"My mom is in Beth Sholom. We chose it because they are caring. They care for the elderly. They are compassionate for these people. They treat my mom better than the other place she has stayed. They have all kinds of activities. They are involved in everything. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have snack bars for them. Everybody is friendly. They take them out all the time. They take them to the bank, the post office, or wherever they want to go. They will take my mother to her doctor's appointments. They have a rec room where they do their activities. The luncheon there is great. It is just a wonderful place. "

"Envoy of Westover Hills is satisfactory in all areas. The place is homey and clean. The people seemed content. The staff is helpful. There was a salon and rehab room. They have the ability to get them to daycare for activities if they want to."

"This is the best facility in the state of Virginia. I have visited and seen many facilities and this one by far is the best. No place is ever going to be perfect so if that is what you want you are totally unrealistic. No place provides one to one care and everyone may have to wait for help at times, however I see the staff being friendly and doing their best to help all the patients. It feels like a home at Sitter & Barfoot. My family member raves about the therapy staff and nursing staff, and cleanliness. I thank every staff member for all the care provided to my loved one and to all the veterans you serve. This truly is the best place around. "

"My sister-in-law is at Lucy Corr. They have physical therapy on-site. In the area that she is in now, it is a double bedroom but spacious enough that everyone has their own privacy. They have a day room for any activities and a dining room where the residents go to eat. They have a social worker that conducts a plan of care, which I'm involved with every two or three months when they have the plan of care meeting. The place is very clean and well-kept. The floors are shiny. Food is prepared well. I would certainly recommend Lucy Corr to anyone who has a loved one that needs either short-term or long-term care. Each unit has licensed nurses and certified nurse assistants that take care of the patients for personal care, bathing, and so on. Their laundry gets done once a week. They escort them to the dining room, so they can have their meals. Most of the time they're having activities in the dayroom. With regards to value for money, I think they are providing good service."

"The administrator is dynamic and involved. The environment is very clean and fresh. There is lots of activity and bustling energy. The rooms are a bit small compared to other facilities, but this one would be one of the top 2 of the 5 we've visited this weekend, with The Laurels being number 1. "

"If you’re looking to admit someone here please take your time to visit & take a tour. The staff is super friendly & honest, bathrooms are clean, & the place doesn’t smell of feces. During my tour they had a guy playing piano & singing for the residents & I believe that was just one of many things they do for these people here. Franky was my tour guide she was super quick & efficient. Amani at the front desk was very helpful with getting me the assistance I needed as well, very pretty lady. My experience was definitely great."

"My Mom spent her final six months here loved and cared for by the wonderful, attentive, and sincerely caring staff. Every member of the team shared timely, positive, kind, focused, encouraging and caring services. The food was excellent. And she was blessed with the best roommate on the planet. She told us often that she felt loved there, so vital when eyesight and strength are failing. Everyone we met immediately welcomed us and made us feel at home there.
