. Management and staff are top drawer.. Facility is very well maintained and exceptionally clean.. Staff kindness to those in need is beyond expectations.. I give them a 5 star rating."

"Lighthouse Adult Care Home was nice, and it was expensive. My mother had excellent care there. The food was good. It's excellent care. It's a lovely place. The rooms were wonderful. It was a very nice homey situation. The atmosphere was wonderful. My mom stayed there for two years. Everything was wonderful. There was nothing bad about it at all. But there weren't any activities."

"Aspen Creek was very bright, very clean, and wasn’t cluttered. The residents were doing a variety of things instead of sitting in their wheelchairs in front of a TV. It had a good feeling to it. There was a big aquarium to relax near, a dining area, and the TV room. The dining area was very nice and bright. The rooms were nice and bright, clean, and homey. Terry had a nice manner and was very patient and compassionate."
