Rooms are small, very basic furnishings, no room for more. Nursing staff and rehab are awesome and caring. Not all aides are, only in particular. I can only speak of Unit 2. Admin is caring, really fo love their people. But day to day care was not up to standards. Many tweaks had to occur. Lost clothing, out of towels and gowns(??), 3 more serious things occurred, my cousin could not care for herself, and I was there daily to make sure she was. There was something every day I had to address. Overall, I’m told total upgrade in decor is coming- brightening the place up will help. Residents I saw were cared for - most of them- staff was always polite, except one aide that had a bad attitude. PT is excellent- both staff and PT room.

My grandmother moved into Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation. There's not much I like. It's a nursing home. It's everything I thought it would be. It's dark, It's gloomy. They seem to have a lot of activities that they have them participate in. I like how you can visit, and come and go as you please. The rooms are small. They have a very large staff. They're not all very helpful. People will treat you one way when you come in as a visitor, but how they treat the residents when their family or whomever is not around, I'm not sure. The room is dirty. They're outdated. They need to remodel. And they're very small, and they stuff two people in there. The food is terrible, it's equivalent to jail food. They accept Medicaid, so there is no payment for it. So, I guess you get what you pay for.

My mother's mental health was quickly declining. Her dementia was getting worse. My sister could no longer care for her and we found ManorCare. I went and took a tour of the facility and was impressed by the friendly staff and the homelike atmosphere. I even took my mother and she felt very comfortable here. Mom has been here about a month and she is still settling in but everyone from the care staff to the doctors as well as the front office has been very helpful and accommodating. I think we picked the right place for my mother and for our family !! An extra shout out to the Director and front office staff. We had a very tight deadline to move my mother and they were very helpful throughout the process. Thank you all for what you do !! God Bless !!

My father was at Manor Care at two different occurrences. The only reason we went back was because of the PT. The care is horrible. Nurses and assistants did not care for the patients and would take their personal work related issues out on the patients and patient’s family. My father was ignored whenever he would call for help. He hated the place and it broke my heart to see that Manor provided such a poor staff that actually called themselves nurses. Very unprofessional ,serious attitudes and weak knowledge of medical/prescription awareness. There were times when my father would question medicines given to him that he only needed the Med as needed. But was given everyday. Please research other facilities before leaving your love one at Manor Care. Patients deserve much better care after already trying to heal and get back to feeling better. The food was horrible for a diabetic with loaded carbs. Sandwiches and chips all the time. My Father passed a few weeks after leaving this facility. Again this place really need a major turnover in their nursing staff You have to expierence it for yourself in order to help others.

My mother spent time in this facility and it was the worst mistake we ever made! She is unable to walk and the very first day she was there I went to visit and she was soaked completely through with urine. I immediately reported to staff and it still took 20 minutes to get someone in the room. I was livid and it only got worse when they attempted to change her without cleaning her skin! There were a few nurses/caretakers who seemed to genuinely care about the patients but I cannot stress enough how few and far between they were. I felt that I needed to be there with her during every spare moment I had to ensure they were feeding and changing her. I cannot explain how uncomfortable it made me to think that if they treated her and other patients so poorly with family there, it had to be a lot worse when no one was around.

Therapy staff were great as was the nursing staff but the aides left a great deal to be desired. I am a former nurse and understand that the facility is severely understaffed with lots of staff working extra, however as someone who needed minimal assistance from the aides for personal care they frequently did not even do the minimal i.e. making my bed in a timely fashion. Additionally, when requested assistance, was frequently told "I'll let YOUR aide know or I have to pick up/deliver trays" instead of assisting.

My aunt stayed here for several weeks and I must say that the facility was impeccable! The Nursing Staff was very good especially Anna- she was very approacheable. The therapy staff was excellent. Aira was very good at what he does. He helped my aunt got back on her feet. The only issue that my aunt had was the quality of the food. Overall, this company is highly recommended!

The facility is very nice. However they're understaffed and the aids are stretched to the point where some residents are neglected. They try they're best but they can't be in multiple rooms at a time. The therapy staff is stellar and easy to work with. My major complaint would be the social workers, especially Joyce. She is not a pleasant person and not easy to get a hold of at all. If you leave her a message she never responds and dodges your phone calls. If it wasn't for the social workers I would have rated higher. Social workers should be more available and easier to connect with but the two that are employed here aren't at all especially Joyce.

ManorCare is near our home. It was a beautiful and excellent facility. It was clean. You don't smell pee when you walk in. The staff was very friendly, loving and caring. They were treating their patients the same way they would treat their mom or their dad. All of the staff, they were really concerned about their patients.

I went to Manorcare Health Services-Imperial on behalf of my aunt. The facility had an odor to it at the time of my visit. It smelled more like a hospital and didn't look as clean. It also didn't look convenient for the patients to get around in because the place seemed tight around. The staff was courteous at the time but I wouldn't recommend this facility to others. I think their price was too high for the way the facility looked. They need to improve on the appearance of the place.

My mom stayed at Manor Care Health for three months. They did a very good job, I was very happy with them. They were very good to my mother and they had plenty of staff which was unusual. They did a really good job.
