My dad stayed in Harmony at Hanover. The care was good. The nurse aides were helpful. They gave my dad three meals a day. They gave him his medication and checked on him about every hour, so it was fine. He had an apartment with a living room and a bedroom. They did a lot of activities, but he didn't participate in any of them. They had a courtyard. They also had a dining room and an activity room upstairs on the second floor. We chose it because it was close to my home. It was 15 minutes from my house. It was a little bit expensive, but it was comfortable.

I toured Harmony at Hanover. The people were very nice. They cared about the people that they were taking care of. It was really clean. I was surprised it smelled like home. It was beautiful. I liked it. They let me see everything in the manager's office. They even showed me the part that was remodeled. The people there seemed to be happy. I loved the way it looked and how welcoming the workers were when you got there. They didn't know I was coming, and this is surprising. It was nice. Some people have a one-bedroom. Some people got a two-bedroom, and I think it was only one person who has a studio apartment. They had a bookshelf with books and games on it for the people to use, and it has a little garden there at the back.

Loved one lived in Memory Care which appears to be the neglected section of Harmony compared to rest of facility. Depressing decor that is brown and tan and sparse, nothing to cheer up or stimulate minds of residents. Observed most residents parked in front of a community tv all day with staff frequently on their phones not interacting with residents. Only activity was coloring, game shows and occasionally singing/music. Frequently encountered the smell of urine when entering secured wing. My loved one paid for incontinence care which was inconsistently provided, so it is not surprising that the smell was prominent. Unappetizing and low cost food served, my loved one was often not retrieved for meals—there seemed to be no routine practices to do so and those with memory issues seemed to be expected to know when to go to dining room for meals. . Observed residents being served the same meal with no consideration to preferences or what would appeal to seniors (eg comfort foods). An alternative wasn’t offered if my loved one didn’t eat what was served. Staff seemed to change often with many temps. The longer term staff were great and caring, but overworked and few remain. Weekends were the worst with no management visible and temporary staff that appeared to take advantage of that fact. A sad facility that seems to spend the least on those who need the most care.

I visited Harmony at Hanover and the people were very friendly. They offer me a lot. The rooms are nice. The apartment living was nice. We saw the biggest two bedrooms. That was a pretty good size. The staff were professional, informative, and knowledgeable of the facility.

My wife is currently at Harmony at Hanover. She is not happy, and she wants to be home. But I had to find a permanent place because she is not able to come home, and she needs memory care living, and the reviews on it were pretty good as well as the location, being close for me to go visit. The condition of the place is okay. Most of the staff members are good, but some appear to be a little lazy. For activities, they do some singing, they have some people that play some music like guitars and what-have-you, and of course, they watch TV. They have some games that they do that are pretty simple stuff. They do a little bingo and that sort of thing.

We toured Harmony at Hanover, and it went fine. The facility was new, it's only two years old. It was a great facility. It was clean and it smelled good. Danielle was great. She gave us a great tour, and she took her time with us. She showed us everything and we're delighted with it. The people seemed friendly, and the staff seemed to know everybody. The apartments were very large. We saw a group coming back, I think they had gone on a shopping trip. They had a library that the residents run. They had a theater for movies. They had a pub-type affair. Nothing ornate or fancy, just an area set aside for happy hours. They had a main dining room that's rather large, and then they had a smaller dining room that's more for the assisted living people that live in that building, but anyone can eat there.

We really did enjoy our tour of Harmony at Hanover. They offered a lot of activities, both on site and activities off site. There was a little difference in that they had the full independent living, nice, big size apartments with a washer and dryer, granite countertop kitchen, with a refrigerator and microwave, like you would think in an apartment. And they had more than ample space in the apartment. It was clean. But they did have like on this other side, I guess assisted living, like the way it's connected, for people that needed more care there. But, it was pretty nice too. We only met with one person, and the lady at the door. The outdoor space is an interior space to the surrounding buildings to keep everybody inside the facility, although you can come and go as needed to your apartment. They did have a nicer, larger than the other place, exercise room. Everything was like super modern, brand new, and maybe that's what made the difference. They had a library, beauty shop, puzzle room, craft room, pool table, and piano.

The staff members of Harmony at Hanover were very pleasant. The dining room and the sitting areas were very nice. They only showed us one apartment and it was small, but it was very nice. The place didn't smell. It was clean. There are not a whole lot of grounds around, but they have some nice courtyard areas at the back that you can go out and sit out. They were kept very well and very neat. They're not covered though, so if it was hot out, you'd have trouble sitting there. The front of the building was a parking lot. The facility was beautiful and set up nicely for somebody who didn't need a lot of assistance.

My mom has decided to move into the Harmony at Hanover. It was the best-priced value for her to have independence yet still be safe. It's perfect for a senior. There are very friendly, incredible group of people that live here and work here. Her apartment is perfect for a walker. She has plenty of room to get in and out of doors. There are lots of safety things for her. Like her shower is made for safety precautions and things of that nature. I think it's wonderful. They have a large variety of activities. I could not speak to them specifically because my mom is sort of new there. I know she's been invited to many different types of things from listening to music to book clubs or bible studies or things like that, but I don't think she's been able to participate yet. I have not eaten there, but my mother loves the food. I think this is an incredible facility. It's a great apartment. It's a really good place. I like it a lot. The staff are incredibly kind, they care, and they're nice. Everything is new in the facility.

My mom has been at the Harmony of Hanover for almost a month now. I think it was the best place for the amount of money that we had to spend to keep her safe. It was clean and everybody seemed to be on top of things. The staff are attentive to her needs. I think they're qualified. She eats the food well, every time I go there, she's eaten everything. They have activities and people come in and talk to them, but I haven't seen a lot of stuff. I think they do more in the assisted living part than memory care. They have a courtyard. They have a gym, and they have a movie theater.

We liked The Harmony Collection at Hanover very much. It was probably our top 2. It's a very relaxed and warm community. They had nice amenities. The meals were nice. They had good kitchen appliances available in the units. The balcony was enclosed, so it's like a sunroom, which was very nice and it was right across the street from the hospital, which was also nice. They also had in-house medical care like a doctor would come there every week and you could schedule appointments. If you had something more serious, you could schedule that and they would come to the facility instead of you having to go out. We talked to the chef about the types of food he would serve. We didn't eat there. The staff during the tour was very helpful. I went there twice, once I went by myself and talked to the same lady and then I scheduled to come back with my parents. That day they were preparing for a Friday happy hour, and they were planning a big Veterans Day celebration. My dad was in the Armed Services in World War II, so he liked that. It was brand new, which was part of the appeal also.

Harmony at Hanover was new and a little bit crowded. They had a different meal plan that I didn't like, and I don't think the person who toured me was familiar with all of the things they had available as maybe she should have been, but she showed me all around and was friendly. The place was also large, modern, and clean. They have a gym and a fairly large theater.

I'm currently doing respite care at Harmony at Hanover. My experience here has been a very positive one. The staff has been very accommodating and very attentive to individual needs. Overall, the facility is very welcoming, as well. It's clean, the apartments are certainly spacious, and it has met my needs. I think it's a very good facility.

The Crossings at Hanover (Harmony at Hanover) was very well maintained. The only thing I didn't like was that everything was on the first floor, so you have to use the elevator to get down. Nevertheless, they had an exercise room, each floor had a nurses station which I liked, and the rooms were very nice. The staff members were very courteous and pleasant. They had a couple of different places where the residents could eat. They had a big dining room and a cafe-type area, which was nice. If you don't want to sit with a large crowd, you can sit in a smaller area that has almost like a restaurant feel. I glanced at the activity calendar, and they had a wide range of activities. They also had transportation services.

My mother is in The Crossings at Hanover. The staff, from the receptionist, to the director, to the servers in the dining hall, are just beyond wonderful to her. The facility seems nice, but it's difficult being on the third floor. They allow pets and she would love to have her dog there. That's the only thing that's not great. The food we ate was good and they seem to be encouraging her to eat, which is a good thing. It's a nice looking facility.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The Crossings treated my loved one horribly and I wish we'd never moved him here. It was an awful experience for him and our entire family. The memory care unit and corporate are both horrible. They handled his dementia horribly, ignoring clear signs of his aggravation and confusion. Communicating with corporate is no better. They have no sympathy, empathy or passion for caring for senior citizens, it's clearly all about how much money they can bring in. I would strongly advise against moving anyone into the Crossings.

I moved my relative into this community about 6 months ago. There is a new administrator now that really seems to care about the residents, staff and the community as a whole. I've even seen him working on the weekends. I have really noticed a difference since the new management started and I am very happy with the Crossings at Hanover.

Staff friendly but often under staffed during peak hours. Meals are not prepared how the elderly are used to eating and my loved one doesn’t like their undercooked vegetables and chicken on the bone. Apple dishes have hard apples which elderly folks feel are undercooked. The three meals I had there were fine however I’m used to various types and textures of food and my loved one is not. Down home Cracker Barrel type food doesn’t exist here. Mealtime is understaffed and after 30 minutes of already having food and waiting and asking 3 times for a first glass of water, my husband went to the snack area and got our own water. Laundry looses some items that sometimes turn up in someone else’s room after we ask and complain each day. Due to re-scheduling, bath time or promises made by staff are not kept for time promised and loved one isn’t told until we ask about issue. Rooms and building facilities are clean, warm, and friendly and environment still has the new appearance. Since price just went up, perhaps they can get my dining help and better cooking experience.

I have my parents at The Crossings of Hanover. It is a new and very beautiful place. My parents have a wonderful apartment with separate living room, kitchen, bed and bath. It is perfect for their needs. There are plenty of activities and every thing they need is on site. They have a lovely dining room. I have eaten with them there and the food I have had has been good. Of course, there are some things they like and some they don't, but there are always alternatives available on the menu in addition to the nightly specials. All in all I am very pleased with their care. The caregivers have been wonderful and attentive to my parents.

I’ve had a good impression of The Crossings at Hanover. I am good with it; I don’t have any complaints. I really liked the people who work there. They have been caring and good; the whole thing is good. They are very friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious, and I liked the way that it is set up. The kitchen has too many cabinet spaces and not enough closet spaces in the bedroom, but it is nice. I like the way that they have a separate living area. They like the variety and the choices of food. They say dinner is great some nights and not so great some nights. I have both my parents and both my in-laws there
