The rooms and facility are kept spotless and the employee's really care about the residents. They treat my Mom and my wife and I like family. It is always a pleasure to visit the facility and the staff go out of their way to answer any questions we have. I feel 100% confident that my Mom will be taken care of while she stays there.

I was a resident at Royal for a few weeks of rehabilitation. After Guilian Barre syndrome left me unable to function. The Royal was great, the entire staff is wonderful! From the nursing, PT, cleaning, cooking, and maintenance everyone is very helpful and kind. Even the other patients and their families are supportive and friendly. Starting my recovery here was perfect, close to home and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Royal to anyone for great care and comfort. I will always be grateful for everyone's efforts that made my stay a success!

My wife is at Royal Health Westerly, and it's a very clean and spotless facility. It's bright and pleasant. I would say it's terrific. I would describe their staff as wonderful. She's just been there a few days and they are so caring and kind. I've spent a lot of time with me and her to just understand their basic needs. She's been in some other nursing homes but their interest in their patient, their kindness, their caring, their level of understanding about her problem, and their patience is great. I couldn't say enough good things about my experience over the last several days. There have been more activities there in the few days she's been there than all the other two places in all the months put together. There are multiple daily activities, there's entertainment and religious services there. The staff themselves take time during the day to sit and talk to her. Across the board, there's just an extremely high level of attention from the staff to the people that are there. They seem to care. And the level of attention they give the people there is terrific. They are certainly not understaffed; there's plenty of staff there. I would give them an A rating. They're very good. My wife has been in a couple of places, so I have that background. The place is not like the nursing home setting. It's a home. It has a very homey atmosphere. It's very good. The food compared to the other places is very good. For the number of staff and the amount of effort they put into it, I would say it's very fairly priced.

My mother is in Royal Health Westerly for rehab. We chose this because we're very familiar with it, it's very close to her doctors and her home. We have known people to residents there and knew that it was a quality place. There's always room for improvement but they're very, very attentive, very caring, and they know their job. I feel it may be a little understaffed, but I believe they're working on that now. My mom loved the food, kudos to the cook and I hope him well because he's very good. There were plenty of activities that she could have participated in. We prompted her, but she wasn't all that interested, but there were plenty of activities. They had activity areas, they have a physical therapy room that anyone was allowed to go in and use if they wanted to. The place was small. Medicare is paying for it, which is great for us, but it's a little on the high side compared to other places.

Royal Westerly is a great place. They take great care of my father. It's super clean. The meals are wonderful and served three times a day. Anything he wants, it's right there. There's so many staff there. It's amazing how many amazing people are there waiting on the older people. It's excellent. A lot of the staff has been there for more than 20 years. They're wonderful people. He loves the food. They change the beds and are constantly cleaning. The physical therapy is absolutely amazing. They have activities every day. On Friday afternoon, they have cocktail hour and give everybody a glass of wine. It's a good value.
