The Harmony Collection at Hanover

My dad is moving into The Harmony Collection at Hanover. It's close to me and fairly new, like three years old. It was very clean. The residents there were happy. I've only been there a couple of times so far and they've been really good. Things could change in the next month, though. They've been helpful. Every time I call, they call back. So far, it's been nice. When you get the room, it's empty. The apartment that he will have is very big and spacious. It has big and nice granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. It has a big living room, a nice size bedroom, and a big bathroom. They have an opportunity to go to the grocery store twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have a lot of activities, too. They have something they call a happy hour where they have live entertainment on Tuesdays and Fridays. They have puzzle clubs and walking clubs. Supposedly they go on excursions outside, and they take them to places like maybe to a park or they take them to doctor's visits. They have some type of woodworking shop where the high schoolers come over and help them, or they teach them or help them in the woodworking shop. It seems like there's a lot of activities to do and that's one of the main reasons why we chose them. They have a nice dining area, restaurant style, where they come to serve you. It's pretty big. They also have a chef there and it's nice. So far, I haven't met a lot of the staff. I just met the lady at the front desk and the marketing lady and both of them have been excellent. So far, it's all on paper and I have not really seen anything happening. They have a movie theater with a big, big screen. They also have a dining area if you want to bring your family in. It's a private dining area for them. Everyone I looked at was more money and they didn't offer independent living. Most of them only offer assisted living, where it's almost double in price.

It was such a pleasure to work with Danielle. She was very organized and efficient and I appreciated that she gave straight answers to any questions I had. She was very accommodating and I felt as though I was the only person with whom she had to meet today and I know she had plenty to do. She rates a 5+ in my book.

I like the location of The Harmony Collection at Hanover and the cost seems to be in our budget. The lady I met seemed very knowledgeable, but she seemed hurried when we were going through the tour. They have a salon and they seem to have a lot of activities.

I went to The Harmony Collection at Hanover. It was really good. I like the people there. The people were very, very nice. They followed up extremely well. All of those things I liked about it, but I could never get my mom signed up there. My mom just wouldn't go. They were very flexible and very good though. Their dining room was nice. Everything was good there. I like that. The staff who took us around was great. We had lunch there, and it was good. The building was well-kept.

I visited The Harmony Collection at Hanover. I didn't have anything that I didn't like. The rooms that we saw were nice. The facility was very nice. The services that they offer are appropriate. In independent living, they only provide one meal. The time of day I went, I didn't get to see a whole lot of the residents, but the staff informed me of the activities that they have and she showed me the activity room. They go out shopping and to dinner and they have entertainment that comes in. They have a van. They have a nice outdoor space. The dining room was nice. The facility was very clean from what I could see.
