"I visited this facility several times. My fiance works here. It's a mediocre facility. Though I must say it's better than some I have seen. There are of course those staff members that don't really care, but there are a number who DO care and will take better care of the ones that get neglected by some of the lazier CNA's. There are only a handful of CNA's that really do a good job, and the majority do an okay job. It's in no way an ideal living condition, but, again, it's still better than a lot of places.The residents all receive good care, they are clean and taken care of. The facility is rather clean, of course it's not spotless ilke a hospital, but it stays clean. There is a good kitchen staff and a variety of foods for the residents. Soaps, towels, diapers, brushes etc. I must mention the fall rate at this facility. Not so much that there are a ton of falls, but the nurses here are very good. They report every 'fall' (which in a nursing home even if they sit down on the floor it's a 'fall'). There have been a few major accidents in the last year, requiring a state audit and resulting in several lawsuits, but the place remains open and running smoothly.I rate it a 4 and not a 3 because I know the work my fianc̩ does, and she is an excellent care giver. There are rarely falls on her shift, the residents are always calm when she's there.(for a nursing home that is) Overall it's a good place. Not top notch, but much above the average nursing home. "

"My mother is in Kent Regency Center because we had a good experience with them. It's a good place, and the staff is good. They have facilities like a hairdresser, a schedule for bingo, and things of that nature. The people are very nice, and when you walk in they greet you. The rooms are also very nice. We're paying through Medicare."

"Saint Elizabeth Home was on the cutting edge of nursing care to make the place feel more like home. There was a full working regular home-style kitchen in the center. If they're doing well enough, they can cook for themselves and get coffee any time of the day. They have their own food in their refrigerator, their own room, and own bathroom. It didn’t have the heavy-handedness of a nursing care, and it didn’t have a central nursing desk. It very much did not look like a hospital. Each room had the contraptions installed along the ceiling that can help lift people who can't get in and out of wheelchairs themselves, and there were call buttons everywhere. There were two CNAs for each house and one or two nursing staff for all five houses. It was a full-service nursing care but felt much more like a home, and it was very new."

"My mother-in-law ended getting very sick and ended up in Greenwood Care and Rehab. Every time we visited, it's clean. It doesn't smell. It took awhile for her to get used to being there, but now that she's there, she is very happy. It's very nice. They seem to be very caring. They're very respectful of her. She is well fed. The residents look good. There are lots for her to do there. "

"The Staff is ALWAYS willing to listen to you cares and concerns. They act on them and take the time to get to know your family member. They pay attention to how my mother is doing and order tests to make sure they are doing well...they take calls and give needed information to help insure things are going well. The rooms are a bit small but the place is very clean. They do the laundry and make sure clothes are cleaned and marked with my mother's name. One of the staff knew my mother loved chowder and clam cakes and very kindly brought it back to my mother as a surprise...it made her day."

"My brother went to Sunny View Nursing Home for rehab, they were very nice and very compassionate. It's an older facility but it's very, very clean and very homey. They had arts and crafts, and they had games. They had a chapel, and the rooms were kind of small, but they were adequate."

"We were at Cedar Crest as visitors not looking, but we were delivering some gifts, and it appears clean. The people appeared to be reasonably cared for. It appeared clean, and it appeared that they were conscientious in the care of the patients. For only being there 15 to 20 minutes, they appeared to be operating reasonably well and the people we talked to seemed quite pleased and happy. "

"My husband had his rehab at Roberts Health Center. They were very good. Their nurses, CNAs, and therapist were very good to my husband. The room was sufficient. I would definitely recommend them to others. They had people that came in and talked to you about the services there. They asked you for any suggestions or any problem that you had. They were just very good. They were very helpful. The food was very good. My husband was very pleased with it. "

"I stayed here for rehab after my hip replacement three years' ago. I was treated so well that when my mother needed an intermediate care facility after a major surgery that required more intensive care than I, I didn't want her to go anywhere else. She has been there for three weeks now, and neither of us could be more pleased with the care she is receiving. "

"Mom was treated good but staff is controlled by mean and rude director woman on staff in 2025 without saying name. She has no respect for your time, and doesn't even respond to your questions or calls. She makes people feel very uncomfortable mostly family members, trying to help their loved one, and managed to get my mom very upset upon leaving."

"This is a great facility. Everything is clean, staff is great. This is the second rehab my father has been in, in the past few months and after our first experience I was a little leery but was pleasantly surprised. Exceeded my expectations, I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for a loved one. "

"Mom was sent there after the hospital. She had multiple issues - bedsore, on dialysis, delirium. One reason she was accepted there was because they had a certified wound care nurse and this way the nursing staff could work with a local wound care facility in a hospital for her care. I went for a quick visit (she was going in that day) and the staff was very kind, respectful, found time to talk to me and show me around. I was informed about their family services, given the name of the social worker (who was always available to help me through the Medicaid paperwork), asked about food issues. The facility was clean, neat, 'homey'. On the floor she was to be on, the nurses station was surrounded by residents talking to each other, there was one side room used for eating and meeting with relatives (with a TV). Another side room was for therapy and getting people ready to go home (kitchen set up) but right outside was a patio with flowers and vegetables growing in boxes raised up so all residents could help take care of them -- water, cut, or just to see. They made sure she was ready for dialysis transport on time. Mom was never dirty or smelly and CNAs seemed interested in helping her eat - they never seemed rushed when I would walk in on them. They were helpful and came pretty quick when I wanted to get her up and go around the facility - she needed to be gotten out of bed by a 'hammock' type of lift and into a wheelchair. I was guided very respectfully and treated well when it came time for palliative care and then hospice, sitting with me and sometimes with me and mom, seeing if she understood the palliative care issue. I was talked through all the changes coming and was invited to call or stop by 24 hours a day. When she passed, they were comforting and respectful. The facility is definitely on my list of ones to recommend in this area. "
