"I chose Bowling Green Rehabilitation because it was the only center that offered orthopedic physical therapy seven days a week. I was recovering from a replaced knee and I live alone. I wanted secure help and therapy, After the first weekend it was wonderful! The schedule was given everyday, meals were nutritious and flavorful, the staff worked very hard to make you comfortable. Every time you asked they were there. I also saw a top level of friendly interaction with all the other patients there. There were classes on health related issues, crafts, bingo, music, chats and many more. Many people participated. I have already praised and recommended this facility to my friends and whenever someone asks."

"My mother is going to move to Heritage Hall King George, and I toured the whole place. They do everything, they do rehabilitation, short-term care, and long-term care. I liked how when I went in it was very clean, and it's a place where it seems like she would be very comfortable. They have big rooms, nice areas for them to go outside to get air, they have a recreation room, and they have a huge cafeteria area. They also have another room that's like a commons area room where they can go and watch movies and different things, and they will take them on outings as well, so I was very impressed. They provide three meals a day. The person who gave me the tour was very polite and pleasant, she's very easy to deal with, and gave me a lot of information that I appreciated. She's helping me do the next step also, so I liked her a lot, her name was Carolyn or Caroline. They have a little garden area where they have some flowers out there, and they can see birds and things. It's in the middle of the building outside, but they have benches and everything where they can sit and look around, and it seemed like a very nice area that's nice and quiet as well."

"I had reservations about even visiting this facility based upon the horrible reviews on the web, however, I was EXTREMELY surprised upon my visit and interaction with the staff while there. This center is obviously under a new manager and she is dedicated to the 'betterment' of the care for each patient there. My loved one is there for rehab and the therapy is great. She doesn't much care a lot for the food but the manager assured me she would make sure her preferences were honored. All in all, I think this facility has been given a bad rap based upon a bad past history. I would recommend this center to anyone. By the way, it does NOT smell at all and the patients appear happy. "

"Westmoreland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is pleasant. They took my aunt from the hospital to their nursing facility. They have a friendly staff. It is a well-kept place. They have easy check-in and check- out procedures. The dining facility is clean. The living area is also clean, nice, and kept. The activity center is nice. Everything about the place is warming. She is in a shared room. It is clean. You get two rooms separated by a curtain, so it's got a normal institutional look. They have a reading area, a TV, a movie selection of DVDs that you can look at, books that you can read, magazines, and those types of things."
