"My mother-in-law used to be at Morningside of Bellgrade and I thought the place was wonderful. It was really nice and clean. The nurses were good and attentive to the residents. The food was good. They had lots of programs. They had live music. They had a van that took them to places, movies and shopping. They had a birthday celebration every month. My biggest complaint on the place would be that people were not allowed to take their own medicine. We had to utilize the pharmacy that services the whole center. However, when we left we were told that we could have done that, but we were not made to feel that way. Overall, we were happy with all of them. "

"My mother was in the assisted living of Spring Arbor Cottage of Salisbury and just transferred to memory care. So far, they're very professional. They matched everything we were looking for. They've got an in-house physician and a pharmacy. They've got activity coordinators and cleaning people. They have well-stocked cafeterias and kitchens, and they do great meals. So far, we've been very pleased with the service that we receive from them. I have tried the food. It's very good. It's more like a dining room, not really a cafeteria. They actually bring the food just like they would at a restaurant. We've been very pleased. There's nothing that they haven't been able to handle at this point in time. They've been really good. The staff is excellentL the nurses, the aides, the administration, and the health department. They are all very, very good. The activities are fine. They have them all day long every day. I think any family would be very, very satisfied with this facility."

"I toured Spring Arbor of Salisbury it's very close to where I live. We didn't like that one because I want independent living. I'm not ready for assisted living yet. They're very nice, very informative if I was ready to make a move, I'd probably be a little more interested than I am now. They're beautifully laid out, everything's accessible, no problem, and it's very spacious. The facility is very neat, well-landscaped, and decorated very nicely. I would recommend they go to see it. It's located within my range, it's accessible to where I am now in, as far as shopping and all that stuff."

"Brookdale Midlothian would be my second choice. It is a nice place. This is probably where we would have gone had they not been able to take him in his current facility. It is beautiful and newer. The entrance was very attractive as we went through all the space they showed everybody. It was all very attractive and very homey. The people there were very nice and seem to know how to do a good job. I really think that is where we would have gone. That would be closer to us too. The dining room looked very nice. Everything about it looked good, and as far as I know everything about it might be good. "

"My dad is moving into The Harmony Collection at Hanover. It's close to me and fairly new, like three years old. It was very clean. The residents there were happy. I've only been there a couple of times so far and they've been really good. Things could change in the next month, though. They've been helpful. Every time I call, they call back. So far, it's been nice. When you get the room, it's empty. The apartment that he will have is very big and spacious. It has big and nice granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. It has a big living room, a nice size bedroom, and a big bathroom. They have an opportunity to go to the grocery store twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have a lot of activities, too. They have something they call a happy hour where they have live entertainment on Tuesdays and Fridays. They have puzzle clubs and walking clubs. Supposedly they go on excursions outside, and they take them to places like maybe to a park or they take them to doctor's visits. They have some type of woodworking shop where the high schoolers come over and help them, or they teach them or help them in the woodworking shop. It seems like there's a lot of activities to do and that's one of the main reasons why we chose them. They have a nice dining area, restaurant style, where they come to serve you. It's pretty big. They also have a chef there and it's nice. So far, I haven't met a lot of the staff. I just met the lady at the front desk and the marketing lady and both of them have been excellent. So far, it's all on paper and I have not really seen anything happening. They have a movie theater with a big, big screen. They also have a dining area if you want to bring your family in. It's a private dining area for them. Everyone I looked at was more money and they didn't offer independent living. Most of them only offer assisted living, where it's almost double in price."

"I did a tour and the place was very clean and the staff was very helpful answering questions and addressing any concerns I had."

"The people were friendly when I visited. They spoke to all the residents. The facility looked nice and clean. This one had an outside yard that residents could go and sit outside, and that would be important to my dad when the weather gets better. They had planned activities also. Overall, I was impressed with it."

"We visited the assisted living of Commonwealth Senior Living. It was all on one level, and it was more of a family-type atmosphere where the people that lived there can help and do things if they want to. They provided smaller care, and had better individualized attention. The staff was very friendly, and very informative. It was very convenient to where I lived. They have good, home-cooked meals, and a little garden area they can work on."

"Sancerre Atlee Station is brand new. It's within three miles from our daughter's home and also about three miles from a local medical facility hospital in the area. We liked the apartments that were available. We liked the size, what they looked like, and all that. The staff was very informative and answered our questions. The facility was very clean."
